I went into staples to use FedEx. The store clerk that was there was so unhelpful and not a bit friendly. I had to print a label there first, and had never done that. I was confused and found another... See more

I recently ordered postcards from this company, but my order was printed incorrectly. I placed a second order hoping the issue would be resolved, but they made another mistake (by missing the few letters) and my order was wrong again. I requested a refund and have not heard back from them since. Very disappointing experience, after two trips to the store and wasting my time on creating postcards on two separate occasions.

Placed an order for pick-up of a few…
Placed an order for pick-up of a few simple items which Staples website said they had in store (Donald St., Ottawa) - 6 hours later, still waiting for confirming email that order ready. Called the store twice, butr long phone tree, then to try to speak to associate, just rings and rings, message that no one available. A service to make shopping more convenient, does the opposite.
Do not use this location for shipping…
Do not use this location for shipping packages. I dropped off a package here, it was scanned, and then it never left the store. What followed was a frustrating customer service nightmare. I couldn’t get help through FedEx, and I was also told by a FedEx employee that there’s a history of packages going missing here, even as far back as January of this year. Lululemon thankfully had great customer service and resolved things on their end, but I would strongly warn others to avoid shipping here. Extremely disappointing and untrustworthy.
Waste of time
Would not recommend. Was there to get an enlargement. They could not do it. I was fine with that. I had a fax to be sent. I was shown were to fax and told the cover sheets were in a black bin. No sheets. Was told that they had to download and print it. I waited for over a half hour. It was a steady flow of customers. My issue is my time was wasted. After our long wait we were told that the chat group has not responded. At any point I could of been told they did not have access to print. I would of come back at a later time. But instead my time was wasted.
Another useless website/ store
Another useless website/ store that promises the sun and the moon but comes up way short on actual results. First off their website is from the stone age! It won't actually show the delivery details using a mobile device unless you switch it to "view desktop layout". Gosh, I didn't realize that mobile phones were such a new invention that they didn't have time to code their own website properly. I did an online order and the estimate for delivery has come and gone. I guess I'll have to see if I can cancel it because it hasn't even been shipped or given a tracking number. Definitely would not order from these clowns again.
Never use this place again. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had
I'm about to lose my mind with these people. Virgin store in Sardis BC sold me a phone. Told me I had to use one of two providers, Virgin or Bell. I tried Virgin.
I made sure I wanted my auto payment coming out on the first of each month, guy at Staples said ok, no problem. Then two weeks later, the 18th, Virgin took 69.45 from my account. I didn't have it, I'm a senior. No extra cash lying around. My bank charged me 10.00 overdraft fee. Also the service with Virgin was really bad. Got ahold of the fellow at Staples, told him what happened. He asked me to come in. This too us not easy. It's an hour and a half each way, ad I am in a rural area and don't drive anymore. Finally found someone to take me, got there and my little friend didn't start for another 3 hours. Something he neglected to tell me. Most assume if you work that day it's 9-5, nope he started at 3. So I need to explain everything to someone else. He put me with Bell, saying it would be better. Bell just took my monthly payment two weeks early 75.37. Same thing with Bank, plus Bell has a fee if 30.00 so now Staples has cost me 50.00.Fifty I do not have. Do you think I am getting anything resolved. NOPE, RUDE, EXCUSES KEEP SEEMING TO FORGET IT IS NOT EASY FOR ME TO GET THERE., AND THEY KEEP SAYING TO CONE IN. BUT STILL INSIST ALSO THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FEES. COMMON DENOMINATOR IS STAPLES. YES, THEY MOST CERTAINLY ARE. DO I THINK I WILL GET MY 50.00 BACK? ABSOLUTELY NOT. NOW I MUST FIND A NEW PROVIDER, BUT NEED TO GO WITHOUT A PHONE UNTIL I CAN MAKE UP THE 50.00 THAT THEY COST ME. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN 70 YEARS OF LIFE.
The rating is really 0 stars
It really is 0 stars. The service is extremely slow. My order clearly got lost in transit and they won't do anything about it. They say I have to go in person to get a refund. Do not consider Staples for orders of photo printing. There are much better options out there.

I created a banner online and went to pick it up and the staff took forever to attend to me and then they couldn’t even find my order. Very SLOW service!!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
No accountability. They don't answer their phones. they ignore you in store. they don't adhere to their committed delivery dates.
REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.
Staples on its last legs?…
This my 3rd year in a row looking to buy hundreds of dollars worth of classroom supplies from Staples in Victoria Canada. The last 2 years, I walked in, loaded up my baskets, and effortlessly got my 10-15% discount by simply providing my school-based email address. This week, I went through the same routine, gave them my email, but NO DISCOUNT! NO-ONE at the store could help me. The next day, I went online and re-registered, using the very same info. The website clearly indicated "You're in!" I also checked old emails and found a a similar reply from 2 years ago: "You’re In! Welcome to the Staples Teacher Membership Program." So I went back to the store with the supplies I had bought, expecting to finally get the discount. WRONG! I got the multiple quests routine from the manager, blah-blah-blah! Meanwhile, I had experienced NOT A SINGLE GLITCH OR QUESTION from ANY cashier in my previous pourchases going back 2 full years! So I proceeded to return all 38 items I had bought for a refund, and then walked out of Staples for the VERY LAST TIME. STAPLES SUCKS!
Shopping for an Office Chair!
I'm in the market for an office chair so I visited my Staples location in Woodstock, Ontario. They had a huge selection and within a minute or two one of the sales representatives asked if he could help me. His name was Dax and he was very patient as I went from chair to chair trying to decide the best option. He wasn't at all pushy but was extremely helpful asking me pertinent questions to help me narrow down my choices. It was a very pleasant experience!
The girl named Katie at the photos…
The girl named Katie at the photos depth. At 4.30pm Aug. 2nd, should be rewarded for her super excellent helpful with a smile throughout my visit helping, helping me with my photos orders she was sooo amazing.....
Horrendous online service
Horrendous online service. I purchased a macbook pro from the online site for pick up, but the website is extremely buggy and horribly made so when i made the payment it came out as delivery. Then literal minutes later I called to see if I can change it to pick up, and I cannot, minutes later!!. Then I thought ok, I will just cancel the order. Nope, can’t do that either. So I can’t have it changed to pick up (which cant be difficult to do at all), and I cant cancel my order minutes after ordering.
At that point its my fault for choosing staples. Whoever you are…best buy Walmart, and Amazon should always be your first choice if you want to order delivery or pickup, DO NOT EVER make the mistake of choosing staples because let’s be honest, who does that anyway.
Also I forgot to mention… I cannot track my order. They have a page for tracking orders, I put down all the correct info and I made sure everything was correct and it says “no results found”. Just a sorry excuse of website with horrible customer and online service. I know most people come here after they have already been screwed, but if by the grace of god, you are here before choosing staples, DO NOT DO IT!!! Dont!!!.
Staples South Keys
This review is specific for the Staples on Bank street South Keys in Ottawa. We purchased 2 new Iphones and earphones, we were looking for a few weeks and had bad customer experiences (long waits for service, impatient service etc), this Staples served us with kindness and answered all our Gen X questions about the phones. I would highly recommend this staples. We did have a bad experience with other Staples though.
Poor customer service. Employees are not qualified for this job
Dear Customer Service,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received regarding my recent order for a self\-inking company stamp\.
Based on the advice of your Queen Street, Brampton store, I drove to your Mississauga location to place the order\. I spent approximately 30 minutes discussing my requirements with one of your employees, who assured me that the stamp would be ready the following day\. Based on that assurance, I proceeded with the order and paid **$126**\.
The next day, I did not receive any email, phone call, or update regarding my order\. When I called two days after placing the order, I was informed that my order had been processed as a **standard order**, which would take **5–6 days** to complete\.
This was extremely frustrating\. Had I been informed of the actual turnaround time at the time of placing the order, I could have made a different decision\. Instead, I relied on the information provided by your employee, only to find out later that the order had been entered incorrectly\.
As a result, I wasted my valuable time driving from Brampton to Mississauga, incurred fuel expenses, and experienced unnecessary inconvenience due to the lack of communication and poor customer service\.
I expect businesses to provide accurate information and process customer orders correctly\. I would appreciate an explanation of how this happened and what you intend to do to resolve this matter and prevent similar situations for other customers\.
I look forward to your prompt response\.
Sincerely,
Divyesh Raval
Staples delivery issues
This is an updated review concerning Staples delivery issues.
I ordered six steno notebooks online. Didn't realise that Staples uses a delivery outfit called TForce.
Delivery was scheduled three days in a row, package never arrived on any of those three days (July 22, 23, 24). Waited in all day, every day. No delivery.
Today (July 27) I received an online Q&A form asking me to rate my Staples experience. My rating was negative. For instance, a "0" rating for "Would you recommend Staples to friends or family."
In fairness, Staples responded almost immediately via email to inform me that the non-delivery issue was being "escalated". And within two hours the package had been delivered, not to me personally but dumped in my building's mail room. But at least it arrived!
So, clearly, Staples got on the case when customer dissatisfaction was expressed. Good for Staples. This is what a company should be doing in these matters.
However, there was a fair bit of frustration on my part, staying in all day for three days waiting for a scheduled delivery that never materialised.
I'll upgrade this review from one to two stars. I think that's about as fair as I can be.
Overnight delivery
Overnight delivery, one week nothing has arrived and when I call they say it is out for delivery and they can not cancel order or do anything about it
horrible
Website is Awful.
I spent a long time designing a business card on their website. I went to publish the design and it asks me to sign in again. I do and I'm at the home page, unable to find my design anywhere. So annoying. There is no way to see designs you've submitted even after you've paid and ordered the item. I also gave the website permission to view my location and it keeps asking every time I click something.

Got cell phone 42$ a month then 107.said they'd refund. Absolutely did not. Go somewhere else
Online Ordering System is BROKEN
So, I ordered some office supplies. I got an email saying my package would arrive June 30. It didn't. I clicked on the tracking number, was taken to a "Track & Trace" page but they found no record of a shipment with that tracking number. So I clicked the "Get in Touch" button which had a phone number. Someone from Fed Ex answered the phone, which was odd, because the email said that the carrier was Dynamex. The customer service person could find no trace of that order number and said she'd never heard of Dynamex.
I went to the Staples Website, logged in, went to the Look Up Your Order page and punched in the information This is where it gets even weirder. I got a "please enter valid order id" message. Checked the number; tried again, multiple times.
I googled the customer service number because it cannot be found on the website. Talked to a nice, competent person in the Philippines. The delivery company is T Force, not Dynamex or Fed Ex and they say they tried to deliver yesterday. Except, I'm in a condo and they did not call my buzzer code, which I supplied. The customer service person sent me correct tracking information and said she would tell TForce to use the buzzer code. Hopefully I will get my order.
But what the hell? Sending out incorrect tracking information and no record of the order in my account? This is way too much hassle to buy a couple boxes of pens.
