🐉 Competing to win at our Dragon Boat Carnival 🏆 Our ExxonMobilSG colleagues made a massive splash as teams rowed as one to the finish line. With every paddle and stroke, teams leaned forward and back in unison, moving to the beat of the drums. Loud claps and cheers emerged from the shore as family and friends cheered on for one another. The ESRC Dragon Boat Carnival is one event that connects ExxonMobil families. We engage with our colleagues, their loved ones, and have fun together. 2026 also marked the 10th year that we have supported AWWA Ltd, with a fundraising campaign led by our Singapore Women's Interest Network. With the generosity of our colleagues, and corporate giving, we raised over S$38,000 this year! Rowers and supporters enjoyed the carnival game booths, food and activities. ExxonMobil's presence in Singapore stretches back over 130 years — making it one of Singapore's longest-standing foreign investors, with more than S$30 billion in fixed asset investments here. This National Day, as Singapore reflects on going beyond — Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond! — SMF is spotlighting Singapore companies that have helped shape our industrial story, including multi-national corporations such as ExxonMobil. ExxonMobil's roots in Singapore date back to 1893, long before independence. Its predecessor sold petroleum and lubricant products at Robinson Quay. In 1966, Mobil started up its refinery at Pioneer Road, Jurong, and in 1970, Esso began refining operations on Pulau Ayer Chawan — now part of Jurong Island. The two came together as one company following the merger of Exxon and Mobil in 1999. Since then, the company has also invested in other manufacturing capabilities to make petrochemicals. Today, it operates a world-scale, integrated refining and petrochemical complex that serves Singapore and the world. In December 2025, ExxonMobil officially opened its multi-billion-dollar investment in Singapore: the Resid Upgrade facility. Using new technologies, the facility upgrades fuel oil into higher-value lubricant base stocks. With this innovation, the company’s manufacturing complex also makes a new product for customers, EHC 340 MAX™, which is distributed to customers around the world. 🚢 We got a LNG bunkering license from Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA)! The license will allow us to supply liquified natural gas (LNG) as a marine fuel in Singapore. This recognizes ExxonMobil’s ability to bring together its integrated LNG value chain—from production, logistics and delivery—to provide our customers with reliable supply of LNG. With LNG bunker vessels already on order, we are well-positioned to support growth in this market. We look forward to serving our customers and the maritime community in Singapore with an additional marine fuel offer. Students from 16 schools visited our offices and learnt first-hand from employee volunteers about how STEM can help address real-world challenges and improve everyday lives. The visit is part of a program by Junior Achievement Singapore and #ExxonMobilSG to share real-world perspectives and challenges, including what it takes to meet society’s evolving needs, with students. One of the key takeaways for students was how energy and chemicals are key to enabling modern life. Interactive product samples brought to life the industry’s diverse and impactful applications, and virtual reality demonstrations offered an immersive perspective on the realities of day-to-day operations.
