Extremely disappointing experience with…
Extremely disappointing experience with AJet. I arrived at the airport several hours early after a connecting flight and asked to be moved to an earlier flight that had available seats. Instead of showing any flexibility or customer care, I was told I would have to pay almost the full price of a new ticket. The staff made no effort to help or offer any reasonable solution. A customer-focused airline should value loyalty and common sense, especially when passengers are already at the airport and simply want to travel earlier. This experience left me feeling that policies matter more than people. I will seriously reconsider flying with AJet again and would not recommend it based on the customer service I received.
Avoid this airline at all costs!
My connection from Frankfurt to Beirut was disrupted because my initial flight out of New York was canceled due to maintenance and rebooked for the next day.
When I tried to adjust my AJET flight using their app, it wouldn't let me. I called customer service, only to be hit with an onslaught of hidden costs: a rebooking penalty, a phone transaction fee, and a credit card processing fee. Desperate to get to my destination, I agreed to pay, even though the fees equaled the price of a brand-new ticket.
While the agent was mid-processing, she abruptly claimed she could no longer make changes because the flight was "in progress." She then demanded an additional 90 euros because the flight had technically taken off! To top it all off, I was hit with a $100 international calling charge just for trying to fix their mess over the phone. Absolutely terrible service.
I am highly disappointing
I had a highly disappointing and inconsistent experience with AJet that goes beyond standard baggage policies.
During check-in, a staff member incorrectly sent a cabin baggage item to be checked in, even though it was not intended to be checked and was not necessary to be placed in the hold. This already created confusion and unnecessary inconvenience.
Additionally, we were not informed that our baggage could be processed collectively as a group. If we had been properly advised that check-in could be done together, we would have adjusted our luggage accordingly. Instead, we were immediately processed individually without any explanation of this option.
In our case, even a small adjustment of 1–2 kg per bag could have been easily redistributed into our hand luggage to stay within the allowance. However, we were not given the opportunity to reorganize or repack, even though this was clearly possible at the time.
At the same time, other passengers in the same queue were informed about combining baggage allowance and were allowed to adjust their luggage to avoid excess fees. We were not given the same information or fair opportunity, which resulted in us paying unnecessary additional charges.
The issue is not the existence of baggage rules, but the inconsistent application and lack of equal treatment between passengers in identical situations.
After submitting a complaint, the response I received only repeated policy wording and did not address the core issue of inconsistent handling, lack of communication, and unequal passenger treatment.
This experience reflects poor operational consistency and weak customer communication standards, which should be improved to ensure fairness for all passengers.

Lost Luggage
My baggage has been missing for two weeks, and I still have not received any information regarding its whereabouts.
Very polite man.
Very good service I have ever received from Mo. Lovely man. I love the service. I think he should be the top manager in this company. (Yousuf). Thank you shadi flight reference: VF1992
Thank you so much.
Very impressed with this airline
Very impressed with this airline. Flight was delayed because of the situation in the Middle East, which made me miss my transfer. I got a new flight, stay at a 5 star hotel, transport and meals all included. Their staff are very friendly and professional. The website is very good and easy to use. Their planes are brand new. It feels like a premium airline but at a very cheap price.
I rarely leave negative reviews
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with AJet has been extremely disappointing.
Out of two journeys booked with AJet, both were subject to significant schedule changes after the tickets had already been purchased. What makes this even more frustrating is that both trips involved connecting flights, meaning that a change to one segment completely disrupted the entire itinerary.
The latest change was particularly unacceptable: a flight that was originally scheduled to arrive in Vienna on June 15 was changed to arrive more than 24 hours later, on June 16, with an overnight layover in Istanbul. A journey that was originally planned with a reasonable connection suddenly became a trip requiring an additional day of travel.
What concerns me most is that this was not a one-time occurrence. It happened on both of my journeys. As a customer, it creates the impression that flights are being sold according to one schedule and then later changed or consolidated, leaving passengers with much less convenient itineraries than the ones they originally paid for.
I understand that operational changes can happen in aviation. However, when major schedule changes become a recurring pattern rather than an exception, it becomes difficult to trust the airline’s published schedules when making travel plans. This is especially problematic when connecting flights are involved, because changing a single segment can completely destroy the value and practicality of the entire booking.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend AJet and I will avoid booking with them again in the future. Reliability is one of the most important factors when choosing an airline, and unfortunately AJet has failed to provide that reliability on both of my journeys.
Nice service
They let me cancel my flight and get a full refund with no fees or almost no fees.
Awful experience with Ajet company
Awful experience with Ajet company, They’ve changed our flight to next day and we had layover for 12 HOURS! They didn’t provide any benefits even thought we sincerely asked for it. Secondly the luggage has arrived in horrible state, it was half broken and they didn’t compensate anything
We experienAjet's Unjustified Baggage Fee Collection and the 1.5-Month Scandalous Unresolved Issue.ced serious inconvenience…
We experienced serious inconvenience during the Bucharest – Ankara flight on April 13, 2025, due to both the treatment we received at the airport and the handling of our complaint afterward. Our reference number in the AJet feedback system is: VF-873576.
Despite having a total baggage allowance of 28 kg and our baggage not exceeding this limit, AJet staff at the airport claimed that the cabin baggage exceeded the 8 kg limit by 3 kg and insisted it had to be checked in. They then counted it as a "second bag" and stated that my girlfriend would not be allowed to board unless she paid 30 Euros. She was effectively forced into making this payment. In subsequent phone calls with AJet customer services, representatives themselves confirmed that this practice was inconsistent with the company’s own policy.
During the payment process, an even more serious issue arose. My girlfriend attempted to pay with her ING Romania card, and although the transaction clearly showed as completed in her mobile banking app, the staff refused to accept it on the grounds that no receipt was printed. The same situation repeated itself on a second attempt. She then made a third payment using her Revolut card, which was accepted. The staff told her the first two transactions would be “cancelled automatically by the system,” which turned out to be false. Two days after the flight, she noticed that a total of 60 Euros had been deducted from her ING account. In total, 30 Euros were collected in a manner that contradicts the company’s own policy, and 60 Euros were charged as duplicate, entirely unjustified payments.
Following this, we submitted a formal complaint through AJet’s feedback form on April 20th, under reference number VF-873576. Over the course of nearly 1.5 months, I called the customer service line more than 10 times. Every single time, I was told “we have forwarded your request to the relevant department and marked it as urgent.” At least 5 different representatives opened new email tickets, yet no concrete response was ever provided, no clear information was shared about the status of the case, and no refund was processed. While even a small bus company can resolve a simple erroneous charge within a few hours, AJet’s failure to address an obvious duplicate charge of 60 Euros over 1.5 months presents a completely unacceptable picture.
For all these reasons, I am demanding the immediate refund of the 60 Euros wrongfully deducted from the ING Romania account, as well as the refund of the 30 Euros that were collected under duress and in a manner confirmed by AJet’s own customer service representatives to be contrary to company policy. I also expect a written apology from the company and a detailed explanation regarding the incorrect application, the misinformation provided, and the prolonged lack of response.
Paid Services Not Honored After Flight Cancellation
I am very disappointed with my experience with AJet.
My original return flight was cancelled by the airline, and I was rebooked onto another flight. On my original booking, I had paid for seats together so that my travel companion and I could sit next to each other. However, after the rebooking, we were assigned separate seats, and the service I had already paid for was not honored.
I had also purchased a 10 kg cabin baggage allowance for the original flight. When I arrived at the airport for the replacement flight, this allowance had apparently not been transferred correctly to the new booking. As a result, I was forced to pay an additional €100 for two bags.
What made the experience even worse was the attitude of some airport staff. They were unhelpful, disrespectful, and seemed more interested in charging passengers extra fees than assisting them. Instead of helping resolve issues caused by the airline’s cancellation, they made the situation even more stressful.
I understand that flight disruptions can happen, but passengers should not lose services they have already paid for or be charged additional fees because of errors made during the rebooking process.
I am not writing this review to seek compensation. I simply want to share my experience so that other travelers are aware and so that AJet can improve its customer service and handling of flight cancellations.
Worst airline I’ve ever flown with
Worst airline I’ve ever flown with. The enforcement of the supposed baggage rules are ridiculous.
At the gate they insisted that I was only allowed to carry 1 piece, instead of 1 small suitcase and 1 bag.
Then they tried to charge me even for my wallet and food bag that I had already taken out of my backpack so I’m ready to board and sit down.
Also they wanted to charge me for a piece of my backpack that I had already separated from the main part for easier boarding. And they wanted to charge me for my jacket and hoodie.
This airline is a freaking joke.
Never again.
Bad experience with Ajet
For more than 20 years, I have been flying with various airlines, and I had never experienced such poor treatment until now.
On May 31, 2026, on the AJet flight from Sabiha Gökçen to Baku departing at 23:50, I politely asked a flight attendant if I could move to one of the empty seats because I was suffering from severe back pain. She told me that I could change seats after the aircraft had taken off.
However, after takeoff, the same flight attendant approached me and insisted that I remain in my assigned seat. I explained that I had traveled to Istanbul to see a doctor due to my back problems and that sitting in the same position for a long period was difficult for me. Despite this, and despite the availability of empty seats, I was not allowed to move.
This situation caused me great disappointment because the information I was initially given directly contradicted the treatment I later received, and my health condition was not taken into consideration.
Later, I noticed that other passengers moved to empty seats and were allowed to remain there without any objection. When I raised this issue, I was told that those passengers were supposedly sitting in their assigned seats. However, I had personally seen them change seats after takeoff. When I requested that their seat assignments be checked, my request was refused.
Rules should be applied equally to everyone. I felt that I was treated unfairly and with a lack of respect. Especially after explaining my health condition, I expected at least a little understanding and consideration.
This incident has negatively changed my opinion of AJet. I hope the company will take passenger satisfaction and the conduct of its staff more seriously in the future.
mean service and avoid it!
you see the rates and you know everything. The employees are very mean for the package control and their rules for package is really not practical: you can't really travel and fit everything in such a small luggage. most ridiculous flight i have ever encountered
absolutely herrendous customer service…
absolutely herrendous customer service and zero help from anybody , rude , abrupt , ive booked 2 seats turkey return , and paid the cancellation fee , and so far received no hope of £800 getting returned when i cancelled a whole week before traveling.
A completely incompetent and…
A completely incompetent and disorganized airline!
I didn't even know something like this still existed nowadays. The standards are incredibly low; I have never seen anything like it. My emails, sent both via the contact form and directly to their email address, were simply ignored. No one has replied for over a month, even though it was very important to me. I just don't understand it. How can an airline with such low standards be authorized to fly out of Vienna?
I strongly advise others not to travel…
I strongly advise others not to travel with this company based on our experience.
I can accept an airline charging me €140 for a stroller. What I cannot accept is the way my partner and I were treated by AJet’s check-in staff at Copenhagen Airport.
We were travelling on an emotional journey connected to the birth of our child through surrogacy. Instead of being treated with basic dignity and respect, we were publicly told that we “did not have a child” and our personal circumstances were discussed openly at the check-in desk.
The issue was never really the money. It was the complete lack of sensitivity and professionalism shown towards two intended parents on one of the most important journeys of their lives.
When we asked for the employee’s name in order to make a complaint, she refused. We then photographed what we believed to be her visible staff identification. The situation escalated to a completely unnecessary point that airport security and police became involved, turning what should have been a joyful trip into a humiliating experience.
The most disappointing part came afterwards. AJet’s response to an official complaint completely ignored our concerns about staff conduct, public comments regarding our surrogacy journey, and the unnecessary escalation. Instead, they simply sent a generic explanation of their stroller policy.
At no point did they address the behaviour we complained about.
Rules can be enforced professionally. Fees can be charged respectfully. What happened to us was neither.
This was supposed to be a journey to welcome our child into the world. Instead, it became one of the most upsetting travel experiences we have ever had. Leaveing us shaken and humiliated .
Based on both the treatment we received at the airport and the dismissive response that followed, we will never fly with AJet again and would encourage others to consider carefully whether this is a company they wish to trust with important family travel. However, judging by the rating on here, I doubt they will be around for much longer.
Exceptionally friendly employees, very competent, and excellent service.

SCANDALOUS
SCANDALOUS: Scammed, Abandoned, and ROBBED by AJet!
Subject: Official notice of default and demand for payment (Flight VF67 | 29-03-2026)
Route: Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) – Brussels Airport (BRU)
With this letter/complaint, I wish to express my deepest indignation and anger regarding the scandalous manner in which my son and I were treated by AJet. Not only were we completely abandoned to our fate in the midst of total chaos, but we have now been deliberately ignored for months. This is pure daylight robbery.
1. The Facts: Total Chaos and False Pretenses
On March 29, 2026, my son and I were at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport for our flight VF67 to Brussels. This flight was suddenly canceled. The airport turned into a scene of dehumanizing chaos, leaving thousands of passengers stranded.
AJet immediately hid behind the excuse of "bad weather conditions" to evade its responsibilities. This is demonstrable deception. Around the exact same time, numerous other flights—from both AJet and other airlines—did manage to depart and land at Sabiha Gökçen. Furthermore, Istanbul's main airport was fully operational. Therefore, the weather was not a valid reason, but rather a cheap cover-up for operational failure.
2. Failure of Duty of Care, Sky-High Costs
Instead of providing the legally required assistance, AJet excelled only in its total absence:
We had to spend hours on the phone (resulting in sky-high international phone charges) just to get a rebooking for the following day.
AJet provided no hotel, no transport, and no food or drinks. We were tossed out like garbage and were forced to pay for our own hotel and dinner.
Note: All relevant invoices and supporting documents have been carefully preserved from day one and have been repeatedly submitted.
3. Our Legal Demands (In accordance with EU Regulation 261/2004 / IATA Guidelines)
Since the distance between Istanbul and Brussels falls within the 1500–3500 km category, and there was absolutely no question of legitimate extraordinary circumstances, we demand with immediate effect:
Statutory compensation: €400 per person (€800 in total).
Full reimbursement of all expenses incurred (hotel, transport, meals, and phone charges).
Conclusion: Ignored for Months
Upon our return, we immediately submitted a claim via AJet's official website, including all supporting evidence. Since then, we have resubmitted the claim multiple times through the official web form. AJet's response? Radio silence. Utter arrogance.
This is not only unprofessional; it is unlawful. We will no longer tolerate this. If a concrete commitment to payment is not made within 10 working days, we will escalate this matter to the competent Turkish enforcement authorities to secure our rights.
I demand immediate action and the payment we are legally entitled to!
