Our experience with Zoek was very positive. John K gathered our requests for help in a redesign and made our website more attractive and user-friendly. We had a few glitches where our booking calendar went down during the work and a few instances where certain requests were resolved but other issues popped up, but John was very receptive to our feedback and worked hard to make sure we were happy with the end result. We are! Our work with Zoek was money well-spent.

1. Failure to Deliver Core Functionality
The primary purpose of hiring Zoek Marketing was to develop a functional website with a working booking system for our vacation rental business.

This was not achieved.

Despite multiple reports, escalations, and assurances between April 15 and April 27, 2026, the booking system:

Did not function correctly
Failed to enforce required booking rules
Created unreliable booking behavior for customers
A website that cannot accept bookings properly does not meet the basic requirements of the contracted service.

2. Misrepresentation of Platform Capabilities
Zoek repeatedly claimed that Wix Hotels:

Could not support 7-day minimum stays
Required restrictive workarounds
Was limited in functionality
These claims were later contradicted by Wix Support, who confirmed that the functionality does exist and can be properly configured.

Do not meet the requirement for direct booking capability
Shift additional costs to the client

As a direct result of Zoek Marketing’s failure to deliver the contracted service, we incurred measurable financial losses:

Zoek Marketing was recommended as a WIX partner, so I elected to go with them. The account executive Nate L. reached out to me on my initial correspondence with Zoek Marketing, laid out everything about the process, services, and associated costs. Initially up front it sounded like a great value for the services they were providing, comparing to other pricing. I signed up for a bundle package and was given $100 off that package price.
My next step was getting set up with an account manager Jason P. Jason then coordinated all resources (Web Designer, Graphics Design) and on-line templates to get things started. Once I settled on their initial template layout, we started the process of customizing the site to my particular liking. Their Graphics Design Team and I landed on a logo that fit out vision, and Andrian M took that initial logo and created a great looking font that again matched our vision. Emails between their team and I were responded to within the next day, and website changes only took a couple of days on average, allowing a timely review and modifications. Their packages are great for the services received, and support, with the optional renewal packages reasonably priced. For anyone wanting to get you site up and running quickly, without the hassle of trying to do it yourself, I highly recommend their team.

Sales rep will promise you the world and lie to your face about the service they provide. total payment for website was $2400 and to be paid in 1 year. after paying off site Zoek continued to take money from our company for an extra 5 months outside the agreed amount of the site. it takes over 2 weeks for them to do site edits and many site edits were ignored due to many different staff changes

I contracted Zoek Marketing on May 22, 2026 for a partial website redesign, including an $800 rush fee for delivery by June 11. The deadline was tied to a keynote presentation I was delivering to an audience of institutional investors in Los Angeles. The deadline was missed. The website was materially degraded under Zoek's exclusive development control. A $499 product build-out service was never delivered. When the rush fee was eventually refunded, it arrived short of the contractual amount.

What followed was a textbook dispute management playbook: post-hoc redefinition of contractual terms, blame displacement onto the client, incremental concession only when presented with documentary evidence that couldn't be refuted, and every acknowledgment characterized as goodwill rather than obligation. I documented twelve discrete inconsistencies in Zoek's own written communications.

This is worth understanding before you sign: Zoek is a repeat player. They draft the contracts, they manage disputes at scale, and they have a practiced response to every objection. As a newly formed one-person business, I was the one-time claimant they expect to accept a partial refund and go away. I didn't.

The matter is now before the Better Business Bureau and my card issuer. A forensic review of the Wix development logs is ongoing. Those logs confirm that all publishing activity during the development period -- including changes that degraded live site content -- was carried out exclusively by named Zoek personnel, directly contradicting Zoek's own written statements.

If you're a small business owner considering Zoek: get every fee defined in writing before you sign, get your delivery deadline in the contract, not just verbally, document everything and understand that the dispute process is designed to favor the repeat player, not you.

Zoek is absolutely horrible! I consulted them to redesign then home page for my nonprofit educational course. Their design team was awful and they never followed any of my instructions. My requests were modest and not particularly complex. I repeatedly emailed with requests to fix their preliminary draft, yet nothing was fixed. I finally cancelled their access to my Wix page, told them to stop all work. I paid the first half of the fee, even though their work was terrible. I was incensed though, when they invoiced my credit card for an additional $877 after I had cancelled the agreement (in writing). Now I have to contest the charge.

I don’t have any experience

My experience from start to finish and in continuation with the maintenance plan has been nothing short of spectacular! Kevin B, Jason O, and Luis C. have all been especially fantastic to work with and I was truly surprised how they were able to take my vision and all that I wanted for our website and brought it to life and then some. The processes, the edit rounds, and every aspect has been such a pleasure, and every step has happened with ease. I am so happy we chose Zoek, everything we need both now and the feature is here all under one roof, and I look forward to continuing our relationship with the company and the team as we continue to grow and scale our organization. scammers they lie lie lie and take your money

I was greatly appreciative for the immediate replies to my email emails and the attention to detail made when I asked for revisions on my project.

Met with John Kleopoulos and had a great conversation with him. He listened to me and we both came to several agreements regarding my company Great White Brews and from listening to him and the recommendations he talked about for my company, I think the partnership with Zoek is going to be beneficial to me and Zoek. The Zoek Team, including my account manager, Jason, is very knowledgeable about web-site design and WIX functionality. Jason is very good at breaking design and other steps down into non-technical language, i.e. less confusing to non-website customers. The Zoek team is also very responsive to change requests.

Do not trust Go Zoek under any circumstances. They are an absolute predatory scam operation that uses high-pressure tactics, refuses refunds, and will literally try to steal from your bank account after you cut ties with them.

Here is exactly how they operate to trap new business owners:

1. The Trap: How They Intercepted My Info
I submitted a request on Wix looking for help setting up a website for my new business. Somehow, Go Zoek intercepted my information and contacted me, claiming they were "recommended" by Wix. This is completely untrustworthy and deceitful behavior right from the start.

2. High-Pressure Sales & Fake Promises
Once they got my phone number, they called immediately, promising a highly impressive website.

The Pitch: They aggressively tried to force me to pay $2,500 right then and there over the phone.

The Price Drop: I declined. They immediately followed up via email and dropped the price to $2,000. Desperate to get my business launched, I stupidly accepted and paid through their website.

3. Three Months of Silence & Refusing Refunds
After taking my $2,000, they completely vanished. I waited three full months and received absolutely no website. When I realized I was being scammed, I requested a refund. They made themselves completely impossible to reach, avoided my messages, and flat-out refused to give me my money back. I had to go through a massive headache with my bank to file a dispute just to get my money recovered.

4. Credit Card Fraud & Stolen Details
The most terrifying part happened after I got my money back. Because I had used their website to make the initial payment, they secretly saved my credit card details. * They attempted an unauthorized, fraudulent charge of $1,600 on my card, claiming it was for "annual website maintenance" on a website they never even built! * Luckily, I caught it, blocked my card immediately, and had to get an entirely new one issued.

⚠️ FINAL VERDICT: Go Zoek is a fraudulent outfit that steals credit card data to make unauthorized charges. They need to be heavily sued, shut down, and investigated by the FBI for corporate cyber-theft and fraud. For the love of God, do not give them your phone number, your email, or your credit card. STAY FAR AWAY!

Beyond disgusted. Initially paid for website creation and I requested a refund due to family illness not long after. They've handballed me to three staff now and still no assurance that this will happen. This is now there weeks of me requesting a refund. Extremely unprofessional and rude via email. Avoid at all cost. Do not pay for website creation through Wix.
