$ 1,132.96 spent on my card on someone else’s account

Unfortunately found out my card information had been swiped and added to another users uber account to which they processed $ 1,132.96 over the span of a few months without me noticing. I informed uber after I finally noticed an unrecognized charge and they investigated it.

After their investigation they informed me they had removed my card from the individuals account, blocked his account, and had processed a full refund in the amount of $ 1,132.96 on Aug 08 2026.

It is now Sep 06 2026 and I’ve yet to receive the refund, even though on multiple occasions they confirmed the refund was processed and I just needed to wait.

Upon trying to reach out to them at this point they are acting as if nothing ever happened and they have no record of any of this. They keep requesting the card information that the fraudulent purchases occurred on (which I provided in the initial investigation on 08AUG), but as anyone with any common sense I’ve removed that card from my bank account and have been issued a new card. So of course I no longer have access to that cards information that they are requesting.

Unfortunately it seems they’ve lied to me and are acting as if “they don’t know” what occurred or what’s going on.

Driver smelled of pot and Uber locked my account

Booked a ride for my 18 year old son but the driver thought he was underage and cancelled the ride. Was thankful though because my son later told me that the driver smelled of pot. I complained to Uber and what did they do? They charged me a $5.25 cancellation fee and locked my account. There’s no recourse to dispute the charge when your account is locked. I’ve been an Uber user for years and that’s the way they treat customers when they bring up safety and customer service concerns.

We’ve had more than multiple issues with Uber…

We’ve had multiple issues with Uber Eats, especially with paid Priority Delivery. It’s presented as a way to have your order delivered directly to you, yet multiple drivers have told us we were not their first delivery when we asked why our food was taking so long. What exactly are we paying extra for?

Then came our latest pizza order. The driver arrived at our house and sat outside for about five minutes. We finally messaged to ask whether everything was okay. He told us Uber had routed him directly to our house without him picking up our pizza, and he was talking to technical support.

After roughly another ten minutes of communication, he said support would contact us and that he would cancel the order. Instead, the order was marked delivered. We received absolutely nothing.

We contacted support, who initially refused a refund because the order showed as delivered. We had to specifically ask them to read our messages with the driver. After reviewing those messages, they refunded the food and issued a credit for the tip, but left the service charge unrefunded. Apparently, we’re still expected to pay a service fee for an order that never arrived.

We followed up asking for the remaining refund and a credit for the experience. After leaving us waiting approximately four or five days, support responded that we weren’t eligible because we hadn’t contacted them within 48 hours.

We had already contacted them, they had already reviewed the evidence, and they had already issued a partial refund. Their own support history documents this.

Now we’re stuck repeating the same explanation instead of getting the remaining charge refunded. Mistakes happen. But failing to deliver the food, marking it delivered, keeping part of our money, and then denying our follow-up based on a deadline we didn’t miss is completely unacceptable.

A dubious uber driver in Bradford

An Uber driver just played smart on me few minutes ago and all effort to review his evil act proved abortive. I booked a trip from Bradford BD3 to Huddersfield HD1 this driver picked the trip and told me to meet him at Yorkshire vet which was adjacent the place where I booked the uber. I thought probably he was coming from Leeds and didn’t want to turn round again to pick me up , I went to Yorkshire vet to wait for him only for this driver not to show up. After which it shows arrived on my app I call him immediately only for this dubious driver to cut off the phone. My advice for any one booking Uber in Bradford is that if a driver advices you to meet him in a new location decline straight away that is the new tactic they use now. I have had this experience twice this month now. Avoid been scam.

Driving for Uber is terrible as a…

Driving for Uber is terrible as a matter of FACT all gig jobs are terrible. I was deactivated back in June 8, 2026. They told me I was speeding and driving reckless as the passenger lied. So I appealed with UBER and yes I did try to show them my dash cam but for whatever reason they denied me permanently didn’t at least get a chance to show them my dash cam. Later I tried to sue through legal aide even legal aide denied to help me and said it was a waste of time because I live at a state at will in Texas. Lawsuite would have been $20,000.00 that had really would have helped. So I let it go and did nothing. It’s not like I have the money to pay for an attorney or lawyer. I don’t do any of the gigs DoorDash, roadie, uber, Uber Eats, instacart, sparks,Lyft because the way I look at it is what if the next GIG JOB decides to screw me over. Tired of the way my vehicle is disrespected the vomits and open container people shooting at my suv and the COPS do nothing. I’m also tired of that I live in Corpus Christi Texas and the job market is crap. Sept 5th, 2026 Saturday decided to check out DoorDash and the market is crap. They wanted to pay me $2.75 for a 15 mile drive. No wonder I refuse to drive to Austin, Texas to drive three hours just to put more maintenance work on my car, the is terrible. So I went back to having a w-2 job best decision ever.

First time using Uber

First time using Uber. My husband our two friends and myself went on a 4 day cruise.
Didn't want to rely on public transport and our daughter couldn't drop us off at the cruise terminal.
So she downloaded the app onto my phone.
Showed me how to use app.
Easy peezy as.
Both drivers who picked us up were excellent.
Will be using this app again to get around.
Thanks

DO NOT LOAD MONEY ONTO YOUR UBER…

DO NOT LOAD MONEY ONTO YOUR UBER ACCOUNT!!! They will take money off your balance and claim it’s for a service you never received. They charged me $128 for a “cancelled” service, which was actually received and less than $20. When I spoke with VAN, the chat agent, I was advised “they” consider the trip “legitimate.” I couldn’t care less what “they consider” legitimate. Why was over $100 deducted from my account

Two Hours, No Food, and Everyone Passed the Blame

Two Hours, No Food, and Everyone Passed the Blame

Absolutely unacceptable experience.

I placed a delivery order directly through Olive Garden's website. After waiting more than two hours, I still had no food.

The original Uber driver picked up my order from Olive Garden and never delivered it. My driver then suddenly changed. When the second driver arrived at the restaurant, he was told the first driver had already picked up my food, so there was nothing for him to deliver.

I called the Tupelo Olive Garden and spoke directly with the manager. Instead of resolving an order that I placed and paid for through Olive Garden's own website, I was told I had to call Uber.

So I called Uber and sat on hold trying to fix it. Uber then told me that because I ordered directly through Olive Garden, Olive Garden Customer Support had to handle it.

Olive Garden Customer Support was already closed.

So after more than two hours, I had no dinner, no immediate refund, and had been bounced from Olive Garden to Uber and then right back to Olive Garden.

I understand that Olive Garden cannot control everything an Uber driver does. What they CAN control is how they take care of their customer afterward. I ordered and paid Olive Garden directly. Being told by the restaurant manager to deal with Uber, only for Uber to tell me Olive Garden has to handle it, is ridiculous.

Mistakes happen. How a business handles those mistakes is what matters, and tonight neither company took responsibility for fixing the problem.

Twice in a row I have tried to order…

Twice in a row I have tried to order food through uber just to recieve a message that says "order failed" an hour after ordering. Uber has terrible customer service and when something goes wrong they prove they dont care about their customers. Even reporting an issue IS AN ISSUE. What a shame a wealthy company such as uber should have better customer service and higher standards. Door dash for the win.

UBER EATS NEW SCAM

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN CANCELLING AN UBER EATS ORDER. I WAS CHARGED DESPITE BEING TOLD THERE WOULD BE NO FEE ! AND I HAVE EVIDENCE OF THIS TO SUPPORT THIS ENTIRE ORDEAL

I would strongly advise customers to be extremely careful when cancelling an Uber Eats order.

I placed an order for £23.98 and contacted Uber Eats to cancel it. Before cancelling, I specifically checked whether I would be charged a cancellation fee. Uber Eats explicitly confirmed that there was no charge to cancel the order at that time. I therefore proceeded with the cancellation based on the information provided to me by their customer service.

Despite this, I was subsequently charged the full amount and Uber Eats is now claiming that the restaurant had already started preparing the order.

This is particularly frustrating because the initial communication from Uber Eats stated that “right now there is no charge to cancel the order”, Which is why I quickly went to cancel the order… which is completely inconsistent with the explanation I was later given.

I have contacted customer support to dispute the charge, but I feel customers should be aware of this situation. If Uber Eats tells you that you can cancel an order without a cancellation fee, make sure you keep screenshots of the conversation, because you may later be charged regardless.

For £23.98, this may not seem like a huge amount to a company like Uber, but it is the principle. Customers should be able to rely on what they are explicitly told by customer support.

Very disappointing experience and I would urge Uber Eats to review this matter and refund the £23.98 charge which they are refusing to do.

Uber customer service failure

It is regarding the total failure of Uber’s global customer service architecture. Following a severe billing discrepancy during a trip abroad, I attempted to use the support channels in my app to request a standard manual review, only to be completely stone-walled by automated software. As a UK resident with a UK-downloaded and UK-based account, I expected reliable consumer protection from a global brand. However, because I had requested fare adjustments three times in the recent past, an automated bot immediately locked my support ticket. It issued a generic, hard-coded response stating that due to my account's historical threshold, they are flatly refusing to look into my case or let me speak to a human manager. Even though I provided clear, irrefutable reference trip data straight from my own account history to prove the billing error, the system automatically blocked any avenue of appeal. The ultimate source of frustration here is the absolute inability to resolve a clear, documented issue with a massive multinational corporation. By hiding behind rigid automated bot algorithms and rigid account restrictions, a giant global company like Uber completely strands its international customers with zero recourse when something goes wrong. I demand that a human compliance supervisor from the global team overrides this automated block, reviews my account logs, and addresses this unacceptable breakdown in customer care.
