My account was suspended because they said that my database with sensitive information was accessible to anyone. I wasn’t aware of this and didn’t know how to protect it. I was not able to get all my other projects. They refused to provide them. Fortunately I had a copy on GitHub. So I started to build some projects with Lovable. OMG, it’s light again dark. Lovable is 10 times better to use, no need to repeat what you need and the must is that if there’s a security issue they displays it and fix it! So no risk for your projects. Thank you base44 for suspending my account otherwise I would never find better than you.

Very disappointing AI. It often does not follow my instructions correctly. Sometimes I ask it to remove one feature, but other parts are affected or the result becomes worse. I then have to ask it to start again from scratch before it works properly.

The whole process is very slow and frustrating. The AI should understand instructions better and complete the requested changes accurately without so many repeated attempts.

I tried base44 for 2months and subscribed to their subscriptions, after I tried and tested it I found it wasn't for me. What I mission to cancel the subscription, after I managed to cancel it, they still and went to deduct money from my account. When I questioned it, dead silence. No refund, no apology nothing. All you get is a robot, no one is ever available that you can speak to. Don't trust it. They are crooks!!!!

Drake and Robert both brought such an immersive experience together that gave me the insight I needed to learn more about Base44. These types of support and learning sessions are critical when someone in their later years wants to reinvent themselves with a first step in app development and doesn’t have the astronomical budgets and intense background to create apps. Base 44 has changed my life and perspective of what I can achieve and I plan to continue to invest into Base44 as my trusted tool to bring my ideas and vision to fruition.

Good website builder but horrific support when something goes wrong. I've built the site and quickly but trying to transfer ownership to another user is like learning quantum physics, michellin star cooking and mount everest climbing all at once. Terrible support, they just keep telling you to do the same thing over again that never actually works, avoid...

I've used Base44 to build many web apps, real products, MVPs, and a bunch of experiments along the way.
What I appreciate most is how easy it is to go from an idea to something actually working, without getting bogged down in setup or infrastructure.
One thing that's been a real plus: AI features are built in without needing separate subscriptions for them. That's made it much easier to experiment freely instead of worrying about stacking up extra costs every time I want to try something new.
Overall a smooth, low-friction way to build and iterate quickly.

Platform full of errors — no refund, no product, no accountability
I subscribed to Base44 on June 23 and upgraded the next day, paying a total of approximately $50. Within two days, the platform was producing constant errors that made it impossible to complete or use my app.
I contacted support multiple times — around six emails — explaining the situation and requesting a full refund. Their response? A partial refund of $22.45, citing their "non-refundable" terms.
What makes this worse: when I accepted the cancellation, my entire project was deleted. I lost the work AND the money. I received absolutely nothing functional in return.
As an EU-based customer (Spain), I am protected under EU Directive 2011/83/EU — the right to withdraw within 14 days. Base44 ignored this completely.
I have now filed a formal dispute with my bank and reported the case to the relevant EU consumer protection authorities.
Selling to EU customers means respecting EU law. Base44 does not.
Avoid this platform if you value your time, your work, and your money.

Best AI website making app. Really recommend using this. But it can be a bit expensive to upgrade your plan :/

I did a little app so that my girlfriend would go to the valentine with me I did it with one promt and did it great and cute.

The first and the best vibe coding product there is in the market today , highly recommended!

The team provided Excellent customer service and always supported me with the suggestions and solutions.

Make it impossible for you to cancel. The account. I am a relatively technical person and I cannot work it out. Have followed supports instruction but option is not there
