I have had some successful sales, both as a buyer and seller. Unfortunately, it isn't all rosey. Once an item I sold was "destroyed" during transit and didn't arrive with the buyer. Vinted customer s... See more

RIP off from start to finish
DO NOT USE!! I would give minus values if possible. I will never use Vinted again. I’ve been ripped off by them on too many occasions because they just do not investigate. Parcels have been lost, damaged or “returned to you” and are never seen again. This is beyond a joke. I’m glad they at least compensate the buyers but I am so out of pocket it isn’t worth wasting my time with them. They profess to be diligent but since they changed the sizing format almost nothing is as it is listed and they accept items with one photo and that doesn’t even have to show the item for sale. Customer service just doesn’t exist.
New Seller Accused of Fraud
As a new seller, I spent hours carefully photographing and listing three used evening gowns (and one unworn), including clear images of the brand labels and close-up photos highlighting minor flaws where threads had caught on sequins. Despite being completely transparent about the condition of the items (one of which was brand new and unworn but had been altered by a seamstress - this was clearly shown in a photograph), I was accused of fraud. My account was immediately closed.
I immediately appealed the decision, requesting both an apology and the evidence supporting such a serious allegation. Five days later, there has still been no meaningful response or resolution.
It's deeply concerning how quickly a platform can make such a damaging accusation without substantiating it, yet how slowly it acts when asked to justify or correct that decision. Sellers deserve a fair process, especially when allegations such as fraud are involved.
Great way to recycle ♻️❤️
Vinted has become my new hobby
Vinted has become my new hobby — honestly the best thing I’ve done. I’d been meaning to join for two years, and I’ve found the whole experience so relaxing and easy to use. Customers have been fantastic, the feedback has been amazing, and it’s all been genuinely very humbling. It’s lovely knowing the items I’m selling are being appreciated
If you have an issue don’t expect any support
If I could put no stars I would.
Parcel is stuck in an InPost locker. InPost need Vinted to verify the attempted postage of the parcel and Vinted refusing to engage or support in the matter. In fact take little interest in listening to the issue at all. No phone calls, no response to email just a robot like support agent with zero inclination to help. Waited over 10 days for a response when response times should be 48hours. Left with no money or parcel.

I'm new to Vinted and up to now I've had a good experience. Except I made a mistake by putting an item on for my partner. At the time I didn't know he'd already put it on his account and had inadvertently uploaded a commercial photo. Which I know is not allowed.
However now I've found some of my sales are under scrutiny and being put on hold. Which I feel a little unfair when there are other sellers uploading photos obviously not taken by themselves. I realise you have policies to follow but think this should be consistent.
Having said this I'm really enjoying selling and buying on Vinted and hope to do so for long time to come.
Many thanks Sue B
Block genuine items then relist them…
Block genuine items then relist them think they need to sort the checks out as you can clearly see on tags that people selling are fake
Garbage platform
Garbage platform, tried to sell one thing and got instantly banned for fraudulent activity, have tried to appeal but 2 weeks in and not had a response... Don't waste your time they are not worth it. Their un fair ban almost cost me over £100 in stuff I had purchased using this platform before I posted my item for sale
Vinted is the greatest invention shopping is theropysince…
Vinted is the greatest invention since the padded shoulder
Vinted is crap
Banning for no reason, not lifting the ban and not refunding for cancelled sales : theft at a different level for vinted . Wow I wonder how much more can you NOT do for your customers
Great Platform, But AI Moderation Needs Improvement
Overall, I've had a good experience using Vinted, but one issue is becoming increasingly frustrating.
When a listing is hidden because Vinted believes there may be a problem with the photos, the app says that once you make the requested changes, the listing will be reviewed and unhidden. In my experience, that simply doesn't happen. Even after making the requested changes, the listing remains hidden, leaving me with no choice but to delete it and create a brand-new listing from scratch. This means losing all the views, favourites, and momentum the original listing had built up.
The process feels heavily automated, with too much reliance on AI and not enough human review. Some of my listings were hidden despite using my own genuine photos. When I appealed, the responses also appeared automated and didn't address the specific issue I raised.
I hope Vinted improves this by ensuring corrected listings are actually reinstated after review and by involving human moderators where necessary. It would save sellers a lot of unnecessary time and frustration.
No respect
I use Vinted, because it's the only quick option out there. But they have very unclear rules and they change these rules on the go playing with people's money, time, intelligence and patience.
I am shocked and disgusted.
My new favourite form of therapy 😂
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Turns out selling my wardrobe is weirdly therapeutic
I’m very new to Vinted and joined after friends kept telling me I needed to start selling the frankly ridiculous amount of clothing I’ve accumulated over the years.
And annoyingly, they were right.
I’ve absolutely loved it so far. Clearing out my wardrobe has been strangely cathartic — every item sold feels like a tiny act of personal growth, except I also get some money back, which is obviously much better than actual personal growth.
Normally I give my old clothes to charity, and anything that doesn’t sell will still be donated, but Vinted has finally encouraged me to be ruthless and admit that perhaps I don’t need to keep every T-shirt I’ve ever owned because “I might wear it again one day.”
The best part has genuinely been the people. Everyone I’ve dealt with so far has been lovely. I’m still learning how everything works and have definitely had a few “WHAT DOES THIS BUTTON DO?” moments, but nobody has made me feel stupid for being new or not knowing the Vinted etiquette yet.
So far: wardrobe getting emptier, bank balance getting slightly healthier, clothes getting a new home and me becoming dangerously invested in packaging parcels.
Five stars. I fear this may now be my personality. 😂

Poor customer support that won’t adhere to their own policy
I’ve used Vinted for years and have both bought and sold items during that time. Everything has gone relatively smoothly up until a recent issue I’ve had with a purchase. I bought an item that was significantly not as described, the seller asked me to return it and I did immediately using a Vinted-supplied postage label. The item was delivered back to the seller and I was told unless they raised an issue, my refund would be started in 48 hours. After 48 hours of silence nothing happened, so I contacted customer service to ask when I should expect my refund. They suspended the order and said they would give the seller a further 48 hours to confirm if the return had arrived with them. I queried why they did this, as their policy said that I should have had a refund by now but they did not respond. That was 3 days ago now, I’ve not heard back, they won’t reply to further messages or requests for clarification, and I still don’t have my money back.
I have lost all trust in the Vinted customer support service and will unfortunately stop using Vinted.
I am very disappointed with Vinted
I am very disappointed with Vinted. I sent the right items to two different buyers, but both received completely different things. I couldn't contact support because I kept getting an 'Access Denied' error. No real help or investigation. Very poor support. I do not recommend Vinted.

I bought some trousers described as a size 16-18 when they arrived they were a size 12. When i told the seller she blamed vinted. So i put a despute in. One month later after i send numerous photos, vinted said that the description was correct so would not refund or give me the option of returning. Even though it clearly stated the size. Now i am stuck with trousers id be lucky to get a leg in. Customer services are a joke told me i should of asked for more information from the seller before buying 5 photos and a decription clearly was not enough info.I have since deleted the app.

my parcel was delivered at the address i dont know.
reported it to vinted and havent heard from them like well over a month now so i gave up as there non existing customer service.
be careful with this company if something goes wrong u just loose your money.!!!!
No existing customer service
Had a problem end of June where the wrong package went to a buyer. He opened a claim. Vinted didn’t not answer any mails or for any issues at all. Like they don’t exist as a company. There is no help for problems. There is no customer service. There is no solving any situations. They just taking and don’t care at all. So remember when something goes wrong there is 0 help from them. Your money is lost.
