So basically I love the app they can build crazy stuff even on the free version check it out
Absolutely horrible customer service
Absolutely horrible customer service, if you fail payment, they will PUT DOWN ALL YOUR WEBSITES THE SAME DAY EVEN IF THE FAILURE IS DUE TO A 3D verification IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT !
Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from management ignoring my requests.
No contact from sales after I have asked 4-5 times, just ignored….
Wondering how investors can give money to such a group of people with no ethics and no values at all !
I've now built 5 succesful businesses using replit
I've now built **five SaaS applications** using Replit, and it has completely changed the way I develop software.
One of those businesses was successfully sold for a substantial amount of money, which gave me the confidence to continue building every new project on the platform.
I'm currently building an advanced speech-to-speech AI trading operating system which uses purely voice, entirely on Replit. It's one of the most ambitious projects I've worked on, and the platform has enabled me to iterate and develop features at a pace that simply wasn't possible before.
What I appreciate most is how quickly I can turn an idea into a working product. Replit has enabled me to build full-stack applications with modern technologies without the overhead of setting up a traditional development environment. As someone focused on launching SaaS businesses, that speed has been invaluable.
Like any AI-assisted development tool, it's not perfect. There are times when you need to guide the AI, review the code, and refine the implementation. But if you approach it as a collaborative development partner rather than expecting perfection, it's incredibly capable.
Based on my experience building multiple real-world SaaS applications, successfully selling one of them, and now developing my most advanced AI platform to date, I can confidently recommend Replit to anyone serious about building software.
I'm Not sure if trustpilot will allow me to share the work i've built so far but here are the SaaS businesses Ive built with replit.
atlasvos - Atlas V (Speech to Speech OS)
vksecured - Vault for passwords & Documents
pipaura - Trading journal (sold)
vaynorth - SaaS Acquisition Studio
checktvc - Building Trades verification
Ive tried other well known ai building platforms and none are as good as replit in my opinion.
The one thing i have noticed using replit is the more descriptive the prompt the better the outcome. Its also better to break your building development into parts it creates better this way.
Dont do it to yourself
If youre thinking to use replit. Dont
Plenty more options. Just simply avoid this, unless youre an experienced developer.
Dont let advertising fool you. This is not a few prompts and you have a fully working app that anyone can do service. Its truly awful. It cannot design anything. It changes functionality, core functionality to do with my product without being told to. It adds things to different servers then cant diagnose why I cant see the change for ages, all of which in-between trying to figure it out with prompts is costing me. Ive spent almost $500 so far on a gimmick app. Based on friends feedback, im sure I could've been done by now for less on claude or codex.
I even asked for support once, as a non developer I was frustrated with something that wasnt fixing (a 3d animation that works on ios but doesnt on android). They came back saying its not in their remit due to some technical explanation I didnt understand! Haha it really summed them up.
Oh and another time it created something and said "it looks great" - honestly a 2yr old would have designed it better.
Just avoid, they are way behind the curve
incapable
incapable, costly and a waste of everyone's time.
Constantly undoes and redoes not only its work but basic things i have done working in standard IDE's and merged back in. INCAPABLE OF USING GIT PROPERLY. an overall embrassement of a product
Replit PRO- The best in service and technology
Here is a polished, genuine 5-star Trustpilot review:
★★★★★
I’m genuinely glad I chose the Replit Pro subscription.
I initially faced some billing issues, and my account was temporarily blocked. However, throughout the process, the Replit support team made a real effort to help me and ensure that I had the best possible experience. Their response and support gave me confidence in the company.
As for Replit Agent and its AI development tools, I am extremely impressed. It follows instructions carefully and usually makes only the changes requested, which is very important when working on a serious project.
I explored several AI development platforms before choosing Replit, and in my experience, Replit stands out from the rest. I am happy to have finally found a platform that I can trust for building and developing my projects.
This is not a paid or sponsored review. I am sharing my genuine experience because I believe that, just as customers speak up when something goes wrong, we should also appreciate businesses that work hard to provide excellent service and technology.
Thank you, Replit. I’m happy to be part of the Replit community and look forward to continuing my journey with the platform.
Your money his open bar !
Replit's business model sometimes feels refreshingly simple: if the software doesn't work, don't worry—the billing system certainly does.
Broken workspace? That's your problem. Failed Google Play build? Also your problem. A version that doesn't match what's on the website? You guessed it—still your problem.
The only reliable part of the service, in my experience, is their ability to keep charging you while you spend your time fixing issues they should have solved. I had to use Claude to repair mistakes that Replit itself couldn't.
I'm counting down the days until my project is finished so I can cut off payment access and move to a platform that spends as much effort on its product as it apparently does on its billing.
Based on my experience, I can't recommend Replit to anyone. Unless your hobby is beta-testing paid software while watching your subscription renew flawlessly.
After i bought credits in the process…
After i bought credits in the process of my project they told me to bill up again this is a mind game.....pure scam
Good for building and deploying
Good for building and deploying .
But very expensive . They really made me upset this week … last week paid them 1200 + .
One payment of 61 $ yesterday didn’t went thought and site is offline ….
They are prostitutes of money …
I don’t expect serious company to pull site offline when a payment doesn’t go through and you also need to update your payment method etc
Would give it a good review if it does… abeter job on following instructions and beter image making
Would give it a good review if it does not screw up my orders for him, i actually had to use Chat GPT to find a way to tell this AI how it should be done. after that he still finds ways to screw up my build, lost over 3000 euros wasted at least 800 of that on repeats and fixes that the ai screwed up...
Don't let replit do any image work its very very low quality
I'm writing to share concrete feedback…
I'm writing to share concrete feedback about a recurring reliability issue I encountered while using the AI app builder to develop a trading-analysis tool over the past several days.
The core problem: when I gave specific, explicit instructions for how a formula or feature should be changed, the AI repeatedly claimed the change had been made, while the actual output remained unchanged or changed in an unrelated, untracked way. This happened not once, but across more than ten consecutive iterations.
To illustrate with one clear example: I asked for a specific mathematical formula to be changed from a linear weighted-sum approach to a multiplicative one, where a single weak component would bring the whole result to zero rather than being averaged out. The AI confirmed this had been implemented. The output, however, kept showing results consistent with the old linear formula, verified by checking that the displayed threshold values and score distributions hadn't changed at all between before and after the claimed update.
When I pointed this out, the AI would acknowledge the discrepancy, propose a fix, and then produce another result that was different yet again, but in a way that appeared to optimize for whatever single example I had just mentioned rather than reflecting a structural fix. This created an endless loop: one variable would improve while several others silently got worse, with no way to verify what had actually changed in the code.
Eventually I sent a very explicit, numbered protocol to try to force discipline into the process: freeze the test dataset, change only one parameter at a time, require a visible diff or changelog for every claimed change, require a reproducibility check where the same input produces the same output twice in a row before any further work, and a clear separation between calibration data and held-out test data.
This protocol was acknowledged, and then ignored within the very next response. A new version was produced without any of the requested verification steps being shown, and again with results that simply shifted in an unverifiable way.
I want to be clear that I don't think this is a complaint about a single bad session. It reflects what I've also seen described independently by other users, including public reviews mentioning the tool going in circles and making unrequested, costly changes. For a product aimed at letting non-developers build real, working software, this kind of behavior, claiming a fix without delivering one and being unable to follow a simple explicit process for verifying changes, undermines the basic trust required to use the tool for anything beyond trivial prototyping.
Do not even try
My overall experience has been very disappointing and not worth the time or money invested.
The system works only for very basic models or designs. Once you begin building a real project, it quickly becomes difficult to manage even small queries. What should take minutes can take up to 7–8 hours to resolve.
A major issue is that previous work often gets overwritten or reverted. At times, new changes are applied, but earlier versions disappear, making it impossible to track progress. This leads to constant rework.
Additionally, you are required to repeatedly explain past context and details, which makes the process inefficient and exhausting. Instead of moving forward, it becomes a repetitive cycle.
Overall, it feels like a never-ending process for the user, while the provider continues to benefit financially from each step of development.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this, as it ends up wasting both time and money.
The app used to be so much better - intentional mistakes and cost maxxing from agent.
The app used to be so much better. I am convinced they are now charging more and intentionally making mistakes to drive up the user payments. The agent was far more capable and made less mistakes previously. They are clearly, in my mind, trying to max profits now that they have customers who have hosted their platforms here and will find it difficult to leave. Cost of tokens is meant to drop; this company is scamming us.
Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company! I emailed customer services to cancel my subscription and they assured me it had been cancelled. A month later a payment was taken again from my account. I emailed customer services to ask them to refund the erroneous payment and confirm again that my subscription had been cancelled. They took days to reply, frequently stating that there were high call volumes. They did not acknowledge their error or offer an apology. When they finally made the refund I was left out of pocket due to the exchange rate and my bank’s charge. I have blocked Replit through my bank and will certainly not trust them in the future.
Useless Customer Service
Accidentally paid them for a month that I didn’t want, so got in touch with customer service and asked them to cancel and if I could get a refund. They assured me they would and would cancel my subscription, but then did nothing and the next month I got charged again. I contacted customer support and again asked for my subscription to be cancelled, and for my previous month to be returned to me as promised. They again assured me that they would, and again did nothing and I was charged the following month. Do not rely on their customer service for any help.
Replit's Engineered Obsolescent Business Model
Started off great and very convenient, however now I cannot move projects away from Replit and I'm convinced this is part of their "Engineered Obsolescence" model and don;t rely on support to help they will give you the same advice as the AI which doesn't work (purposely) but hey guess what.. You pay for the mistakes it makes on every RUN! Wow. There are better tools on the market and I see that they are desperately attempting to retain customers by holding them hostage and not providing support. VERY FRUSTRATING.
APPALLING
This company provides an agent that lies, it gets almost everything wrong and you have to spend 90% or more of your budget fixing the BS the agent gets wrong, changes without instruction when you're not even logged in, makes decisions based on zero, puts photos of people that don't exist into projects in the builds and charges you $1000s for the privilege ... holds you to ransom is a better way of putting it. They NEVER reply to support emails. It is quite simply appalling.
USE WITH EXTREME CAUTION
I am currently using this to create 4 apps and the $20 dollar plan is bullshit you will use all the credits quickly and they will not tell you that you are over. I am gonna transfer all my work over so it doesn’t get erased. Gotta pay a extra 50 bucks so I can finish my apps but it is a reliable source though but they do not tell you that you have to watch how you use your “credits” the whole credit system is bullshit.
Replit are allowing porn to be hosted…
Replit are allowing porn to be hosted on their platform. Despite numerous complaints, they do not get back to you or care. For example, the site tryfootly has loads of porn on their blog posts
Terrible experience with Replit Core
I had a terrible experience with my Replit Core subscription. There is no warning as to when your credits are finished - the client must manually check to find out - this resulted in extra charges when I worked on my app. A very disappointing way to start. I then interrupted my work for about two months, while continuing to actively pay for the subscription. When I decided to return to the work, I found out my credits were already gone. Magically, as if Replit charges for your project to just exist. I, then, cancelled the subscription. A couple of weeks later I wanted to reactivate my subscription in order to just finish my project and export it. But, to my utter surprise, 90% of it was gone. And the AI tool is unable to recover it. And my last surprise was that Replit provides no customer support unless you're a paid subscriber. No matter how much you've paid before. The way they charge their clients feels like a scam. This is not a serious company.
