Great central Lakes location of the caravan site, quiet place of the caravan's position and excellent staff relationships. The caravan itself (Elter standard) was just OK if a bit pricey (we lost out booking early!) but did have great hot water and heating. The restaurant is noisy with young families but the food (especially the steak strips) was excellent and good value and the staff managed by Mia very helpful.

I was asked by Trip.com to be precise about this complaint! My wife bought a discounted senior railcard on 14th November using a credit card. She then bought a return ticket to Manchester using Trip.com which requires the purchase of at least one ticket from them to activate the railcard. However, she discovered that the new railcard discount was not applied to this first ticket for which she paid the full price. As a result, the discount applied in purchasing the railcard was just about wiped out! If the ticket had been more expensive, buying the railcard from Trip.com would have been more expensive than buying it without the Trip.com discount!
