Horrible product and overcharged me without any way to go into my account and shut it off or contact anyone. Every attempt was met with "something went wrong on our end" please try again later" but the billing kept coming and charging my business card. Also the analytics are fake- stating 30 applicaants when we got 3

Indeed has become absolutely obsolete in the employee search market. Their tools are inadequate, and waste of time. Their customer service is horrific and outsourced mostly to 3rd world countries. TOTAL waste of time !!!!

Useless website, forces you to sell your data and open account just to SEE job offers. PATHETIC, NO WONDER NO ONE HAS ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THEM.
there's other websites that don't extort you to see a job offer, once companies won't get any applicants through Indeed they will stop working with them :)

Absolutely horrible experience, just because indeed is so paranoid about recruiters bypassing it's severally lacking automation features it flagged my account multiple times and at the end just froze my account and I was unable to access our 5000 applicants that we spent 3 months on. Just because of Indeed my position within my own department was severely compromised. There's only one other platform I found that address these issues called Oxbridge assessments but there's no news when they ship it

This company is advertising jobs that do not pay you! Stay away from this website as this complete fraud. You will waste months of working and not get paid! They are hungry money grabbing individuals who don’t even check the companies who are registering for the website! Highly do not recommend, use LinkedIn

True Statement regarding Indeed,
The site is bad all over the country! Repeatedly playing games on this site will worsen the weak economy, bad job opportunities, and racism. I will also pursue many fraudulent jobs on your site. I can guarantee that after reporting it to the authorities. It is a scam site, run by some scam leaders. Do not trust this website.
I've been using Indeed for about a month, and I'm genuinely surprised that such basic usability issues exist.
You can't sort jobs by distance, which feels like a fundamental feature for a job search app. I've also set my profile to hide jobs I'm not eligible for, such as roles that require a driving licence, but those jobs still appear in my search results, making those preferences feel pointless.
The job listing page also wastes a huge amount of screen space with an oversized header, so you end up seeing less of the actual job description than you should.
These aren't advanced features, they're basic quality-of-life improvements that you'd expect from a platform that's been around for years. The app has the potential to be much better, but it feels like obvious usability issues have been overlooked.

And there is a joke every time I put my location in all these random jobs come up. Nothing comes up. That is in my location. It's every day all day. It never works for me. It's ridiculous.

I had a bad experience using this platform, not only the job listing are questionable but whenever I applied to multiple companys out of for example out of 10 companies I rarely recieved any calls, much worse I had calls from unknown numbers, which are labeled spam whenever I submit my information. I'm out here hustling trying to find a decent jobs but what I got? SCAM CALLS!

INDEED does a lousy job of vetting job postings. THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT ON THE JOB SEEKERS SIDE - THEY PRIORITIZE THE FEES FROM PURPORTED "EMPLOYER" JOB POSTINGS - AND SO DO VERY LITTLE DUE- DILIGRNCE ON WEEDING OUT THE BS POSTINGS AND THE SCAMS.
Of 87+ jobs I applied to on INDEED from 02/05/2026 to 06/29/2026, only two responded. The first wanted to sell me a franchise, entailing zero up-front costs (a good sign - not a scam), but expecting me to accept zero income for 90-120 days as I built "MY" so called business, which they could pull at any time. Presented in the Job Posting as an Area Development position. WHAT THEY MEANT WAS: develop the area market for us and you'll keep it for awhile, until we decide to pull corporate ownership.
The second job posting was an out right fake check scam, hiring for a remote Executive Assistant role, based upon my not being selected for a remote position for a CANADIAN company. (So probably watch out for CANADIAN job postings. Watch out for a BENJAMIN RONZANO or a FIFENDEKEL PIE SHOP.... posting from Alberta, Canada.
This was such a blatant fraud scam that INDEED should have caught this. And any ethical company would have focused on scams against job seekers.
BUT NOT INDEED - COLLECTING FEES IS PARAMOUNT. And job seekers - well we'll always have them won't we?

Not a fan. When you do have to use it it's not very friendly to the employer, we spend a considerable amount of money to get hardly anything in return. Former employees are allowed to review you as an employer yet we're the ones funding the site and we're not allowed to review the employee. There should be a database that shows when people don't show up for job interviews. Or if they were employed with us, we should be able to review how their performance was to help other potential employers out.
Another issue is the smartsourcing. You spend over 500 bucks to get about a hundred leads to reach out to potential employees with. Little did we know that 4 days later the smartsourcing has expired and they charge you another $500 bucks for a fresh new 100 leads even though you didn't use the other ones yet.
One thing indeed is good at is taking your money though I will say that. I'll change my review if somehow they improve upon their site. Right now I'm just hoping I never have to use it
It seems like none of the jobs posted are real. Its a waste of time, I dont know why Indeed is still functioning. Why do they call themselves the #1 job site?

Indeed is not the same website it was a couple years ago. It seems Indeed's IT department totally wrecked their website. It used to be an orderly, easy to use website. Now it is in disarray. They should go back to the format they had four years ago.

Indeed has become increasingly frustrating and difficult to use. The search functionality is poor, and the platform often removes or resets useful search filters and keywords when making small changes to a search. This makes refining results unnecessarily time-consuming.
The job matching algorithm is also disappointing. Despite my search history and preferences, Indeed frequently places jobs at the top of the results that are completely irrelevant to my experience, interests, or qualifications. Instead of showing suitable opportunities first, I often have to sift through pages of unsuitable listings.
While Indeed has a large number of job postings, the user experience has declined. The layout of the site, where jobs are listed on the left, and the detail is presented on the right is awful.

am confused by the outcome of this process. My account was suspended, and after several inquiries I was referred to the appeals process. However, at no point was I informed of the specific reason for the suspension.
I do not understand how I can appeal a decision when I have not been told what conduct, action, or policy violation is being alleged. Throughout this process I have repeatedly asked for clarification, but I have received only general statements that the suspension will remain in place. Indeed by four has the most unorganized customer service or customer relationship about you or whatever you want to call it they're horrible

Absolutely a waste of time. No customer service 20 minutes hold time on the phone. Loolking for a beauty therapist all i get is receptionist and nail techs. Rubbish company

Absolutely appalling experience. The website is incredibly frustrating to use. When I'm logged into my account, job searches return little or nothing, yet performing the exact same search while logged out suddenly displays numerous vacancies. This makes the platform feel unreliable and potentially causes users to miss genuine job opportunities.
If this is due to account settings or a technical issue, it needs fixing urgently. A job search website should make finding work easier, not harder. Extremely disappointing.

seems a waste of time, applied for numerous jobs, have the relevant experience for all and only a few were ever viewed, plus when looking at the application history its telling me i have only applied for 4 jobs and its well over 15, not sure if its AI ran now but it does ask for some really bizarre experience when it has nothing to do with the job advert, ie went to apply for a job in a shoe shop asks me if i had gardening experience, not sure where they got that from, it used to be a great site years ago but not so much anymore.
