Hired Zoek thinking they could increase visibility for my website. I thought they were a little expensive but that it would be worth it in the end. After 9 month, I can say with certainty that they have not done that. Some secondary keywords have improved rankings but that’s it. The backlinks they create are weak. The perform the tasks they say they will every month, but it’s more them checking off boxes so they can say they did it rather than doing it the right way to improve your overall visibility. Regrettably, I’m stuck with them for another 3, months but I can’t wait to cancel with them. They are also extremely slow to make any requested changes to your website, no matter how small.

I am beyond frustrated with the service—or lack thereof—provided by Zoek Marketing and the complete lack of support from Bluevine.

The Issue with Zoek.com:
I paid Zoek $730.00 for a professional landing page and marketing strategy for my business. What followed was a series of unprofessional errors. First, I was sent a website link that wasn't even mine—it was a site built for me a year ago. This kind of incompetence is unacceptable when you are paying for "cutting-edge" service. When I tried to resolve this, the process was a headache, and I felt like my business goals were not a priority.

The Issue with Bluevine:
To make matters worse, my "bank," Bluevine, was absolutely useless in protecting me. I filed a dispute for this $730 transaction because the services provided were not what was promised. Bluevine sided with the merchant, claiming the service was "rendered" simply because Zoek threw together a template and sent me a link to an old project.

The Bottom Line:

Zoek Marketing is disorganized and provides subpar work for the price.

Bluevine offers zero actual protection for small business owners when a merchant fails to deliver.

Save your money and your sanity. Take your business to a marketing firm that knows what they are doing and a bank that actually stands behind its customers.

I have no experience in creating web sites. I needed to devleop a on line presence to market my novels. Zoek was very helpful.

I was new to developing a website from scratch and Zoek came up as a Wix suggested developer. This company claims to be web designers, but I ended up doing all the work. I chose their complete web design package...after over a month trying to work with them, I'm not sure what that package is. Nothing was custom, my account manager was unable to clearly describe the process, and it felt like a total scam. I spent hours of my time providing information, filling out questionnaires, giving feedback, and it was like they didn't look at any of it. It took them a month to provide anything, and it was a joke. They took my logo and splashed it on a few pages, adding colors and pictures that did not work together. No experienced business person would approve of the website they tried to pressure me into accepting. Before we started, in the initial questionnaire, I told them exactly what colors I wanted, gave them sample websites to look at--they couldn't have been any further from what I requested and it was obvious they did not look at the questionnaire or the other websites I recommended. It got to the point that I questioned whether or not they were an actual business - for real - that's how bad the experience was.
It was a total loss, cost me over $3k and a month of time - which is critical in a seasonal start-up.
I've hired another company create what I wanted for $700--and it took them 48 hours.
On a positive note, I learned a lot about how to develop a website, what to look for in a digital company, and what to avoid. After talking to several other digital marketing companies, and hiring two of them, I realized how bad they actually were.

We hired Zoek to optimize our Wix website because it wasn’t appearing in local Google searches, and we had no idea what content was needed for Google to properly index and rank it in surrounding towns. The salesman assured us they could handle everything under a 6-month contract which cost us $2190 and get our website, traction on the web. Instead, they sold us a basic service that only updated our Google Business Profile and added some backend keywords, while doing nothing to improve the visible content on our actual website. Four months and significant expense later, our site still lacks the proper content to work effectively with our business profile, and our visibility remains unchanged. When we pushed for answers, we learned the salesman had not sold us the right plan, never mentioned other available tiers, and has since left Zoek. Zoek offers no upfront site analysis for true beginners and provides no meaningful remedy — our only options now are to pay them $799 to design a completely new website or sign a much more expensive new contract just to add the needed content. Disappointed.

My experience with Zoek after paying over $3500 for the Core Plan on a 12‑month service plan was unsatisfactory and a waist of money. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and exhausting, and I would strongly recommend that prospective customers document everything and monitor billing closely or find a more reputable provider.
I expected basic professionalism: accurate billing, clear communication, and follow-through. My experience with Zoek was the opposite—too many delays, too little accountability, and an unresolved billing situation that created real stress.

I was charged $1,499 before signing any agreement. I declined in writing prior to signing and did not authorize services or billing. No contract was executed. The charge was still processed and has now been disputed.

Our organization engaged Zoek Marketing for website design services and paid in full based on time-based marketing representations.

After payment was made, we were provided with terms that included a strict no-refund policy that had not been disclosed beforehand.

When we attempted to resolve issues with the project and requested a refund, the request was denied.

This experience highlights the importance of fully reviewing all terms and conditions before making payment.
