Cannot get a person when there’s an issue with your order. Also cannot get reliable delivery service. Cannot report a security concern. The app has a button for that, but you can’t get a person.

Worst delivery for food EVER..
Worst delivery for food EVER... I didn't want to give a star they dont even deserve that but had to put something.. spent £60 on food to put it all in the bin as was far too cold to eat, the delivery drivers should only have 1 order at a time not multiple, and mine was in no rush at all took an hour to deliver then had a slow walk to my property as I watched her..no bag to keep the food hot. They really let down the good restaurants. I hope she and uber step on a lego 😠
Food arrived 1hr late
Food arrived 1hr late, cold, and on support you get knocked back and messed around. Their eventual solution, as always, is they can’t provide a refund.
Crooks.
Use a different delivery service
My order is constantly wrong, late, or cold. The customer service is terrible!! Absolutely no empathy or compassion, no type of compensation for lack of communication or quality. There is hardly anyone verbally available to speak with. The fact that they take ur money even if nothing gets delivered and you have to wait 3-7 business days to get it back is inhumane. They need to shut it down
For the 3rd time on a work trip Uber…
For the 3rd time on a work trip Uber eats delivery driver STOLE my order. This last time which was October 8th the driver marked my order delivered and I was waiting at the hotel entrance. The vehicle described for the driver never showed up and of course I received no food. I requested a refund for the food and the tip and did not receive a refund for the tip. Three weeks later while reviewing my corporate expenses I noticed there was no refund for the tip. Contacted Uber eats for my refund and while chatting that refunded the tip as an Uber credit, while I'm telling them it has to go back to the corporate card. The agent then tells me it can't be refunded to my card which is a lie because Uber has refunded my tip to the card before... on another stolen food order. I'm definitely done with Uber!! They have made it where you can't talk to anyone only a bot, no way to email or call for complaints. This is done on purpose and I'm absolutely sure a lot of people have lost money because it's too frustrating to deal with crap you have to go through to get your issues resolved!
I live in rural Twiggs County
I live in rural Twiggs County, Georgia, and my experience with Uber Eats has been hit or miss. I’ve had an order arrive with no problem, but I’ve also had multiple orders canceled because nobody picked them up. I understand that drivers may be harder to find out here. My problem is how Uber Eats handles it when they accept your order and can’t get it to you on time.
On November 4, I ordered from Cracker Barrel around 5:49 p.m. The app showed 7:40 p.m. as the latest arrival time. A driver was assigned and then dropped the order. While the app was still looking for another driver, I asked to cancel. Support told me I’d have to pay $51 because the restaurant had already started making my food. So my choices were to pay $51 or keep waiting without knowing when I’d get dinner.
Another driver eventually took the order and had other stops before mine. I kept watching the estimated arrival move from 8:00 to 8:30 to 8:50 and eventually to 9:29 p.m. When I contacted support again, I was still told I’d have to pay to cancel. What made it worse was being asked, “Is there anything else I can help you with?” while I was still trying to get help with the same problem. It felt dismissive.
After more than three hours and three chats, Uber Eats offered me 25% off if I kept waiting or a full refund if I canceled. I took the refund. I’m glad they finally refunded me, but I shouldn’t have had to ask three times for that option. I don’t have a car, so picking up the food myself wasn’t an option. I was counting on that delivery for dinner.
Uber Eats should have a clear way to cancel without a fee when it can’t find a driver or the order runs well past the latest delivery estimate. You might have better luck in Macon, Warner Robins, or Dublin, but based on my experience in Twiggs County, I wouldn’t recommend relying on Uber Eats for dinner in a rural area.
Missing order from Uber Eats
On the 24th of October, I placed an order through Uber Eats worth £26.15. As a university student living in Nottingham, this is a significant amount of money for me, and I expected to receive the food I had paid for.
Unfortunately, when my order arrived, I quickly realised that I had received the wrong order. I immediately tried calling the delivery driver, but his number did not go through, despite only a few minutes having passed since the delivery. I also sent him a message, but received no response.
Extremely frustrated and left with no food, I had no choice but to go down to the physical McDonald’s store and purchase my food again. When I explained the situation to the staff, I was informed that they could not issue a refund because the order had been placed through Uber Eats.
I therefore contacted Uber Eats through the Help section and was reassured that my case would be reviewed within 48 hours. Based on this information, I was under the impression that my complaint would be investigated and that I would receive a refund. However, 48 hours passed, and I received no refund or satisfactory update.
When I contacted Uber Eats again, I was repeatedly told that nothing could be done because the 48-hour refund window had passed. I find this extremely frustrating and unfair, especially considering that I had initially contacted Uber Eats within the required timeframe and was specifically told that my case would be reviewed within 48 hours.
I have even provided evidence to support my complaint, including screenshots showing that I attempted to contact the delivery driver on the day of delivery, as well as proof of the additional payment I made when I had to purchase my food again directly from McDonald’s.
What frustrates me the most is that I followed the correct procedure, raised the issue immediately, provided evidence when requested, and trusted the information given to me by Uber Eats, only to be told later that nothing could be done.
As a university student, every penny matters. Spending £26.15 on food that I never received, and then having to spend even more money to purchase another meal, is incredibly disappointing. It is even more upsetting to feel that my concerns and evidence have been completely disregarded.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the way this situation has been handled. I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply want a refund for an order that I paid for but never received.
I would appreciate it if Uber Eats could take another look at my complaint, properly review the evidence I have provided, and issue the full refund of £26.15. I believe this is the least I should expect as a paying customer.
First Time Ordering Food With Uber
First time ordering with Uber. Food arrived cold and wet due to the driver having multiple deliveries on board. Would not use again as when reported was told the food was delivered within an acceptable amount of time. It wasn't and was inedible.
Uber Eats’ customer service is a disgrace
Uber Eats’ customer service is an absolute disgrace.
My order arrived with an item missing, forcing me to place another order. Rather than resolving the issue properly, Uber Eats has subjected me to an endless cycle of repetitive responses, with no meaningful attempt to address my complaint.
What is particularly concerning is the apparent absence of any effective formal complaints or escalation procedure. Despite repeatedly requesting that my complaint be referred to a manager or senior supervisor, there seems to be no way to obtain a proper review.
It feels as though the system is deliberately designed to frustrate customers until they simply give up.
This raises serious questions about consumer rights and whether Uber Eats is meeting its obligations under UK consumer protection law.
I have now escalated my concerns to the Competition and Markets Authority because I believe this could reflect a much wider problem affecting consumers.
A company of this size should not be able to hide behind automated responses while customers struggle to obtain a fair resolution.
Avoid Uber Eats if you expect accountability, proper customer service or a meaningful complaints process.
Garbage service
Garbage service. They have outsourced fully to Indians who treat you like shit on chat and just brush you off and close the chat without helping. Absolute disgrace of "service".
My account was hacked on uber eat
My account was hacked on uber eat !
I can't access it, and they're telling me to log in to resolve the issue.
This problem has been going on for 5 weeks now.
So I filed a complaint with the CNIL.
They're not complying with GDPR laws.

Terrible, the driver Steven, picked up my order then drove to i believe a Marijuana dispensary and was in the parking lot for over 50 minutes....when he brought me my food it was so cold like he had it on top of his car during the delivery. Everything was ice cold and when I finally got ahold of uber eats to complain they said there was nothing they could do about it, ridiculous....dont order with this rip off of a delivery buisness if I could give a negative rating I would! Gave them 20 bucks for nothing in return. Im not going to eat hour old fast food thats cold. Uber eats you suck!
Ordered food for pickup
Ordered food for pickup, come to learn the Uber prices are incredibly inflated. I'd rather just have called instead of being stuck using this rediculous service. Never using them again.

Terrible
Terrible, drivers are always great in my experience but the “corporate machine” that runs it is an autonomous dgaf take your money and don’t care. Prices are higher - get that as they are middle men and profit must be made but when I received a totally wrong order and refused to accept it it took over an hour to resolve, during this time I called every number on the app/website and followed all procedures, I was even talking to the driver who had the wrong order and there was no way to resolve the issue, in the end the supermarket who had provided the wrong bag to the driver sorted it out and it arrived - I’d also paid for the faster £3.99 delivery, imagine trying to get that back! 😂🤦🏻
Anyway, I give up on all this terrible corporate BS where they track your data, sell you crap you don’t want and when you have a problem you can’t speak to anyone so just have to suck it up, be more organised and use Ocado so you never run out! That’s my plan anyway.
Peace and love peeps x
The customer service at UberEATS is terrible.
The customer service at UberEATS is terrible! I have used the two ways provided for accessing customer support: sending a message and using the chat feature. Both are nonresponsive and ineffectual for resolving problems. In my case, I was overcharged for my order. The next day I saw the charge on my account and immediately contacted UberEATS using the message option. It requires the user to pick from a list of problems. My specific issue wasn't listed but I chose the closest option. Naturally, the automated response didn't give an explanation for my particular problem. The same day, I responded with more details. When I hadn't gotten a response by the next day, I sent a message asking if anyone was working on a resolution - but never heard back. So the next day I tried using the chat option, which turned out to be even more frustrating. The first problem was that I was chatting with a robot who responded with automated responses, missing the details and nuances of my particular issue. I asked several times to speak with a human, but that never happened. The most infuriating problem, though, that the chat kept ending the session if I didn't immediately respond. The third time I logged on to a chat, I was asked for some information. I explained that it would take a few minutes for me to get, and I was told "take your time." When I returned about 2 minutes later, the session had been ended. I'm convinced that UberEATS makes communicating with them difficult to deter communications. They don't want to hear its customers' complaints or resolve our problems. I am a monthly subscriber to UberEATS and am generally satisfied with the food I receive from participating restaurants. But I'm seriously considering cancelling my subscription since I can't count on this company to truly value my patronage. The customer service at UberEATS is terrible! Shocking service
Shocking service, drinks drop through bag all over floor and up newly painted walls. Driver walks off with no apology and uber say its nothing to do with us!! What a great company
SCAMS & FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS
UE increases restaurants prices for their own benefit! Even the promos for BOGO free is false advertisement. It showed me a platter for $14.99 then the BOGO free was listed as $24.99!!!! I chat with multiple representatives who just transfer me, disconnect me or give me automated responses with absolutely no resolution. At least GRUBHUB adjusts accordingly & corrects their mistakes.
