last year they sent a message then cancelled it because wrong. This year days ago they communicate that may be the sum of interest they have delivered may be wrong. This is NOT serious!

Not for Expats
BBVA lures with great promotions, but as an Expat in Italy you can only benefit of it with either an Italian driver's license or Italian ID. This is not being told transparently from scratch but rather only made apparent after downloading the app, realising the ID check is not working and then calling their call centre - where I was told that nobody in the company speaks English with me. Direct written contact has confirmed that. Feels discriminatory and customer service definitely has a long way to go. PS: am EU citizen with EU driver's license

Review BBVA and Things Must be Improved
BBVA has been really great. With a very informative customer service. However, they should have an english speaking customer service in Italy (where I am reside). And also to have an option bank account statement in english where everything in English.

Excellent bank
I gave 5 stars as my experience with this bank was excellent. The opening of the account was fast and straight forward. I was given a bank account number immediately. In Addition, the current promotion is one of the best in the market.
