I had completed more than ten transactions on Tori and maintained an excellent user rating of 9.9. On the same day, someone even contacted me in the morning asking about buying my phone. Then, in the afternoon, I suddenly could no longer log into my account.

My account was disabled without any email, warning, or explanation. To this day, I still don't know what I supposedly did wrong.

It's very frustrating to have an account disabled without any transparency or communication. This is a really disappointing platform.

Their customer service is brainless.

Their system is a cheat and they charged me money for a service that I didn't receive and I lost 300 euros worth of goods because of their incompetent handling of my issue. They blame everything on the customer and their system lack all kind of simple verification.

First and last time to use their very very bad service. Be aware of this website/app, if you make a small mistake, you gonna lose your money/goods and it is full of scammers.

Customer service is something - somewhere - without a brain function. They allow others to list same items then others don't saying it's forbidden - it was not . Really it wasn't. After arguing with them 2 days back in forth they said I can finally list it... seriously! And they try to force Toridiili ! Not in the bl*"dy he**. TD is best way for buyers to scam sellers ! They don't do anything about those who agreed to pick up but never cancel . Those who are celled in Finnish: hupiostaja . They basically don't inforce good behavior. It's quite annoying that that this place is full with people who think it's perfectly ok for the seller to drive by 2 busses per direction or drive far to deliver some cheap home decor stuff ! This is all fault of site moderators because they don't teach enough of good shopping behavior.

ToriDiili claims to provide a secure service, but in my case the deal failed and I still lost money on the service fee (20.15 €).

Although the item was never successfully delivered and the transaction ended in a dispute, Tori refused to refund their fee. From a consumer perspective, this feels extremely one-sided and unfair.

The platform appears to protect its own fees more than ensuring a fair outcome for the buyer.

The case has been escalated to Finnish consumer protection.

Would not trust this service again.

German trying to buy something on the website. Can not verify my account due to missing finnish phone number and bank account. Asked support for help but they told me to open up a finnish bank account in order to purchase on their website.

Not possible to buy something when you don't have an local bank account!!

While trying to contact one of their advertisers they diverted me to this portal where they had all these foreign banks - none of which I have anything to with and to authenticate yourself they want you to use one of those and nothing else. I contacted their help desk about the issue then was given a bad link to follow.

So I send money to a seller via bank transfer, never heard back from the seller or got my gamw I paid for or my money back. I ask tori.fi customer service if they can check if the seller's account is active, literally only if the seller is login in or not. They refuse to disclose if the seller/thief is active on their platform. Shit customer service.

They remove adds and ask for receipt of some freaking Parfum to prove that it's original. Obviously it is but how many people actually save receipt. And in same time they don't ask receipt of fragrance what is sell for over 150 EUR hahah and this was actually 45 ...make it make sense! So someone contact them and said that I sell fake and just by assuming they remove my add. They actually do it constantly. They tired same crap with gold what I sold previously. S*ittiest customer service in Finland.

Tori USED to very useful and simple to use. No longer - they decided to OVER COMPLICATE it. It's new system is HORRIBLE! There was no advance notification of relisting times being drastically shortened to a pathetically short 2 weeks. As they did not offer a 'pause for holiday' setting, I removed my items for relisting on my return. I had over 100! I relisted half, but the rest I lost! I'm cross and disgusted with Tori about this! Thanks a bunch for nothing!! All that work in photographs and Finnish LOST!!! VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!

Have been trying to use tori for the past two years and it's always been a nightmare. Trouble with authentication, trouble with sending/receiving messages, won't let me send pictures etc. Disgusting. I've never used such a terrible marketplace. How is this the norm?!

As an online marketplace, this website has worked well for me when I have wanted to buy/sell stuff. They recently implemented the ability to authenticate oneself strongly using Finnish banking credentials and I think this will help reduce the risk of people getting scammed. I submitted some feedback about this feature and one of their developers replied the next day that they would take this up in their next meeting. I have no doubt that they take feedback seriously and want to improve in terms of user safety.

The worst ever techical support: incompetent, lying and covering up technical problems. Don't make the mistake of reporting them technical issues unless you want a warning or a ban. Without such a horrible customer service and after fixing the numerous bugs, this service might actually be usable and even good, but in the current state it's a nightmare.

Tori meni pilalle Schibsted-uudistuksessa. Myynnin kannalta hankalinta on, että ilmoitusten pitäisi roikkua 2-3k k ajan ennen kuin ne saa uusia ilmaiseksi. Ilmoituksen poistaminen & uudelleenpostaus ei onnistu toisin kuin vielä vuosi sitten.

Oikein klassikkoesimerkki siitä miten ensin järkevästi toteutettu sivu saanut koko maan suosion, mutta muuttuu täysin surkeaksi omistajavaihdoksen myötä, kun suuri suosio on jo saavutettu. Uudet yltiöahneet omistajat voisivat painua takaisin norjaan. Suosittelen käyttämään muita myyntialustoja niin saataisiin torin valta-asema kaadettua ja järkevämmät säännöt tilalle.

Really bad experience with tori.fi, they don't let me post an announcement saying that I must prove the item is mine, i send emails proving everything and they keep asking irrelevant questions and don't let me post

Complete shopping jungle. I had purchased an item after asking the seller about its condition. I offered to pay before receiving the item, as it is often required in Tori. I received the item and it was not in the condition the seller had confirmed in his messages. I contacted the seller to complain. Three times I reached out to him and he never responded. Then I contacted Tori and they took NO responsibility. At another occasion, a seller refused to meet with me so that I could try on a jacket she was selling. It would had been the best way to know if the jacket would be suitable for me. We lived in the same city and such a meeting would have not been unheard of. Not only did she decline but she actually became verbally abusive. This kind of bad attitude culminating to verbal bullying has happened to me twice in Tori. And of course I have also met lovely people. But Tori itself provides no protection from the rotten apples out there. And btw do not expect civility and politeness from most Tori sellers! There is no politeness code of conduct in Finland. A jungle!
