Excellent service Very helpful staff

Lovely atmosphere in the store. The staff are all delightful and extremely helpful, obviously happy in their jobs.
Liz , the optometrist , is 1st class. Wouldn’t go to anyone else.

The whole family came in and had eye tests (sat 19.07.26) . It was so nice to come in and see friendly relaxed staff. The staff were excellent and helpful. We saw two different opticians and both were fantastic, listened and discussed our needs. The lady who took photos of our eyes was brilliant, kind patient and friendly. Hannah who helped us with our glasses was amazing. She helped us find what we needed, explained everything clearly and was just what we needed, that morning. Honestly I cannot rate the service, staff and welcome highly enough!

Everybody concerned were polite ,friendly and helpful. The optician was really good at explaining problems and friendly and patient.

Had to wait 35mins beyond appointment time. Staff were polite and responsive. I found that the costs of the variety of things were not easily available. Only when I was charged £700 for one pair of glasses did I wonder what exactly was i paying for . Even the receipt was uninformative, simply saying £160 for frame and £540 for lenses. Spec savers provide you with a printed detailed list of prices as well as giving you your prescription details . I received none of these from you. The person who examined my eyes did a thorough job and explained all the variety of options re lenses etc but not costings. Delivery date was lengthy and vague. Hope the glasses when they arrive are worth the wait. Stewart

They spend the time required to answer questions and and have the patience to listen to your concerns.Very efficient team at this branch.

I popped into Vision Express in Clapham today to have my glasses adjusted. The young lady who attended to my request was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my glasses were adjusted. Thank you so much. Wonderful customer service

Huge thanks to Anjur (apologies if I’ve misspelled) in the Gillingham Tesco branch.

I was told I needed a contact lens aftercare check as the reason for my contact lens being stopped for delivery. Turned out I also needed an eye test but the person who booked me in never told me that.

Anjur explained the issue, and completed the eye care check. She also kindly gave me some lenses as a gesture of goodwill to tide me over until my delivery (which is in a few days) and made sure the delivery would still happen. I’ve got to go back for the eye test within 2 weeks but I really appreciated her help and resolution.

The eye check up was excellent and having discovered I needed new lenses I spoke with Rob, in the shop, who was wonderfully helpful - he was able to explain what sort of frame size and shape could work well with a thicker lens. He was really patient and kind. A real asset to the Vision Express brand
