there are several things I dislike about the app. The biggest one is that for me, the app and the website do not synchronize. I really tried to use it to upload things that I am decluttering. I am... See more

Customer service was nice and helpful
As a buyer
As a seller, Depop works for me. As a buyer, it's dreadful. Sellers rate items as excellent condition when in fact I'm getting some of the worst quality items I've ever purchased online. I purchased about 6 items and 5 of those went straight to the bin. There seems to be no seller standards on this platform.

They are about to get sued out of the wazoo for randomly banning accounts and not sending out their money it’s been a full month since I was randomly banned for no reason at all. I appealed and I just get a plain Jain auto response I’ll hear back within 72hrs I’ve made multiple attempts and I just receive the same answer. I read that the only way people get a resolution is by filing lawsuits against them
No support
To complicated for such a simple platform! No customer service help!
Horrible customer service several unpaid sales
I signed up to be a seller.. I sold 11 items, and ship them using Depop generated labels with tracking. Only five of those items were listed as delivered and I received payment the other six however I did not receive payment for the buyers were refunded because USPS never updated the delivery or posted the tracking numbers whatsoever. I followed up with the buyers and they receive the merchandise. I reached out to Depop to find out how I get made hole on this and I heard absolutely nothing. I would rather just donate locally then to go through hours of work and trips to the post office for free. I would avoid Depop based on their lack of any sort of customer service.
Great site&app to upcycle fashion
Love Depop
Love Depop! Customer service is on point. They respond quickly and handle your situation with a clear resolution.
TOM L is a leach
Horrible selling app block your account once you posted a item taken the money and the item only suspicious and fraudulent activity is depop doing I’ve reported these fraudsters to asics and other big brands to for allowing people to sell fakes they have a useless authenticity department and tom L is a leach
Buyer beware! All sales are final!!!
I’m not here to beg Depop for customer service. I am writing this to warn every single one of you: do not do business with this company. Depop doesn’t care about me, but they will care when their reputation tanks because they refuse to employ actual human beings.
I bought an item that was Significantly Not As Described (SNAD). The seller used deceptive filters and lighting to list a "new, cherry red" shirt. What arrived was a dull, washed-out maroon rag covered in white stains. The seller intentionally manipulated the photos to hide the defects and lie about the condition.
When I opened a dispute, Depop’s automated robot support closed the case with a literal shrug, basically saying: "You bought a red shirt, you got a red shirt. Case closed." I filed an official appeal over three weeks ago. Total radio silence. It has been a month of dealing with the Official Depop Customer Ghost and Neglect Department.
Depop's "customer service" is non-existent. It is an entirely automated joke that protects scammers and treats defrauded buyers like garbage. I was completely ripped off, and Depop thinks this is a great way to run a business. Save your money. Buyer beware.
As a seller you have zero rights
As a seller you have zero rights. Buyers can request refund & keep item. They are so difficult to contact & raise issue with & customer service poor. Had a shop for over 18 months with 5 star reviews. Will b going elsewhere.
3 appeals and no resolution
I have sent in 3 appeals after they suspended my account for something.I knew nothing about. And now I can't even get paid for what I have sold on the app. I just get an email after each appeal saying that they will get back in touch with me. And they never do. This has been going for 3 weeks now. So upset , I have now lost the clothes I sold , and the money that i'm probably never get. It is not fair to hold your pay because of an incident on their website. You still sold your merchandise so that money belongs to me no matter what.
Zero communication
I like the app. I like being able to swipe through things and search for deals. THE COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING! The only connection to the outside world is a poorly designed AI assistant. Communication with this company is the worst I've ever seen.

Depop is an absolute disgrace and a scam. I bought a jacket and I had to pay scamming Depop $18 fee ! And I ordered a Armani tshirt and I complained as it was not described and I waited almost 2 weeks for someone to email me back and they said I had to mail it back to the seller, wow really ? I have to pay to ship it back ? No thanks I’m done with this garbage business. If anyone has a class action lawsuit I hope you bleed them dry.

Depop is an Outstanding Platform
Depop is an outstanding platform and community, and I’m so grateful to have access! Customer service support is also top-notch, and even if it takes me a minute to understand policy, it’s all fabulous, consistent, and in service to the preservation and progress of the Depop community. I also really enjoy the addition of the digital canvas feature, both for showing “serving suggestions” for items I’m selling, and for getting fashion ideas from other members. Anyhow, I appreciate Depop so much!

I love the offer button but the only thing is there’s no customer service button to report a problem. This needs to change.
