I order two Jakar ruling pens as I’d lost my old one and really missed it. I decided to try both models fixed and hinged. The price was very good.
They arrived promptly well wrapped and in perfect condition.
The ruling pen handles are not as nice as my old model which was solid and the width dial no longer has any calibration, i was wrong - they do have the wallet holder to stop the point getting damaged in transit, but they both worked well on testing.
I saw a review of them bought from a different source & the person thought they were fake and but I think like me they must have had the earlier model originally.
I checked the photos here and the ones I’ve got are identical, so the handles have been modified, ditto the now uncalibrated dial, but to be honest I doubt I’d use the dial as they are for expressive art work not technical drawing that has to be reduced to a standard. I guess the new handle makes them lighter, but I’m not keen on it. I won’t use them for hours on end so maybe it will be of no consequence but the balance of the oldster was nicer.
Can’t blame Cult pens for Jakar redesigning them. It’s just to highlight the difference for those who want to replace an old solid handle model with calibration.
Cult pens are my go to pen supplier so I’ll deffo be back again for something a bit unusual.

Item was dumped on my doorstep which is not safe by Royal Mail and stolen I had already contacted Royal Mail to complain previously and was told nothing would be left in my doorstep again.
I bought from this company via eBay thinking I had protection against non delivery through courier negligence. The item was expensive.
This seller was allowed to bypass compensation by eBay and I lost all my money and got nothing this seller was the one who decided not to refund me and had my feedback completely fabricated to a very positive review so not only mean spirited but also fraudulent.
Do not buy from this outfit if anything goes wrong they will leave you high and dry even if they could help they won’t.
I was so disgusted I closed my eBay account of 21 years
I could not recommend Your Second Hand to anyone. I’d rename them Your Underhand if I could.

I loved the look of the new printed collars Petiquette have started making and immediately ordered one for my Italian greyhound in the lilac bloom design, it was so pretty.
I emailed Geoff to ask a few questions as I also like the wave design but it wasnt in sight hound style but I heard back very quickly from him that it was not a problem they could do an Italian greyhound collar with this print if I wanted one. I’m hoping matching printed leads might be offered in due course but will probably get a matching white leather lead with purple and AB crystals to complete the look.
Postage was fast and the item arrived safely and right on time, in a very good sturdy box package.
The collar is lovely, fits perfectly and is very well made I got mine with extra padding the inner leather compliments the printing in a nice purple and it looks very smart on my dog. She loves it and so do I.

I ordered an item from the states via eBay it was not cheap. DHL claimed it had been delivered but it was not delivered. Royal Mail idiot relief postman dumped it on my doorstep and it was stolen - is that my fault - eBay think so. As if I run DHL or Royal Mail I have already complained to Royal Mail about this happening in the past, even my normal postie said it was completely unacceptable to claim the doorstep was a safe place and it went against their rules about what is safe and the relief postman had no right to leave it there and say it was safe when it clearly isn’t & he told me to complain.
When I tried to get a refund, as I understood I was protected, eBay even said I would get a refund or a replacement in an email, but they have now refused insisting DHL delivered it so I am effectively being accused of lying by eBay.
Their tracking via DHL from overseas is rubbish once it gets to the uk you are not notified of when it will be delivered only that it supposedly has been delivered. The claims and appeal system is not fit for purpose it is hard to find, complicated and cannot be updated easily. Their judgement in this case cannot be justified by any measure of what is fair and right . So I have lost all my money and got nothing for it but grief. They shut the claim down and my appeal.
So I have shut down my eBay account it’s a poor way to treat an honest customer after two decades of purchases. They are not stealing any of my money again or treating me in such an abominable way.
I would not advise using them you are not safe on this marketplace anymore eBay will not help you when things go wrong with delivery they will side with the charlatans who loose millions of packages by bad practice the protection and guarantees they claim to offer are hollow and nothing more than window dressing

I was expecting a packet from USA as DHL said delivery would be today 22nd
I had no notifications from them at all, no updates no nothing
I checked tracking to discover they claimed they had delivered it on Friday it’s a complete lie it would not fit through the letter box, no update, no txt, no docket, no photograph pretending to be evidence of posting.
No one to contact to find out where it is just go back to supplier.
It can only have been dumped on the door step, by an open stairwell anyone can access, by the delivery driver and has been stolen, it is obvious it is not a safe place to leave anything.
Why do they need my contact details to sell them on to the highest bidder, they certainly didn’t use them to deliver my item safely
Dreadful service a complete failure

I just waited in for a parcel to get a message that Royal Mail tried to deliver they are TOTAL LIARS. No one even rang the bell. They have ruined my day as I waited in specially for it instead of important and pressing things. I cannot wait in again on the off chance they might actually bother to deliver it. The delivery office is miles away and difficult to get to taking over an hour each way and has pathetic opening hours. Great work Royal Mail &thanks for wasting my time for NOTHING,

It was easy to order the pen I wanted, it was fast delivery& the item was well packaged , I found the reviews very helpful . The pen is great and was a good price, so all round it was an excellent experience

The product is excellent and it was well packaged. The communication was very helpful when one color has sold out.
The only problem was this delay and the delivery time which was very slow - I’d planned to have it all knitted by the time the wool arrived. I’d leave plenty of time between ordering and hoping to start the actual project. The price of the wool and needles was very reasonable, they kept me informed and the delivery was tracked so I would use the company again bearing in mind I might have to wait a while for the wool and accessories

Plants arrived safely, were well packed and most were in great condition the geraniums had a few duffs, though which was disappointing and could not be saved, but most were ok. I got alerts to tell me when they were arriving and they came as notified.
Very pleased with my purchase but I might not get geraniums again.

Plants were in perfect condition, nice size and well wrapped. Root balls were healthy damp and full of roots but with no circling around pot and they were easy to remove and plant in the ground. Two weeks after planting they are looking healthy and growth is very promising. Very pleased with the purchase

The web site had clear information and was reasonably easy to navigate.
However, I found it was tricky to compare bundled deals I couldn’t easily determine if there were different models of the face spa being included in different bundle deals or if was the same model, and I could not compare across from an epilator deal with a face spa and the face spa deals, only all the epilators, or all the face spas, for example, so it took ages to work it out myself. That could be made easier.
I wanted next day delivery which was stated as 7 day service but when I went to pay it mentioned taking a working day to happen. I called the help line who clarified it would be next day even though it was a Saturday which was a huge help. Indeed, it did arrive today (Saturday) as promised by the advisor and I only ordered it yesterday. Pretty impressive!
All in all it was a good experience. There was lots of helpful detailed info on the web pages and the help line service was excellent and answered immediately.
I have been very impressed with the overall service and back up help when ordering a product.
Delivery was fast and very reasonably priced for the expidated option.

The coat is great for my Italian greyhound who it can be tricky to fit. It offers all over coverage for very cold days. I thought it might be hard to get the coat on and off due to her long legs but it was ok following the way it was done on the video, the side zipper is really clever and she was very happy in it. We got it off ok doing it all in reverse & with practice it will become easier. It’s a well thought out item that is very well made for the worst of the British weather.
I got it because I was so pleased with the hurrta extreme coat. I am delighted with the overall version.

The coat was perfect for my Italian greyhound who feels the cold in weather like we’ve been getting. It was easy to order, find the right size and specifications. The coat arrived promptly. It is very smart and was a breeze to fit my dog, the inner snood flummoxed me a little, but I figured it out quite quickly. The fit is excellent and she loved it straight away, it kept her nice and warm even though it was freezing cold. I am delighted with my purchase which is perfect for my doggie’s needs. I would not hesitate to by from Mountain dog again and would highly recommend this company.
