Absolute disgrace of a company my tenants had broken door frames and even had a missing door in my property so much damage and they denied my claim there was a crime refernce number for all the damage also, these lot are absolute scammers avoid, they spent over 6 months to get a resolution and did absolutely nothing, Annie was no help at all.
Effortlessly resolved complex policy changes
Steph did a great job sorting out all the less than straight forward policy changes I needed to make for my new career and change of address. Nothing was too difficult and she resolved all the issues without any fuss or problems.

I renewed my policy after comparing other comparison sites.
I renewed my policy after comparing other quotes. The process was simple and the renewal notice showed all policy options I had undertaken.
This is my second year with Ageas UK and I couldn't find any reason not to renew.
Unreasonable and unhelpful .
Ageas wanted to charge me £102 to amend my policy, after I made a genuine one digit typo on the date I bought my vehicle. I was given this option or a £50 cancellation fee.
I chose the latter on principle and also found a cheaper equivalent policy.
They emailed me with the amount due to be refunded for the remainder of the policy. Unfortunately they failed to repay this amount and sent a lower amount. On noticing on my online banking and questioning it, they were adamant I was wrong. On forwarding their email back to them with the amount and a screen shot of what they actually returned they changed their minds.
I wouldn’t use them again. They are unhelpful, untruthful , stubborn - refusing to use common sense and discretion and short sighted re a trivial minor genuine error.
My minor error cost me £102 , their refund error was also my error!

When they finally answer the phone they say that the case handler that has been allocated my file has left the company! 3 in 3 months ! Never spoke to one yet !

Insurance for two cars and our home Simples!!
We already have both cars insured through Ageas and wanted our home insurance to come under the same umbrella, with just one on-line account. It was really easy to obtain a quotation to suit our needs and the price for the insurance was extremely competitive. Excellent all round win-win situation for two Octogenarians moving to a new home!

No problems so far
I have been using Ageas for my home insurance for a number of years, the premiums has been affordable and this year the premium was lower, so that was a bonus. I have yet to have a claim, if in the future the unfortunate situation does arise I hope Ageas does what it says on the tin.
