Faulty Unicredit bank ATM machines in Slovenia

This review is for an ATM machine management in Slovenia (in Lucija on the Adriatic coast, in particular).
The machine "swallowed" my card and before even asking me to enter my PIN code, it crashed. "Sorry, this ATM is temporarily out of order. Please wait a moment" appeared on the screen. Nothing happened, my card has been locked in that ATM for a week already, and the Unicredit Bank staff is of no help. To them, everything is top secret, very sensitive and confidential information. The first agent I spoke to on the day this unfortunate incident happened, requested all my personal details (full name, residence address, temporary address, tax no. ID, phone, e-mail ... you name it. I duly provided them with all the information on the spot. Was promised to receive an update. Nothing. Later that same day, I sent an e-mail to all their addresses available on their web site. Found out that all their contact addresses and phone numbers are "top secret" and you can't learn anything. Not even a simple info on that particular ATM - has it been emptied and serviced already and when I can expect my card to be sent to my bank branch in Ljubljana. "Lady, you'd better ask your bank to issue you another card," was "the advice" I received. The "yours truly message" was signed simply by Unicredit Bank, like all their messages. No names, no care for clients, no responsibility for their own faults and faulty management and servicing their ATM machines. Beware, find another bank's ATM to improve your chances of withdrawing your own money. And last but not least - I am a resident, and a native citizen of Slovenia. And the place (Lucija on the Adriatic coast) is a tourist resort. I don't want to imagine the troubles a misfortunate tourist from any other EU country, Scandinavia, USA, Canada... (you name it) would encounter if something similar happened to them.

Seem the bank don't give a s...t about costumers reviews.
My Advice

They don't want you!

you probably will not believe it. After like, 3 years of being their client. With zero issues. Salary, transfers, utility payments, shopping. I asked to change the branch. From Milan to Toscana where I have transferred and have the residence. They said there is some technical issue in the app, so they cannot do it. And you know, in Unicredit, it is not like a one bank. Different local branches are like different banks, they dont provide services for clients from other cities (of the same brand "Unicredit', don't get me wrong! So they recommended me.... To close account and to open it in some other bank! No kidding! It happened today in Montecatini, guys! Thets the funniest thing I have ever heard. (to be fair, in Capannori they said something similar, but I thought they were dumb, I apologize, it is apparently the corporate policy)

Very Terrible Bank

Very Terrible bank especially if you don't have resident permit in Italy also not speaking Italian. I visited this branch and contacted one lady in the front first desk. She does not speak English and when I asked her to type in the google translate, she scolded me silently and not even willing to help. Just continuously screaming in Italian when I can't understand this language. Staffs are lacking even with their own procedure. They will just chase you out branch to branch. If you are not helping your customers why the hell you open an account for them. Just let them know in the beginning, this is not suitable bank for you.

Shitty bank

Shitty bank, last month I transferred the rent to my landlord and I did it successfully (via facial ID), this month I did the same and it said that the code I entered was wrong, after 2-3 attempts it blocked my card. So I go to the website, according to the instruction to unblock it, it all went successfully, then I returned to my phone app again it says I’m still blocked. Then I tried a few more times to restore my PIN code, at the end it says please contact your bank tomorrow. Man I have to work

I am writting regarding Slovenin branch

I am writting regarding Slovenian branch. I am EU citizen and wanted to open bank account; they asked for bunch of documents which I gave. They asked for tax number and confirmation that I am Slovenian tax resident. I provided them tax forms from last years I paid taxes which also included my tax number. They said that its not sufficient and I need specific paper from financial authority that says I am tax resident and that tax form with tax number is not proof that I am tax resident.

Have you ever heard bigger non sense? But it continues. Just when I thought it cannot get better I asked for investment opps and they said there are none so I asked about pension funds and the bank associate asked me “what it is”? 😂😂

I will leave up to everyone to make their opinion about professionalism in this branch.

Discriminatory employee

I'm a foreigner working in Rome. I can't speak Italian. I went to this bank to open a bank account, and the employee I was directed to said "You must speak Italian to open a bank account because all the documents are in Italian". I lived in Milan for more than two years, had a bank account there with no problems. Making up excuses to not do her job.

Fee Grifters, Beware!!

What a bunch of grifters. They charge you increasingly higher fees for no reason and later on they claim that you must have a higher capital inflow in order to reduce the service fees by 10%. Are you kidding me???
Guys please be vigilant and stay away from these grifters.

Bad services

I am a foreigner working in Rome. I opened my account with UNICREDIT 3 months ago. But, for no reason, my account has been blocked. I went to the Bank asking for an explanation and a resolution. The bank gave me very ridiculous reasons which until now I don't understand why my account has been blocked. Seemed that the bank tried to help unblock my account and told me that it might take 1-2 days to unblock my account. However, almost a week has been passing now and my account is still blocked. If within this week the Bank can not solve my problem, I'll close my account and find another bank with better services.
