We rented a car in Montenegro.

The support team is responsive, and the booking process is convenient. However, the car we booked was not available on the day of pickup, and nobody contacted us in advance to let us know.

We had specific requirements for the vehicle, including three separate seats in the second row and sufficient legroom in the third row. Unfortunately, the alternative offered to us on the spot did not meet our needs. As a result, we had to postpone our rental by one day, when the car we had originally booked finally became available.

While we appreciated the responsive support, it would have been much better to be informed in advance about the change in availability.

Nice web app for car renting

I rented a car in Tbilisi, Georgia. The whole process was very easy, and I received email notifications with clear and detailed information. I had a few questions, and they were answered almost immediately.

I received the exact car I had booked, with no surprises, and the car performed well throughout the rental. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience.

The only things that were a little strange were that the car owner, the person who delivered the car and to whom I returned it, asked me to pay 30 GEL to have the car washed. I didn't see any mention of this charge in the contract.

Also, the car was provided without a full tank of fuel. I was asked to return it with the same amount of fuel, whereas I believe cars should be provided with a full tank and returned full.

Other than these two points, everything went smoothly, and I would be happy to rent from them again.

The service we received was excellent. Our hire car was delivered to our holiday apartment in Kotor (Montenegro) at the time specified. We were provided with all the necessary documentation to travel from Montenegro into Albania for a couple of days. Our vehicle was then collected from the hotel we were staying at in Budva when we returned to Montenegro.

They were very responsive, friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions. The car was great, and exactly what we ordered. It was also a much better price than anything else I was able to find.

The car rental was offered at a very good price. For the same price, the more well-known rental companies offer cars that are less comfortable and less powerful.

We were met on time, everything was explained clearly, and we made a video showing where all the scratches and existing damage were. We then signed the agreement and received the car. Everything was correct and well organized.

I paid a €100 deposit in cash. I returned the car in the middle of the night, which had been agreed in advance, and there was an additional charge for this. We met exactly as arranged, and the owner was very friendly. I received my deposit back immediately. The car was inspected and there were no issues.

This was my first experience with this rental platform, but I was very satisfied with everything and the whole experience met my expectations. I would definitely use it again.

I do not accept the explanation that the car was cancelled because of an accident.

After my booking was cancelled, the SAME partner contacted me several times and tried to rent me the SAME car for a much higher price. They also asked me to deal with them directly instead of through Localrent.com. So how can you tell me the car had an accident and was unavailable?

This makes the whole situation look very suspicious. It seems the partner may have wanted to cancel my original booking and make a new deal directly with me at a higher price, avoiding Localrent's involvement.

What is even more disappointing is Localrent's customer support. Every time I tried to get help, I felt that the support was unprofessional and more interested in protecting the company and its partners than protecting the customer.

Honestly, it feels like Localrent cares more about making money than about its clients.

I do NOT recommend Localrent. If you want a reliable car rental and professional customer service, skip Localrent and look elsewhere.
