I posted an item 5 days ago on tracked 48. Forgive me for being stupid but you would think with a title like 48 tracked would mean delivered within 48 hours. Alas no it doesn’t. It means it could take anywhere up to a week by the looks of it. In other words it’s very misleading and should be changed. It’s pathetic.
Royal Fail!
Royal Mail 48 hour deliveries are pointless. Takes longer and estimated delivery window is pure fantasy.
Absolutely shocking customer service…
Absolutely shocking customer service received today (Reference: 15523194).
I strongly recommend that Royal Mail reviews the phone calls for training and quality assurance purposes. The level of service I received was completely unacceptable and fell far below the standard expected from a customer-facing service.
Honestly, a very disappointing experience.
Mail service now abysmal
Mail service now abysmal. Lucky if we get mail once a week. Hospital letters arrive after appointment attended - it’s fortunate we get text service! Parcels not a problem - they usually get picked up and delivered promptly (Although never to Royal Mail timings😊 and you have to wait in all day) but mail cannot be relied on now. The current mail staff are excellent but they have to prioritise parcel service and theres no replacement for staff who have left which leaves 2 or 3 in our area, to carry the load.
So, we shall not be posting Christmas cards this year as unlikely to arrive on time
Royal Mail impress again, NOT!
17:18 - I connect to Royal Mail’s customer service phone line to escalate a postman continuing to disregard company dress code policy by wearing their own casual clothing, no safety boots and no wearing of a staff member identification lanyard. I’m informed of an estimated wait time of 40 minutes before I can speak to customer service.
18:26 - I’m informed “our phone lines close shortly at 18:30.”
18:31 - After 33 minutes over my given estimated wait time to speak to customer service, my call is disconnected yet again all because Royal Mail can’t be bothered to take any further calls until the next working day. I don’t know any other company who operate this same way by palming their customers off! That’s another 1 hour 13 minutes of my time wasted courtesy of Royal Mail’s dire customer service.
And still, that dreaded “we’re busier than normal, we’d like to apologize in advance” rings out repeatedly 3 years on and counting - this has been the normal for the last 3 years you a*******s, there’s nothing normal about it anymore! How many new customer service call centre staff have been trained and enrolled during that time!? Somebody please submit a Freedom of Information request and provide the answer to my review. This company is further deteriorating for the worse.
Horrible service
Horrible service, I had a three packages to be delivered seating all day at home waiting for a delivery two days in a row they just keep marking. We missed you attempted delivery. No one even appearing front of my door. I can’t even find out where my items are.
Do not use this service, absolutely rubbish
Nothing ‘Royal’ about them!
This is my third day in the last few days waiting for deliveries from “Royal Mail”.
I have the app. I track the parcel, & then realise it’s just another waste of my time as it doesn’t arrive.
It become a recurring issue as it seems like every delivery is the same story.
From now on in I’ll be checking before I buy o line & if Royal mail are the courier I won’t be buying from the supplier. I noticed they have very poor reviews on Trustpilot so if everyone follows suit they won’t be long in changing tact
A man came and asked if I would take a…
A man came and asked if I would take a parcel in for 2 doors down.............when he came back with it 4 foot tall x 2 foot wide ISH I said I didnt realise it was that big, he took my name and door number, and when I said I dont want to take it in now, he looked at the side of my house and commented if it would stay dry!! TAKE IT BACK its blocking my exit if I have a fire
Royal Mail International - Frustrating!!!
I sent two parcels to the USA on 29.10.26, both sent together from the Post Office. Apart from the hassle at the post office, where they input £5 as £500, which took ages to sort out, off they both went.
One package has arrived in the US, and one is still showing at Langley, The Distribution Centre at Heathrow!! To date.
Here is the difficulty, trying to speak to a human being in Royal Mail, International. I tried everything, followed their process, one hangs up on you, the other tells you to wait 25 days before claiming, I don't want to claim, I want to know why you have stopped my package going to the USA!!
It is extremely frustrating when companies, like Royal Mail, stop customers from being able to talk to a human being, to sort out this kind of thing.
I tried tracking with USPS, but unlike the package that went with it, showing in the USA, this one is showing stuck at Heathrow, with no explanation. Totally frustrating and unacceptable.
Delivery is NOT Guaranteed…
When paying for the 24 hour tracked service it should be pointed out that next day delivery is not guaranteed and when the parcel is not delivered as expected there is no comeback or right to claim back the difference in postage rates between the 24 hour and say the 48 hour service. Think this years Christmas post is going to be a "nightmare" !
The Royal Mail are a bunch of absolute…
The Royal Mail are a bunch of absolute clowns. They lie about trying to deliver packages constantly and never deliver on time. I am so furious about sitting in waiting for parcels and then getting a message that either I wasn’t in or the house was inaccessible. Infuriating!
Yet again failing to deliver
Yet again failing to deliver to a business address in business hours, we now risk them doing a return to sender and we really need the items to finish a job.
Absolute shower of sh1t
By far the worst courier on this…
By far the worst courier on this planet!!! Ive had non stop problems with anything delivered by royal mail even when they try and lie saying they attempted delivery when im home anytime im expecting something!! They need to be completely shut down!! They had the nerve to deliver my parcel 12 miles away from my address to a completely different address and said "delivered" showing a picture of a house that is not even mine and a completely different door number. I wish companies would stop using royal mail as a delivery option because they are failing the entire nation!
Royal mail give you a tracking number
Royal mail give you a tracking number.
This gives you an approx time..
I can expect some delays, but the next day the same tracking number gives you another time slot .
That doesn't mean you will get it that day... because another time slot will be issued tomorrow.
This has happened a few times now.. they can't even get the day right let alone the time!..
But hay let's blame the customer when they are not in two or three days after you first said it would be delivered!@@
Royal Mail Disscusting Service …
I am writing this review because having made several attempts on the Royal Mail website I failed to find a way of making a complaint. I am 79 and live on the second floor of my flat (Top floor)Royal Mail periodically leave my mail on the ground floor where anyone can take it. Having failed this morning to send a complaint I tried phoning them through Google . The number given says wrong number?? Also eventually having found the correct number the wait time is 43 minutes. I believe the Royal Mail are deliberately making it really difficult for customers to contact them in order to minimise their trust pilot bad reports . I believe they are much lower than 3.00 Discusting. Patrick from Warwick
Shocking service
A parcel that was for a special birthday and worth a considerable amount was due last Friday, didn’t arrive, due yesterday, didn’t arrive. To speak to someone at Royal Mail I waited 52 minutes yesterday and another 28 minutes today only to be answered by ‘Ben’ who was unable to do anything at all. He advised no point in mailing the local delivery office as it takes them 72 hrs to respond! Royal Mail this ‘service’ is unacceptable and your rating on here should be enough to make your CEO sit up and listen - I would be embarrassed to be leading this organisation.
New Postie in this part of north-west…
New Postie in this part of north-west London. He is still unable to put the correct post through the correct letter box - addresses and postcodes are ignored by him. I am tempted to send an invoice for my services to Royal Mail because I am doing the Postie's job! Will someone get to grips with the shambles in the Daws Lane depot - please!!!
24hr delivery arrived after 7 days
24hr delivery arrived after 7 days! No compensation or apology. What a shower they are
Change for the worse
Whatever changes are going on at Royal Mail need to be reversed immediately! I used to praise Royal Mail, their service and staff and thought they were the best. Unfortunately over the past few months the service has dropped to diabolical. Lucky to receive a mail delivery every 9/10 days, even though I know for a fact post has been sent out and anything from financial, legal, medical is not getting through. Also have (or should I say had) a weekly publication that sometimes was missing, other times arrived over a week late. I obviously had to cancel this. It did look as if packages were getting through but now receiving a four hour window, opposed to the previous one, and even that is not being met. Having to sit in all day waiting for something that does not appear is far from ideal. I can appreciate someone living in a remote area perhaps having to wait a little longer for things to get through but not when you are living in the middle of a capital city. Royal Mail are now almost at the bottom of the list, if not actually there already. Feel so sorry for the posties who I know are struggling and losing colleagues by the hour. Someone please sort Royal Mail out
Exorbitant "clearance fee" - rip off Parcelforce!
I imported lights worth £149 from Belgium and fully expected o pay around 20% import and VAT (thanks Brexit) but Parcelforce levied an additional £12 "clearance fee" - why is it so much? and no way to query or question the exorbitant fee?
