I had a wonderful tour of Arlington Cemetery and the Changing of the Guard. Our guide, Jim Garrett was a seasoned guide at Arlington so I feel like our group got the best of the best! He took us to several interesting grave sites and gave just enough information on these individuals to make us want to go home and learn more. It was a perfect day/tour.

I always use Viator to book my tour. I never had problems with the tour but recently I had a problem with the transport booking in Auckland. But I will still use the tour part.

I will never book with Viator again. My husband booked a tour in Sicily which we showed up to 30 minutes early. The tour guide never showed. We called him several times and he didn’t answer. We called Viator to let them know what was happening. They called him directly as well and there was no response. We weren’t refunded, given an apology or any type of resolution. We weren’t refunded, given nothing but a runaround and pathetic excuses.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel others should know about my experience.

This was my third time using this transportation company for international travel because my previous experiences were good. Unfortunately, this trip was a complete disappointment.

I booked my transportation weeks in advance and clearly entered the name of my resort on the reservation form. When I landed at the airport, I was told I had to pay an additional $60 because the resort was 45 minutes away. If that fee was required, it should have been disclosed before I traveled—not after I arrived in a foreign country with no other transportation arranged.

The return trip was even worse. I completed the return transportation form with the correct pickup date and have proof of my submission. Despite that, the driver showed up an entire day early. When I explained that my pickup was scheduled for the following day, I was told I couldn’t reschedule because the driver had already made the trip. Their scheduling mistake somehow became my problem.

I’ve used this company multiple times because I trusted them, but this experience was frustrating, stressful, and poorly managed. Travelers deserve transparent pricing and accurate scheduling, especially when they’re relying on transportation in another country.

I hope this review encourages the company to improve its communication, pricing transparency, and reservation process.

Be careful of most of “positive” reviews, they are not generated. Viator refused to refund me $300+ after the store I made reservations approved it and had noted it. This 3rd party site has been known to do this.

went new york last week. bought two tickets to the summit one vanderbilt experience two days in advance. i paid the more premium ‘ascend’ tickets too. as we came to the venue with our tickets i realise it was still sat in ‘pending’. this was extremely stressful and i tried contacting the chat agent and he said theyre still waiting for the operator to confirm? this made no sense as we booked at 8:30 ticket and it was already 8:40!! we asked the checkin desk and they couldnt find our booking and instead we had to pay a premium at-door price for the normal summit one experience.

got a full refund since the tickets were never confirmed but yeah, horrible experience.

Booked an exterior Notre Dame tour with free entry. What it didn’t say was that free entry meant queuing for entry for over an hour . This also applies to the semi private exterior and interior tour costing €78.
Very poor description and very misleading from a so called reputable company

Booking reservations is easy. Contacting customer support from overseas is difficult when only a phone number is listed. Third party cancelled my tour and told me to contact Viator to get my refund. Third party also was slow to respond in order to possibly rebook the reservation.

My online account with Viator was easy to access. I was able to get the information for my booking and tickets. Everything was delivered without any problems.

Communicative and patient staff - helped me figure out what our nearest pick up location would be since we weren't staying at a hotel. The guide was fantastic - good amount of stops, showed us beautiful scenes, and was punctual.

Pompeii ,Sorrento and Amalfi trip !!!
To start with, the coach was late but the driver explained there had been an accident on the way, which was understandable.
I was disappointed with how rushed the stop in Sorrento felt. There simply wasn’t enough time to properly enjoy it. The onboard WiFi also didn’t work throughout the journey, despite it being listed as an included feature.
Overall, I didn’t feel the trip was worth it. There was far too much time spent driving and not enough time at either of the two stops to make the experience enjoyable.
No Amalfi stop over in the trip nor it was mentioned during the trip.
The tour guide Michela was not really interested in answering any additional questions regarding the situation on the coach. She completely ignores you when she doesn't want to answer any questions.
Waste of a day!!!
Would not recommend it.

We have had good experiences with Viator. The website is easy to navigate and the options offer something for everyone all over the world. We will continue using the website and would recommend it to others.
