The method for determining the significance of criterion of blood lipid metabolism disorder in patients with hypertension by studying the fatty acid composition of blood lipids by GLC. There is determined the content of higher fatty acids: myristic, palmitic, oleic, linoleic in lipids of erythrocytes, lymphocytes and blood platelets, and then compared with the control and at change of parameters the criteria of significance of metabolic disorder are determined.
