I have to start by saying Lex is next level in customer service. I have been having issues with some pedals and not only has Lex helped me diagnose the issues, he has sent me the "not available" parts to make things right. Fanatec is a top tier product and Lex has now confirmed that service after the purchase still exists. Thank you Lex!!!

Accessories Mount white

I bought the Acessories Mount in white for my Sim racer and it broke at the weld. So now I had to buy another set of these instead of only one needed. So the product itself is fine but I recommend Fanatec to change the way of producing it. Maybe in the future they design the mount in one piece without any weld so it doesn’t break. And please give customers a chance to buy one mount instead of both. That should be possible.

Gran Turismo® DD Pro (8 Nm)

Back in March 2026, I purchased a **Fanatec Gran Turismo® DD Pro (8 Nm)** bundle for around **€750**. At first, it was a fantastic wheel and I was delighted with the purchase. Unfortunately, that all changed in October 2026 when the wheel started experiencing constant disconnections.

Despite weeks of troubleshooting and working closely with Fanatec support, the issue remains unresolved. What has been particularly frustrating is the extremely slow support process, with responses typically limited to one email per day. This has dragged out the investigation with no clear resolution in sight. So far, no repair, replacement, or definitive fix has been offered for what appears to be a faulty unit.

At this point, what should have been an enjoyable hobby has become a source of stress and frustration. For a product in this price range, I expected far better reliability and customer support.

To make matters worse, just before the wheel developed these issues, I purchased a set of **CSL Elite V2 pedals for €300**. The pedals are still sitting unopened in the box because I can't properly test or use them with a wheelbase that constantly disconnects.

I genuinely hope Fanatec resolves this situation, but my confidence in the brand has been severely impacted. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering a Fanatec product to research alternatives and carefully consider the potential risks before investing their money.

A sim racing setup costing over **€1,000** should provide enjoyment, not weeks of troubleshooting and uncertainty.

Outstanding Customer Support – Fanatec Goes Above and Beyond!

I am extremely satisfied with Fanatec's customer support!

I contacted Fanatec regarding an issue with my Podium DD1, which was no longer under warranty. I honestly did not expect much, but Chris from Technical Support went above and beyond my expectations.

He was very professional, friendly, understanding and responsive. Despite the fact that my wheelbase was out of warranty, he offered to send me a replacement Podium DD1 Main PCB Assembly completely free of charge!

This is an exceptional gesture and demonstrates that Fanatec truly values its customers.

A huge thank you to Chris for his outstanding support, professionalism and kindness.

This experience has strengthened my confidence in Fanatec and its products.

Highly recommended!

Podium DD 25Nm

There are several negative reviews for the Fanatec Podium DD 25Nm on the manufacturer's website because some users are unhappy with the "Full Force" feature. I don't get it; personally, I find it really distracting when I feel vibrations that aren't part of the actual force feedback. If the steering wheel of a real car vibrated like a console game controller, I’d take the car to a mechanic. I’ve owned the unit for six months, and for me, the torque and the vibrations felt when hitting curbs are more than enough. There’s absolutely no need for vibrations representing the road surface—they don’t add anything to the immersion; in fact, they’re just annoying. In my opinion, the Fanatec Podium DD 25Nm is excellent, and I consider "Full Force" to be a completely unnecessary feature.

The new podium Petals…

The new podium pedals are crap or at least the app is horrible… Brake pedal will not calibrate properly… I bought the pedals specifically for the brake and it does not work properly at all! it does not hold its calibration so while you’re driving it goes into full break Locke if you stop the game and re-calibrate it will work for a small amount of time then repeat the failure.
I returned to my inverted pedals, which work just fine… So in my opinion, this product is totally unacceptable and I’m sorry I invested so much time and money into it.

Excellent customer support and a…

Excellent customer support and a genuinely personal experience

I had an issue with the ITM displays on my Fanatec ClubSport Formula V3 wheel, and I would like to give special thanks to Mario from Fanatec Support for his outstanding assistance.

Throughout the entire process, Mario was friendly, patient, professional, and genuinely committed to helping me. He took the time to understand the problem, kept me informed, and made me feel that my concerns were taken seriously. After further troubleshooting, including a firmware flush, all five ITM layouts are now working correctly.

What impressed me most was not just the technical support, but the personal approach. Mario communicated with genuine kindness and appreciation, which made the whole experience feel much more personal than a typical customer support interaction.

Of course, no company gets everything right all the time, and technical issues can happen. What really matters is how those issues are handled. In my experience, Fanatec and especially Mario demonstrated exactly the kind of customer service that builds trust and loyalty.

Thank you, Mario, for your patience, dedication, and excellent support. Your personal commitment genuinely made a difference, and I hope Fanatec recognises the value of having people like you on their support team.

I am happy with my Fanatec equipment, and this experience has given me another reason to appreciate the brand. Highly recommended!

Only The Best

I have only ever received the best service and support from Fanatec. On this occasion in particular, I needed a back housing for a wheel of mine that had cracked, Chris from Fanatec responded within hours of my initial inquiry and arranged a free of charge replacement to be sent out to me. This entire process only took two days to resolve and was friendly and professional.

Once again, a very big thank you to Fanatec for another awesome experience.

Mario (Fanatec) best Support i ever had! For Sure!

From the very beginning, the service was very personable and friendly—they didn’t take the “it’s your own fault” or “there’s nothing we can do about it” approach.
The interaction was super nice, funny, and just friendly—you really got the sense that he enjoys his job and is cheerful. Everything went really smoothly and quickly, and in a way, it’s a shame that my issue was already resolved. :)
I highly recommend Mario (Fanatec), my German-speaking support representative!!!

Thanks, Mario!

Thank you for the no questions asked free replacement.

I purchased a Fanatec DD1 in 2018. Because of life, I just haven't used it much.
Recently, Fanatec/Corsair lowered the price of QR2 and their pricing attracted me. I still had the OG QR1 so I decided to purchase QR2 from Fanatec instead of supporting 3rd party clones. The products shipped to me really fast and without duty. After the install, I tried to turn on my base but to my dismay, the power supply light would not turn on. I had been looking forward to trying out QR2, I even mentioned it to some friends who had invited me to a race weekend.
Well, the only thing I could do was reach out to customer support. Chris at Fanatec customer support asked for a video to help with troubleshooting. I made him a video and without question, he sent me a replacement power supply.
This seemingly small gesture backs up my confidence in this business. They could have told me to pound sand, they could have told me they don't support DD1 PS4 and go buy a new base. They could have referred me to their Fanatec Consumer Guarantee webpage which only states coverage for 3 years from date of purchase. No, instead they chose to send me a replacement power supply at their cost for my 8 year old DD1 PS4 without question. They even shipped it really quickly. For that, I am giving them 5 stars.
Now, the power supply itself which is a Dongguan Dongsong DYS6480 (480W) power supply designed specifically for Fanatec, that power supply does not merit 5 stars. In the 40+ years I've walked this green earth, I have not ever had a power supply fail. My important loads are surge protected. But for Fanatec/Corsair to stands behind this, then I stand behind my 5 star rating for customer service and Fanatec has earned more business from me. In fact, I placed another order for accessories today (Oct 19, 2026).
So thank you Chris and the Fanatec customer support team for doing right by my eyes. I want to see your business succeed and I hope Fanatec reclaims it's market share as a premium sim OEM of choice.

Level of software support is just unacceptable!

I am extremely disappointed with Fanatec and the way its customers are being treated when it comes to software reliability and technical support.

Fanatec sells premium sim-racing equipment at premium prices. Customers invest significant amounts of money in their wheelbases, steering wheels, pedals, and accessories because they expect quality, reliability, and ongoing support.

What we should not expect is for Fanatec's own software to create problems with equipment that was previously working perfectly fine.

My Fanatec equipment was working before I encountered issues with the newer Fanatec software. Now, when I launch the application, I am greeted with an error message, followed by an automated recovery process that launches Windows PowerShell and seemingly accomplishes absolutely nothing.

The application gets stuck attempting to fix a problem, leaving me with an error screen and no meaningful explanation or solution.

And apparently, I am far from the only customer who has experienced this.

Public reports of this PowerShell recovery problem date back to at least June 2026. Fanatec subsequently released software updates addressing related repair problems, with another fix specifically targeting the endless PowerShell recovery loop announced in October 2026.

That represents approximately four months between a documented customer report and the release that supposedly fixes this particular issue.

Four months!!!

For a company selling expensive, specialised sim-racing hardware, how is that remotely acceptable?

This is not some obscure third-party compatibility issue. We are talking about Fanatec's own application, designed specifically to manage Fanatec's own hardware.

Customers should not have to troubleshoot PowerShell scripts, investigate failed recovery processes, or spend hours researching software problems just to use equipment they have already paid a substantial amount of money for.

What makes this especially frustrating is the lack of confidence it creates. Every software update should improve the experience, not introduce another potential problem that prevents customers from using their equipment normally.

When customers pay premium prices, they have every right to expect premium support and reliable software.

Corsair's ownership of Fanatec should come with greater accountability, better quality assurance, and a more dependable customer experience.

I would genuinely like Fanatec and Corsair to answer the following:

1. Why did a problem involving the application's PowerShell recovery process persist for months after being publicly reported?

How did this issue get through software testing in the first place?

2. Why are customers expected to troubleshoot problems introduced by the software intended to support their equipment?

3. What measures are being implemented to prevent future updates from disrupting previously working hardware?

4. How does Fanatec intend to rebuild customer confidence in its software reliability and technical support?

I invested in Fanatec equipment because I expected a high-quality sim-racing experience. That makes this situation even more disappointing. Excellent hardware means very little when the software required to manage it becomes a source of constant frustration.

Fanatec and Corsair need to take these problems seriously, communicate more transparently, and demonstrate that customers who have invested heavily in their ecosystem actually matter.

At this price point, customers should not have to fight with the manufacturer's own software just to enjoy sim racing.

This is unacceptable, and Fanatec needs to do better!
