Clark has been very responsive in making my requested changes/updates to our website!

We have had detailed instructions regarding the upload of our photos for our website and Mr. Clark James have helped us tremendously. We appreciate his patience and diligence in making sure our requests are met and we are satisfied.

Vince is an excellent assistant in our project that we are working on at Renew the Earth.org. A parallel currency that provides basic needs Worldwide. He posts our weekly logs and other communications promptly and accurately. This is essential for our "virtual conversation" with our hoped for audience. Regular postings are very important to keep up interest and our momentum.

Our website needs are changing rapidly, and our Program Manager, Marco, does a fantastic job keeping it all current.

I had my website built by some guy on FIvrr (they'll contract anybody), and it was a disaster. After languishing a few more weeks, I responded to an ad by Simply.biz, and they have taken over the re-build, and they're doing a fantastic job. They're paying attention to every detail and they're very responsive.

My experience with Simple.biz was one of the most disappointing vendor experiences I have had, and I would not recommend them.

I paid more for Simple.biz than I am now paying for a significantly more comprehensive solution that includes the website, CRM, email and text automation, calendaring, ongoing education, hands-on support, and actual expert strategy around lead generation and the customer journey.

I came to Simple.biz with my branding, copy, imagery and vision already well developed, yet the initial website was far below my expectations. It took repeated pushback before I was connected with a developer who could finally create something I was happy with.

I also paid monthly for SEO and support but received no leads I could attribute to the website.

Most concerning, after investing substantially in having the website built, I discovered I did not own a portable website I could simply take with me when I left. I asked them to keep the existing site live for three months while I transitioned, with no edits, SEO or additional work required from their team. They declined unless I continued paying monthly.

I wish I had better understood the limitations of their proprietary model and how many more robust options are available before investing with Simple.biz.

**UPDATE:
In response to simple.biz’s reply: Unfortunately, this response reinforces the primary customer experience issue I described in my review: I did not feel heard or understood by Simple.biz.

My concern was never simply that Simple.biz uses a closed platform, nor was I advocating for WordPress. My concern is what I received for my investment and the options available to me when I chose to leave.

Before leaving, I specifically asked about capabilities I needed, including CRM functionality, automated email and text communication, customer-journey automation, and, most importantly, access to people with expertise in lead generation and growing a small business who could help me strategically implement those tools. That is not the experience or solution Simple.biz provided me.

My new provider is built on HighLevel and combines the website with CRM, email and SMS automation, calendaring, customer-journey systems, implementation support and ongoing strategic guidance. HighLevel also supports transferring client accounts between agencies, including substantial portions of the business data and digital infrastructure. That is materially different from my experience of leaving Simple.biz and having to rebuild.

Whether Simple.biz believes the two offerings are comparable does not change my experience as the customer. I paid more, received substantially less of what my business actually needed, and then experienced weeks of difficulty simply trying to exit.

Rather than addressing those issues, this response explains why I should reconsider my conclusions and predicts that I will encounter the same problems elsewhere. That response itself illustrates exactly why this relationship was so frustrating.

I stand by my review.
