It was straight forward and not complected it took a few minutes

The charges are reasonably okay. I’m very affordable. The Service is swift and prompt.

I would rate the online procedure 5 star but not if you ring up and speak to an advisor. I spoke to an advisor about getting another car put onto my policy and she said ‘we don’t do that!’ ‘You can’t have multiple cars on one policy’ And basically told me to go elsewhere for a quote. Luckily I didn’t take her word for it and applied online and got my two car policy.

Easy to set up online and the quote was £30 a month cheaper than my last company, would definitely recommend

Nice and straight forward

I called to change the date on my insurence policy, as it states online that you can do, to be told that this isn't possible. I was advised to cancel my policy and start again which will not be possible as i paid in full and would not get my refund in time… not the best first impressions

★☆☆☆☆ – Absolutely Appalling Customer Service and Refund Handling

My experience with esure has been nothing short of disgraceful. The level of incompetence, poor communication and complete lack of accountability is astonishing.

My insurance policy was cancelled on 16 October, and I was owed a refund of over £3,300. Despite providing my bank details on 22 October, I am still waiting for my money.

I was initially told the refund would take 3–5 working days, which later changed to 5–7 working days. When those deadlines passed, I was given more excuses about backlogs and delays.

To make matters worse, I was subsequently told my bank details were invalid, despite having photographic evidence of the original conversation confirming exactly what information I had provided. Rather than resolving the issue, customer service continued to repeat the same explanations.

I even requested to speak directly with the Accounts team, only to be told this was impossible because customer service can only communicate with them via email. Apparently, customers are expected to sit around indefinitely while esure’s departments communicate amongst themselves.

I have now raised a formal complaint, yet I am still left chasing money that rightfully belongs to me.

Over £3,300 is not a trivial amount of money. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase an insurance company to recover their own funds, particularly after following every instruction given.

The entire experience has demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism, transparency and urgency. Plenty of promises, endless excuses and absolutely no meaningful resolution.

I would strongly advise anyone considering esure to think carefully before trusting them with their money. Taking payment seems straightforward enough, but getting your money back is apparently an entirely different story.

An utterly unacceptable experience. I would not recommend esure.

It was a good price compared to other insurers. I like that they provide a clear breakdown of no claim bonus discount prices.
