The buyer protection is a scam. You will not be able to get your money back if the seller doesn’t want to. Vinted does not care about the buyer. Your complaint will take MONTHS to be answered.

Customer seevice is non existant. Reported 2 x fake Man Utd shirts and the were both fake. I reported both as fake. They said the will get back to me with 5 days. By that time the suspention of the money and return will end and I will ens up with a fake shirt I can't wear. Provided all the pictures of labels and AI proving they are fake but still I hear nothing. There are so many fake Man Utd ahirts on Vinted. I reperted on I foumd on a search and they said it's fine. Avoid Vinted. I'm going back to ebay.

Item i recived was flat out broken (a bag) sipper was ripped off so i cant use the item. Contacted support, sent all the pictures from different angles they asked for. Weeks on end back and forth. So now they will close my case cus i cant supply pictures of the inside and outside of the packaging when the item came to me, even tho i given many pictures showing the broken zipper and all the miscolourations on the item that the seller didnt disclose. So clearly not anything related to how the item arrived. Customer support keeps threting whit * amount of hours before they release the money to the seller, i always answer directly but they let it go weeks on end and say nothing. Seller hasnt said a word for over a month. Do not buy from vinted if you arent ready to just keep a broken item and not get your money back. I dont reccoment thise site. And worst is it could have been so good.

Account banned by AI for a 1974 history book – No appeal provided (DSA Art. 20 violation)

Vinted banned a 5-star account with hundreds of successful transactions over a legal 1974 historical biography. Their automated system falsely accused me of "hate speech", locked the support ticket, and their legal team ignores emails.

A formal complaint has been filed with the Finnish Supervisory Authority (Traficom) for violations of EU Digital Services Act (Articles 17 & 20). Avoid this platform if you value basic customer protection and fair treatment.

Sold one piece of clothing. Buyer accused it was fake because it "felt cheap". Well yea half of it is made with polyester (which I stated in the listing).

1. The collar had authentication QR code (works, I have a photo of it. The buyer admitted it works) 2. Had the receipt from a reputable vendor, sent it to her. 3. Had email confirmation of the original order. Sent it to her. 4. Explained why it wasn't identical to a similar (not the same, similar) product she had. Brand came out with similar product in two different price points (quality is different too hence the price). I know because I had one of each. Gave photos and order confirmation on that too.

After all this who does vinted side with? The buyer of course. And since it was a "fake product" (it was not. I proved it was not.) I have no rights to a return shipping aka the buyer gets to keep it for free. Vinted customer service won't respond to me. I've used so many second hand sites such as Tori, Fb markerplace, Emmy, Vestiare etc countless times and never had any issues with any of them. Vinted, never again.

Read carefully.
Vinted is the worst marketplace you could sell on it due to many reasons.
For example: uploading football jersey, still new in its package, never worn, they will count it as counterfeiting and scamming, at end they will ban you permanently.
Last week, ive sold an item on vinted, nike tshirt, print one.
The buyer didnt like it maybe, and send it back with clear worn signs, like some kins of food oil on it, i didnt accept the return, after almost 2 weeks of investigation, they didnt refund me, so i lost tshirt and throw it to trash.

Ive readed somewhere that many buyers scam sellers, like for example you buy from me a Tshirt, when you receive it, you declare that you received empty package, or some empty box full of trash or plastics, dont ever wait to get refund, you will lose money.

The worst customer support experience I've had. Promised a response within 48 hours, yet I was left waiting for over a month with no resolution. Poor communication, broken expectations, and no urgency when dealing with customer issues. Very disappointing.
They almost never make it easy to reach a solution when there's a dispute, they always ghosted both buyers and sellers.
I think because they are a popular platform, they don't care anymore about reviews from customers, they need the taste of bankruptcy . I wish I could attach pictures to show you how they ignore urgent matters

I bought a pair of shoes from a Seller but an old jacket came. Seller told me it wasn't his, either he was lying or the package was switched in the post office. I immediately messaged customer service and instructed me to wait for their investigation. After a week of their investigation, they said unfortunately they can't proceed because I completed the order process. So what's the point of their buyer's protection fee? Luckily the worth is paid was only less than 20€, but what if the item is 50€ and above? They will just apologize and tell you that unfortunately they can't procced anymore.

Vinted is working completely by AI, they not have any real people in customer service, everything is automated responses and very random. So any problems will never get solved in humanely way. I posted many times items that wasnt fake and vinted still insisted that its fake no matter what. Also I posted perfume bottles many times and it was full and unused, but some retards go report about it (IDK why, get a life!?) and they take action and deleted it by saying it is used item. Also if u sell too many items in short period of time some retards would again report u and u ether get banned or restricted for a long time. Sometimes someone reported me for having "low quality pictures" even though they wasn't and somehow almost half of my items needed to take photos again since vinted decided to take action on some retards means actions. Their decisions doesn't make any sense in any kind of way. They need real customer service with real people.

I don't recommend it, be careful. Some sellers don't act honestly.

I was kicked out although I was selling a product that is completely legal. They even replied that the case was solved and I could keep using my account. That was bs because the didn't activate my account despite my request. Very unprofessional, very suspicious. I prefer using more reliable platforms.

I don't recommend selling anything on Vinted unless you like spending on nothing. Usually Vinted works ok but if the Buyer does not pick up their order, you will spend so much unnecessary time and energy. Your item will be sent back to you to sell it again. BUT every like will be remowed when you want to sell it again so it is a lot harder to do so. You also have to pick it up from a post office and when it is selled again you have to go again there. You basically start selling it all again. The buyer gets back everything put the cost of the shipping. But the seller. They get NOTHING.

No protection for sellers.

I have sent a glass item which was packed very carefully and unfortunately it got broken during shipment. Yes the buyer got refunded but now i lost both money, time and the product. I have no compansation. Customer service tries to ask more proof but both buyer and me telling them, it was during the shipment. I will not be using this platform because they do not deserve to make money out of me if they are not protecting in bad cases.

The platform's idea is good, and on this platform you can really find good things to buy or sell yours profitably. But God forbid you have any problems with your parcels and have to contact customer service—you'll never get any help! Only automated responses, with no real desire to help. Customer service at Vinted simply doesn't exist—not at all! No matter how much you try to reach them, no matter how many messages you write- you will only waste your nerves and will not receive any compensation.
A customer bought boots from me on Vinted. The parcel was delivered from Finland to Poland, and then he simply didn't pick it up. The parcel was sent back. A few weeks passed, and Vinted closed the transaction, claiming the parcel was delivered to Finland and I didn't pick it up from the delivery point. But the parcel wasn't delivered to Finland, and the post office confirms this. Vinted ignores my messages, doesn't investigate the matter, and continues to tell me through automated messages that I need to deal with the post office myself to find out where the parcel is because I didn't pick it up from the delivery point.
And be careful—Vinted is full of fakes. This wasn't the case at the very beginning. But Vinted doesn't care about quality or customer service—it's all about profit!

Unprofessional company, customer service completely.. non-existant, sadly to say, they do not Do much, but sending authomatic replies. I managed to buy an LV 2025 xmas edition notebook ( Jane MM ), then I’ve changed my mind, thought I will sell it away.
However: My item was deleted just because they suspect it May be replica! I sent them more pictures of LV notebook, actual receipt, online receipt, limited edition, screenshots and link to the website- 8times!!!!! Just to prove that this has to change and end - bc I find it extremely incompetent - excuse me,it’s so upsetting!
Based on experience, I could state, that They don’t even check any receipts/ codes, they just claim item is suspected(!) To be a replica item- and restricted my account! Rediciolus! / But we all know they let replica Gucci and LV belts , mostly bad ones all over the site.. /
I almost got it through a month ago, saying I will take this further, and share all these on every socmed platform-then day later they sent another faulty message.
Funny thing: they literally let the other colored notebook a day before to be listed..

I had one of the most frustrating experiences ever on Vinted, and after this I will NEVER recommend the platform to anyone.

I bought a pair of Levi’s jeans that were listed with completely incorrect measurements (the seller wrote 100 cm length, but the jeans were actually around 94 cm and clearly shortened). When I opened a dispute with Vinted, they closed the case without even properly checking my photos or listening to my explanation.

To make it worse, the seller behaved rudely and refused to cover the return shipping costs – even though the mistake was entirely in their listing. According to Vinted support, they don’t compensate return shipping in such cases, which means the buyer ends up paying for the seller’s mistake.

So basically:
• Seller lied about the measurements
• Item was clearly altered/shortened
• Seller behaved in a rude and disrespectful way
• Vinted support closed the case and offered zero help
• Buyer pays return postage for the seller’s error

This whole experience was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional from start to finish. After this, I cannot recommend Vinted to anyone. The platform does NOT protect buyers, even when the seller clearly misrepresents the item.

I ordered a product but received the wrong product due to a mistake by the seller. Vinted required me to pay for the return myself, even though I had not made a mistake. I refused to pay the unreasonable fees, and now the seller has received full payment for a product I did not order. = i got scammed

Vinted works really works have been selling and buying only positive experiences 👍🏽 The customer support excellent very quick and helpful replies 💫 !

The app is full of scammers and buyer protection is just bullshit. The customer service does not care about what is written in their agreement. I have been scammed twice now.

When I wrote to the person who scammed me they mocked me in the chat saying Vinted will not do anything and sent me laughing emojis and hearts. They turned out to be right.

I will never buy anything again from Vinted.... This is so sad tho as I initially loved the app and the whole idea behind it.
