I wish I could update my previous review with good news, but unfortunately nothing has changed.
Despite multiple emails with DAZN support, repeated complaints, and my original Trustpilot review, my issue still hasn’t been resolved. My subscription has still not been cancelled, yet I continue receiving daily emails asking me to pay and add my credit card details.
What makes this even more frustrating is that their own website doesn’t work properly. The live chat they advertise as a support channel either doesn’t work or doesn’t allow me to contact anyone to cancel the subscription, leaving customers with no effective way to resolve the issue.
At this point, this is no longer a simple customer service failure—it’s a complete disregard for customer requests. Cancelling a subscription should not require weeks of emails, public reviews, and constant follow-ups.
If you’re considering subscribing to DAZN, be aware that cancelling may be far more difficult than signing up.
I’m still waiting for DAZN to do the bare minimum: process my cancellation request and stop sending payment demands.

Absolute GARBAGE streaming platform. Good luck trying to watch an HD live streaming event. Obviously most of these reviews are fake!
It took me 20 minutes to cancel my subscription. Only way to cancel it is to contact customer service

I have an annual subscription for DAZN to watch National League football. They cut off my match after 80 minutes on Saturday, They proceeded to blame my equipment despite multiple reports of issues from elsewhere. But they did manage to broadcast adverts after the game blanked out. Then after checking other National League matches, discovered they missed multiple goals on other match highlights. They love taking your money without providing the service. Even after my complaint was registered they said did I want to contact their help desk (which prompted the complaint) or did I want them to deal with it!!

It's a piece of crap monopoly service that restricts places geographically. I was also charged even after cancelling the subscription.

I would strongly recommend being careful before subscribing to DAZN.
I was charged $28.24 CAD for my subscription. When I decided to cancel, I was not allowed to simply cancel directly and had to go through another process to get it cancelled.
Despite trying to cancel, I was then charged another $39 CAD. And now, after cancellation, DAZN has charged me an additional $10.20 CAD, which their support team says is a “prorated fee for the cancellation.”
I find this extremely frustrating and misleading. If a customer cancels, they should be given a clear explanation upfront of exactly what additional charges will be applied and why. Instead, I had to contact support to find out why I was being charged again.
DAZN has now told me that the $10.20 is the “final charge,” but that does not address my concern about why I was charged $39 after attempting to cancel and why I am being charged additional money after cancellation.
The cancellation and billing process needs to be much more transparent. Based on my experience, I would not recommend DAZN to anyone who wants a straightforward subscription and cancellation process.

2026 auto-renew happened and the cancellation and refund process is extremely extremely difficult to navigate. It almost feels like DAZN are a bunch of crooks. Activiely making it difficult

I subscribed to DAZN for one reason: to watch one NFL team. Paying $34.99 per month for that is already hard to justify, but what’s even worse is that it feels like you’re paying to watch commercials instead of football. I understand that NFL games include commercial breaks, but charging a premium subscription price while still delivering so many ads makes the service feel like poor value. Wish I had another option here in Canada

I have had multiple issues and tried to raise multiple complaints only for it to be promised and ignored. I have been made promises and assurances about downgrading and then cancelling and despite both of those they have tried to charge the full amount both times. Also when I tried to view the last PPV the lag and quality was actually unwatchable so I do not recommend at all

I have had a terrible experience dealing with DaZn helpline consultants apparently dazn has put an auto renewal setting in their app so that even after you cancel your month to month subscription they can restart your subscription without your permission and help themselves to your hard earned money and its no longer month to month its now an annual 12 plan you never asked to join.
When I finally realised that they have been helping themselves to my money for months and questioned them as to how they can do this they say oh you must not have turned off the auto renew setting hidden in the app like it was my fault entirely.
They also told me no matter what I do now I am locked in to paying for the plan weather I cancel or not.
I sent them proof of my cancellation and even emails showing Dazn had sent me countless emails asking me to renew my membership which I never did but the consultant told me they were going to push my inquiry through to a higher swction and someone would contact me in the next 24 to 48hrs to discuss the situation but as I actually predicted would happen they never even bothered to contact me at all apart from to request I pay outstanding payment.

Very poor production values similar to that of Box nation. After a year of a subscription which was 100% not worth it as the decent content is still behind a pay wall. Yes ppv in boxing has been around forever but then I have to listen to Turkey telling me that the model is changing and soon it will cost but a cup of coffee to watch the big fights.... So why when I bought the Verhooven fight are they tagging an unwanted 7 day free trial that they have on auto renewal..... So they have had 50 bones out of me for nothing, it shiuld be their tag line, Pay us money for nothing and if not we will weasel it out of you signed Frank, Eddie and Turkey.
I hope that DANZ can get someone to give me a call as Ai could not sort my problems out . They put me to an agent and he told me to fix my problems on the website .

I signed up for an account with this company in December 2025. Eight months later, on August 1, 2026, I was in a different country, and so completely unable to use their service because I was in a different media zone. Nevertheless, DAZN auto-charged me £199 via PayPal. I immediately contacted them to explain that they had charged us for a service that we had not used for months and that it was physically impossible for us to use now, and requested a refund. They said "no," but that they would connect me to a specialist who could help. I waited for 40 minutes without any further contact or help. I've cancelled the subscription, obviously, but it's infuriating to have been charged so much money (without any notice of auto-renewal, I might add) for a service that I CANNOT use. I have never left a Trustpilot review before, but I found this experience so horrible that I'm doing so now in the hope that others will avoid my very expensive mistake.

Silent auto-renewal at 5x the price I actually paid
I signed up in October 2025 on a promotional NFL annual pass at £34.99. On 1 August 2026, DAZN automatically took £179.99 from my card.
No renewal reminder. No notice that the price had changed. No email of any kind telling me a payment was due or that I had a window to cancel. The first I knew about it was the money leaving my account.
That's more than five times what I last paid, and £55 more than even the full undiscounted price of the offer I originally took. A single reminder email would have prevented the whole thing.
I've cancelled and requested a refund. I'd strongly suggest anyone signing up on a promotional price checks their renewal date and diarises it themselves, because DAZN will not remind you.

DAZN save your card details on sign up, and attempt to collect payment even after you request cancellation. Disgusting business practice. This has happened to me two seasons in a row. Luckily I always sign up with a credit card, so I have been able to recover my money on both occasions.

It’s almost impossible to cancel a subscription. Not only do you have to go through a bunch of tricky pages and click cancel my subscription five times but they make you either call them or chat with them. I’ve been waiting on the chat for about 15 minutes.
As you can see by the response below, DAZN is ready to be put out of business by a company with some morals

I’m with DAZN through lack of choice as they have had the NHL unfortunately so I have no chive but to use them. I had trouble last year when I first went with them for NHL as there was a price dispute. Their customer service advisors are the worst and are unable to deal with the most basic of disputes. The answer is last year was constantly that it had to go to “another department “ and that they would “email me” when they had investigated. This happens EVERY single time and nobody is able to deal with the query there and then.
Last year I admitted defeat and just gave up because I was sick of dealing with them.
Thsi year the renewal price was emailed telling me it was £119.99 but they are quoting me the wrong package and I am on ultimate. My account renewal price comes up at £139.99 but if you look at the DAZN website it’s £124.99 which is a £15 difference.
I’ve been told the exact same thing again that it had to go to this “other” department and I had to wait around for an email yet again. It’s such poor customer service and there is literally no point in them even paying those people because they do absolutely nothing. DAZN don’t care though, they’re all about the money and as long as they make revenue they couldn’t care less of the reputation or the fact they have the worst customer service of any company.
I even explained to the advisor that solution was very simple and a £15 credit to match the online price would have resolved it but it’s the same garbage answers as last year, they get you off the chat as quickly as they can with the excuse of an email and then just email you saying no or in the case I had last year answering totally irrelevant questions I’ve not even asked. Absolute joke of a company.

I bought the AJ PPV. After watching two prelims with no issues, the walkouts began for the AJ fight. As soon as the walk outs began, the buffering started. The fight was unwatchable, stopping every 3-5 second. This as you can imagine totally ruined the fight, very disappointing. I won’t be using DAZN again, £20 down the drain.

My 18yo son paid to watch a boxing match for £15 and was given a free trial (which he didn’t ask for or use). He thought he’d cancelled it but now he has had two payments of £26.99 taken from his account. He was away and missed the first payment so only noticed when they tried to take a second payment but he didn’t have any money. He cancelled it again but as soon as he got some cash they took another payment. I spent ages jumping through hoops to speak to someone regarding this and finally got one month refunded. However, given the circumstances, both months should really be refunded. They can see he hasn’t watched anything else. He is a student and doesn’t have any money and was basically tricked into the ‘free trial’. Beware and say no to the trial. It’s very difficult to cancel this.
Update - Customer services have been very helpful and now refunded both payments. Thank you.
