Tomorrow's leaders are shaped by the opportunities we create today. This past summer, ExxonMobil-supported STEM programs and camps engaged more than 1,600 students and educators across the country. Participants explored STEM through hands-on learning, career exploration, and workforce development opportunities. Working alongside academic and community partners, we're helping students discover a passion for STEM while equipping educators with resources they can bring back to their classrooms. Last week, we kicked off our 2026 Houston Giving Campaign alongside United Way of Greater Houston. Thank you to Amanda McMillian for joining us and for her continued partnership in supporting Houston families and communities. We're proud to see our employees rally around a shared purpose to strengthen the communities where we live and work. With approximately 14% of Houston households living below the poverty line, every contribution will help support local individuals and families who need it the most. Transforming STEM education in Guyana starts with empowering educators. That's why we're proud to launch the Guyana STELLAR Program, which will provide the first cohort of 60 pre-service secondary school educators with specialized STEM training starting this month. Over the next two years, participants will build STEM expertise, instructional skills, and leadership capabilities to help create engaging, high-quality learning experiences for students. The next cohort of teachers will begin the program in August 2027. STELLAR is the first step in ExxonMobil's US$100 million, 10-year investment to strengthen STEM education in Guyana, and the first component of the Guyana STEM Initiative designed to expand opportunities for both educators and students through teacher training, hands-on learning experiences and career pathways. Looking ahead, the initiative will also include establishment of STEM Centers modeled after the ExxonMobil Foundation's Teen Engineering and Tech Centers, with the first center expected to open in Georgetown in 2029. Did you catch the ExxonMobil Foundation Teen Engineering and Tech Center (TETC) on KHOU 11's Great Day Houston? Alvin Abraham, President of the ExxonMobil Foundation, joined Deborah Duncan to discuss how the ExxonMobil Foundation is investing in STEM education and creating opportunities for the next generation of innovators. Launched in 2024, the TETCs in Houston and Spring, Texas, provide free afterschool programming and hands-on STEM learning experiences for underserved students. Through project-based activities, mentorship, and exposure to real-world engineering and technology concepts, students are developing the skills and confidence needed to pursue future STEM careers. An estimated 100,000 preschool-aged children in Harris County are food insecure. Through our decade long community partnership with Kids' Meals, Inc., ExxonMobil employees and their families are helping make a difference. At this year's ExxonMobil Family Fest Volunteer Day, 2,800 volunteers packed and decorated healthy lunch bags to support Kids' Meals, Inc. and the food-insecure preschool-aged children they deliver to across the Houston area. This year’s event added 10,000 lunches for a total of 30,000 meals packed through Family Fest since the event began in 2024, demonstrating the impact we can make when we come together in service of our community. #ExxonMobilGiving #KidsMeals #CommunityImpact

Our hearts are with the families and communities impacted by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela. To support recovery efforts, ExxonMobil is contributing $500,000 to the American Red Cross. Working through the global Red Cross network, these funds will help deliver critical aid—including emergency shelter, medical care, safe water, and recovery support—to Venezuelan communities in need. Thank you to the first responders, relief organizations, and community leaders working tirelessly to provide critical support in the face of this tragedy.

This week’s heavy rains across Houston underscore the importance of investments like the new generator at Fonde Community Center—ensuring critical support is available when it’s needed most. Together with the City of Houston and United Way of Greater Houston, we’re helping our community stay safe and prepared.
Glad to announce a major step forward in protecting Houstonians during emergencies. In partnership with ExxonMobil and United Way of Greater Houston, a $665,000 investment will fund a new generator at Fonde Community Center—one of our key sites for sheltering vulnerable residents during storms. Together with public and private partners come we are keeping our city safe and prepared. Houston is getting stronger and more resilient every day.
