I would have liked to give a Zero for this company. I ordered 2 dresses but didn’t receive any confirmation or tracking number. A payment was taken out of my account so I read up on Facebook about the company supposedly in Manchester but actually in China. Grace & Oliver is a trading name of Eight E-Commerce LLC, registered at 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, Wyoming, USA. I rang my bank to start a chargeback claim and they told me that future payments were arranged to be taken from my account. This company must be stopped.

False adverts it read manchester boutique would be delivered by Royal Mail,ordered Salina Ergonomic sandals when they eventually arrived they were very poor quality nothing liked they advertise. Been trying to get a form to return them, they said i would have to pay £6.00 postage to return them, they offered 10%off the cost then20% off i refused then offered credit voucher for 100% i refused. I have been back and forwards with emails come back with excuses, the company is scamming people do not buy from this company.

Ordered 2 pairs of sandals. Took ages to arrive and then were very poor quality and fit. One pair were advertised as burnt orange leather, but we're actually bright pink and very poor fit. The other pair were extremely flimsy material and again awful fit.

Asked to return them, for a full refund, as advertised on the website. Was told it will cost £20-40 per pair to return them overseas and was offered £6 to keep them.


I checked the return policy before I ordered and the company advertised itself as being in Manchester so I thought return costs would be around £5.

Said I wanted a full refund as per the returns policy and do not want £6 and will not pay the shipping overseas.

Have chased as I haven't received an email back. A week later I still have not heard back.

Total scam.

DON'T ever buy from this company, complete con, plastic soles and rubbish upper, nothing like the pictures of beautiful sandals. Won't even bother to apply for refund , lesson learnt 😡😡😡😡😡

Delivery took two weeks and the sandals were of poor quality. LIke others I wish I had read the reviews first. Given the comments about refunds I will keep them but don't expect to get much wear out of them.

1 star for delivery updates - 10 for quality of boots and response to return request. Don't Buy From This Supposedly Clothes Footwear Company BIG SCAM.
Anyone ever had a refund?
Surely if everyone that has fallen for this Scam got together something would have to be done? Regarding refunds surely it's money taken by false pretensives?

It’s a scam. I ordered sandals valued at £125 but with a big sale refund. As in £sterling and stating in Manchester I went ahead but when they arrived the sandals were awful quality and I asked for a refund. They required a photo of the unworn sandals (and their packaging for some reason) before I could return them. They have now offered me a 10% refund and said to wear the rubbish sandals- for them to keep 90%.
AVOID THIS USA BASED COMPANY.

I have emailed a few times about returning and for me to receive a full refund which they have ignored my request and keeping offering me offer which i do not want so I very disappointed with this company

Same as others have reported- the order was unsuitable and are being unhelpful in ordering a return and refund.
Do not order from this company! I am reporting them to trading standards. I have remained polite when messaging them but keep getting fobbed off. Emailed again for the 8th time. Dreadful service.

This company is a scam. The dress I bough was supposed to be over £200 reduced to just over £40. When I saw it it was such poor quality, nothing like its supposed value. It had no brand label and no laundry instructions. I know I’m short but it was down to the ground on me. They offered a replacement and didn’t want the original back. No point in getting more tat.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Took ages to arrive which should have made me suspicious when I thought the shirt and sandals I had ordered were coming from Manchester or the UK at the least. The sandals came squashed in a tiny bag and looked nothing like the pictures on Facebook. They looked cheap, plastic and not well made. I tried one on and it looked and felt awful. Off to the charity shop with them as I can’t be bothered to try and get a refund. The shirt too looked nothing like its picture but at least it’s wearable but dread what it will look like after the first wash. This is a buyers beware warning - do not be taken in by this company’s swish look on FB and the too good to not buy sales.

The sandals arrived 02/09/26. Supposed to be burnt orange in color but where a horrible pink color and looked nothing like those that were advertised. Supposed to be reduced from £124 to £24.95 I have my doubts

Unbelievable.....I trusted this company because Trustpilot had them with a 4- 5 star rating!! They are a total rip-off. I bought two pairs of the "ergonomic" ladies sandals -- supposedly reduced from £125... each .They are made of a flimsy material and ill-fitting. The company said (when I inquired) they would handle any returns - beautifully written email............ABSOLUTELY no word from them since I've write numerous times to try to return these. I am glad to see the rating is dropped now....but seems it is too late! This is a total fraud and rip-off website. Nothing "British" about them except the location name. How can those of us who have lost money do something to get our money back now????

I am feeling extremely frustrated with customer services of this company as well as the quality of the items.
After my first complaint re them not responding to my refund request, I had a response (just on trust pilot) asking me to send them the order no and my previous e-mails to company which I have done . Still waiting and still no response so I have added my order no in here as well hoping they take action on it.

Assumed it was a British company but it is not - made and exported from China!

Good info provided on delivery.
However sandals were not of quality expected - comfy base but plastic uppers have a cheaper finish - I can’t believe they were ever sold at higher price.
Probably worth £20 but not bargain I anticipated and not certain how well they will last so disappointed with purchase and lesson learnt about Facebook adverts!!

Poorly made dresses in a cheap material that did not resemble the advertised garment. Currently I am to return the items and get a refund but only a small percentage has been offered.
Came from China not a good quality manufacturer. Lesson learnt!

Do not deal with this company - cheap and shoddy products bearing no resemblance to photos delivered very slowly from china - no response when asked for return details and a refund. Fingers burnt.

Only given 1 because I could not give zero. This is an absolute scam. The shoes pictured were absolutely not what I got. The returns process is not a process at all as you are never given a returns address. The sandals supplied were probably made in China for about a pound. Disgraceful.

You have replied to the review and asked me to respond. I have asked for a returns address and refund. But guess what …. No response. 😡

The dresses are not of the quality I expected from the advertisement. Now I am offered a refund of just 15% but the good news is that I don't have to return the dresses I don't like and don't fit me , yay 😀. I hope others read this and don't buy off the website as I did.

Absolute scam. The dress was a cheap photographic print on nylon material. DON’T be fooled by the photos. The guaranteed refund is a joke. They offer you a very small percentage of the original cost ( 12-15%) and keeping the clothes or, a refund if you pay to send the goods back to China and accept that - in their own words - it might take a considerable time. Please don’t purchase from this company. A smart website with lovely photos is a mirage.
