On/off switch design - makes the product effectively unusable
We were less than impressed with the design of the on/off switch on the V8 we purchased. We understand that the design is this way to minimise battery use, but the attraction was for a lighter vacuum cleaner for use with arthritic hands - this product needs a constant and firm depression of the on switch, so is effectively unusable for more than a few seconds.
Based upon the premium pricing of this product in a very competitive marketplace, we believe this design feature should have been made clear to prospective purchasers. I'm now off to but a GTech or a Shark.
