Once again, another store with Sold Out... VIRTUAL Keys!!!

Once again, a website where VIRTUAL keys are sold out. How??? Also, their site claims that their TrustPilot score is 4.1. Not sure how 3.8 = 41. Anyhow, I am glad I am not purchasing anything from there.

Great... Games are either Sold Out or not available. We're talking about VIRTUAL KEYS here.

Games are either: Sold Out, not on the platform etc. We're talking about virtual keys here. How is this even possible??? I will give them this though: Their search parameter is WAY better than Loaded's one.

No virtual keys in stock (how is THAT even possible???)

Where do I start?

- I could NOT find any of the games I was interested in.
- Most games are sold out, page after page (90%!!!).
- You cannot exclude DLCs from the search. Why? Why can't I? That is THE most basic thing people want to exclude.
- Why can't I exclude Sold Out games from my search?

This site is garbage imo. If you can't have games in stock (with virtual keys of all things!!!), maybe you're not cut out to be an online retailer.

I've started receiving emails about…

I've started receiving emails about this:

"Your Talent․com daily job alert for Remote Online Tasks – Earn Up To $1,500/Month Playing Games"

Bear in mind that I verified my account, and made sure I did NOT have any alerts set up. Lo and behold, I have none. Also, I certainly would NEVER set up such a stupid notification for job alerts. FreeCash is clearly sponsoring this as an ad. Otherwise, I wouldn't have received those emails for the past week that redirects me to FreeCash.

At this point, what they've been sending me is pure spam emails, which I never requested. I may take it up with their registrar if they keep this up.

Suffice it to say, I deleted my account. If they can't respect my settings and me, then they don't deserve my business.

150$ per month?

I'm sorry... But how the hell is a single month 150$, while yearly is 25$ (monthly) x 12? If the month to month was 30$ or something in that ballpark, that would be different. There is no way in hell I am paying 150$ just to try out a service. Also, it uses Copilot... Instead of an AI specializing in job interviewing. You might as well just use Copilot, ChatGPT, or Gemini yourself, while using a site called Huntr to track your progress.

Nickel and diming

I was thinking about buying the RP5, but guess what you ALSO need to buy separately. The charger, the dock, AND what they call "Worry free purchase". PLUS other stuff can be bought if you want to have either a case and a screen protector.

Concerning the "Worry free purchase": Why DO I need to purchase that? I mean sure, it's optional. But WHY is it there to begin with??? Let's look at this rationally and logically. Laws prevent companies from screwing you over if there is a defect or if the item breaks or gets damage in transit. In which case it's the company's responsibility to cover the loss (NOT you). So, WHY have a "Worry free purchase"?

Reached out, no reply

I reached out to Sarah to offer my support as a mentor. I can see that my message was received and read (via a Read Receipt I got), but I didn’t hear back. If my help wasn’t needed, I understand, but a brief reply would have been the appropriate and respectful thing to do. As I was genuinely interested in contributing to her group. Instead, I chose to volunteer elsewhere where my support was needed and appreciated.

They are refusing to delete my account upon request

I have closed my account, and emailed them asking them to delete my account completely. They are refusing, stating some nonsense about respecting GDRP regulations. We in are Canada, the GDPR regulations do NOT apply in Canada in any way whatsoever. Clearly their department has zero understanding of Canadian law. Seeing I do NOT have money in the account, their refusal is outright ridiculous. I have subsequently filed a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as well as the equivalent for my province.

EDIT: Your response is the dumbest reason you refused to delete my account. I did not withdraw money, nor put money in. All I asked was for YOU to delete MY account (i.e. my information), nothing else. So please, spare me your nonsensical rhetoric. I have contacted two agencies (Federal/Local), as I believe you are violating my rights to privacy.

All of that said, what bothers me the most is the fact that you haven't acknowledged that your department is trying to force GDPR regulations in a NON-European country. Your regulations do NOT apply here, only my country's regulations do when dealing with companies here.

Working for free? Hard pass.

They added me to a random project (which is, whatever). They wanted to know how I would perform. So, that project was a semi-short 3 part project, to determine if I could perform adequately, which I crushed btw. For NO pay, mind you.

Then, they had the gall to add me to another project. This one was exactly the same, but it was a 5 part project. Again, it was NOT a paid one at all. Supposedly upon completion, I would become a "reviewer".

Yeah... About that: No, I am NOT working for free. I simply ignored the project, as I felt extremely insulted that they thought they could take advantage of me and my talent. I will never work with Alignerr, and I will be deleting my account.

Sega used to be a great company

Sega used to be a great company. That is, until they legally went after Darius Khan. They accused Mr. Khan of theft of their property and IP theft. Mind you, he legally bought the devices. How do I know that, Waste to Wonder, the company Sega hired were to dispose of the items. At which point, when Mr. Khan bought the devices, they were effectively garbage. Literally, as they had been disposed of BY Sega.

Review of Twitch

Twitch says Edge is not supported, despite their documentation saying it is. 😐

I can view videos etc. BUT, when I try login into Twitch on Edge, I get this error msg:
"Your browser is not currently supported
Please use a recommended browser or learn more here."

Edge IS a supported browser. 😐

Then, I tried using Brave. Same thing. I do not have any extensions that would cause THIS issue. Even when I disable all of them and hard refresh, it still doesn't work. And yes, I also tried incognito mode.

I tried reaching out to support, BUT they require me to give them MY IP. What??? Absolutely not. If ever Twitch is breached and my IP is leaked, what then? Does this sound like a good trade off to get help NOW? Absolutely NOT. What type of company thinks they need your IP anyhow?

I guess I just won't log into Twitch ever again. As someone who subbed to several people at different times, I guess Twitch will lose my business. Oh well...

Cannot unsubscribe from their emails

I wanted to check out a job posting, and apply to it. Mind you, the job was actually on another website (i.e. it redirected me to a 3rd party website). However, I had to accept receiving emails by Jooble for the redurect. When I try unsubbing in the email link, it redirects me to their login page. I do not have an account. I will be reporting this to CASL.

Their website is beyond broken

- I received an email asking me to create an account.
- It doesn't work, as all it does is spin and spin.
- Yes, I tried multiple browsers (phone included).
- They were going to have their team fix it.
- I was never emailed about the resolution, despite an email I sent ~3 weeks after that.

Fast forward to later
- They emailed me ~2 weeks after that (via a new email, NOT a reply) asking me to complete the account, because of my prescription.
- I told them it does not work.

Fast forward to even later
- Eventually, their team I guess had to create the account for me... Which I had no idea they even did that.
- By that point I simply had everything shipped to the pharmacy near my house.

Fast forward to today
- I get an email stating this, " Moving soon? Make sure your medications arrive at the right place by updating your delivery address in your profile."
- I have NO idea why.
- I tried resetting my password to see if I could actually log into the account. A password reset was NEVER sent. Not that I was ever able to set a password in the first place.
- I decided to link my Gmail (instead of trying to log into with a password which I don't have anyhow).
- My information was there, and was correct.
- I promptly unlinked my Gmail account (for security reasons, obviously).
- Then got a random email from them. Mind you, ONLY because I linked my Gmail account.
- I then decided to try the "forgot password?" again. That time, it sent me a link for me to reset my password.

Final thoughts:
- Do I have the emails to back up what I say? 100%.
- They have the worst website I have EVER seen.
- The fact that creating an account doesn't work, and resetting your password doesn't when it should is very unprofessional.
- Whoever created their website did a poor job, and the fact that they haven't taken this issue seriously is baffling. All it means is that I simply am not a customer of their pharmacy.
- I was suggested Medzy by my medical service at the time called "Bonjour Sante". I believe Bonjour Sante actually sent them my information.
- Suffice it to say, I've since moved on to a better platform called "Doctr", which works as it should. And the mondossierpharma (the website for the medication) works as it should as well.

Suggestions for Medzy:
- Take customer complaints seriously.
- Do NOT ghost customers. Which is the reason I switched to Pharmaprix.
- If they tell you something doesn't work, don't simply forward XYZ to another different department. YOU should make sure it works as intended once fixed.
- And please, have IT fix the password not resetting issue.

I cannot in good conscience support Coinbase

I cannot in good conscience support Coinbase, a company that has chosen to promote and align itself with Donald Trump.

This is not about political opinions. Trump is a known criminal. He has:

- Pardoned all January 6th insurrectionists
- Cut essential services including Medicaid and USAID
- Attempted to fire hundreds of thousands of Federal employees
- Arrested judges and senators
- Suppressed all non right-wing media
- Sent the Coast Guard and Marines to suppress peaceful protests in Los Angeles
- Trampled on trans rights
- Deported immigrants and even U.S. citizens without due process
- Lied about deportees being gang members, sending them to a concentration camp in El Salvador
- Enabled masked police to abduct people directly off the streets
- Illegally detained foreign tourists for days and even weeks in jail without charges
- Lied about Ukraine, stating they started a war with Russia. When in fact, Russia unlawfully invaded Ukraine.
- Held a military parade for himself

Coinbase chose to support this. During the parade, they were explicitly thanked with the words: “Special Thanks To Our Sponsor – Coinbase.”

That is not a neutral act. It is complicity. I have closed my account and will not support a company that helps normalize authoritarianism and human rights violations.

Review of AIR MILES Canada

Great, I have 0 points now. 😐

We don't use Air Miles that often (typically Optimum). In any case, I had 106 points on my Air Miles. I logged into my account today, since I wanted to set up Air Miles on my new phone. This is what their website says about my balance now:
Cash: 0$
Dreams: 0$

And it also says this now:
March 30, 2025:
(Air Miles Logo with the words) Retired -106 [points]

What does that even mean?! And how the hell does Air Miles retire its OWN program as its own Partner?! 😐 Make that make sense.

I think it's time I try out a new program.

People can sign up with your email, somehow

I wanted to create an account because one of my friends has a Snapchat account. Apparently, someone was able to create an account using MY email. At some point, I had received an email from Snapchat, but I didn't think it was real, as I had NEVER signed up for Snapchat. It was saying my account was banned.

They basically banned MY email, despite the fact that I NEVER used Snapchat before. When I tried getting support, they did NOT bother reading my message. All they did was send this frustrating automated message, and never bother replying past that:

"Hey there,

Your Snapchat account has been permanently locked. When we lock an account, it means we've identified activity that we prohibit in order to keep Snapchat fun and safe for everyone. "

So... People can sign up using other people's emails, and that's fine? Snapchat clearly doesn't verify your email. What a piece of garbage app AND "customer support".

I posted a review, warning people to NOT use a company called FlexJobs. Why? Because of the practices of the company are considered illegal where I live. Instead of siding with the consumer, they pulled down my review. The slogan is, "Find a company you can trust". As a consumer, you can't do that if they are pulling down legitimate reviews protecting consumers.

Do NOT sign up

1 - MOST jobs are 30+ days old
2 - Irrelevant jobs when searching for cybersecurity
3 - Jobs seekers have to pay? I'm sorry... What?

The idea that this is literally the ONLY job board which forces a job seeker to pay in order to access job details tells you how much FlexJobs is terrible.

4 - There is no way for me to delete my account.
5 - I could NOT find a way to delete my account on their website either.

6 - PIPEDA Is Canadian law stating there MUST be a clear way for a user to delete their information. This includes being capable of DELETING my account (vs simply deleting my information).

7 - Quebec Law 25 also states that consent should be genuine and clearly expressed. This has been taken away, considering I am unable to delete my account myself (to clarify, I do NOT mean deleting my information, but my account, as those are 2 completely different things).
