I bought a one year old second hand KIA. As the 20000 mile service had been missed, I was informed that the seven year warranty would not cover the engine but that all electrical, air con etc would be.
The offside wing mirror did not adjust via controls and my vendor contacted KIA to establish whether this was covered. We were informed that it was and an appointment was booked it in for two weeks later.
On the day, I was told that this was not covered due to a scuff mark on rear of mirror; not an impact, a scuff.
I was told that this would not be covered (despite previous assurance) and that I would have to pay £168 plus vat.
As such their warranty is not really worth anything at all. I feel generous giving a one star review as even that was not earned.

Birchwood Ford Eastbourne Service department. I took a 1-year old Ford Focus in for an interim service. I wanted to have the same level of checking that an older car would get. When I booked on the phone I was told there were two levels of (annual) interim service, (1) just oil and filter change (2) oil+filter plus additional checks. I opted for the second version (about £75 more). The subsequent online check-in page listed two items: (a) FREE health check and (b) oil+filter change. I wondered what they would do for the additional money, so when I brought the car in I asked what would be done and checked. There didn't seem to be anything extra to the free health check. The health check report specifically said "visual inspection only, no mechanical check". It seems I was charged extra for NO additional checks. Visual inspection only. Did they even do basics such as top up windscreen washer bottle and check tyre pressures?? The invoice doesn't list those things. Not good value and I won't be going back to that service department!

Adam was great from the first time we spoke. I told hi what I was interested and we arranged to meet that weekend,I gave the car a once over and then took it for a small test drive. I hadn't bought an EV before so Adam's experience and knowledge was very helpful. We agreed a deal in principle and the following weekend we were the proud owners of an MG ZS EV. Overall the experience was really easy for us and Adam did a great job, even dealing with a couple of follow up questions. Thanks Adam
