The Indeed Website is far from Adequate
I found the Indeed website very frustrating to use. Firstly I had to give a lot of personal information to the site to even be able to search for jobs. I feel that that is very unnecessary. Secondly 99% of the job postings did not match my job title. I also put in the desired wage and EVERYTHING that came up was much lower. That goes along with the desired location (I put Langley, BC) and there were A LOT of job postings that were much further (as far as Kootenays ). Applying a job is very difficult as well. The site insists that you add so much information that is just annoying and unnecessary.
I want to delete my account and discontinue using Indeed. However, contacting them is a complete nightmare and nearly impossible. All in all , I would not recommend using them, as it is a complete waste of time.
The site could be massively improved if it was more accurate in job title, wage and distance location. It could also be improved if you could just select a job title and simply just have the opportunity to upload the resume and cover letter (possibly reference letters ass well if appropriate).
All in all this site is not adequate to say in the least and I would not recommenced to anyone.

Indeed keeps rejecting my work reviews and Indeed has no jobs on there just bot jobs that re not real. I have seen the same job posted over and over again for over 2 years. It's a fake site and a waste of time.

Frustrating
Frustrating. I repeatedly tell the button to stop showing me certain jobs and it doesn't ever work. Now I don't even get new postings when I check in a week later but if I search the same term, I get the new ones. Yes, there are companies that prefer to advertise on Indeed but there is no user benefit for those looking on this site from the way the interface is designed.

Obnoxious employer verification. They ask for a billion of company docs and information and reject. What's the point to waste people's time to not accept legitimate businesses. Please don't even bother writing your reply about "protecting your customers". You're just wasting people's time by rejecting legit businesses

Garbage company
Garbage company. They treat all their employer account users like they are scammers. They will want document after document and then still reject. Wasted 1 month asking for different document that were all completely legitimate from a business we have been running for 15 years. Still, rejected.

Absolute worst support
Absolute worst support, glitchiest app. Applying for jobs is a chore on Indeed, it's completely convoluted and buggy. Asking for tech support is like pulling teeth. Use glassdoor, linkedin, ziprecruiter, NEVER use indeed. Absolute total trash website.

every time i apply for certain jobs i end up with spam and scam emails and phone calls from numbers that
don't exist. They must have indians working there. They let anyone on their site with no real proof that they are employers.it is another platform for thieves.

This has been a complete rip-off.
My experience with Indeed Employer has been extremely disappointing.
I was initially charged for CVs that were completely unrelated to the job I advertised. After raising the issue, an account manager assured me that changing the job category would resolve the problem. He then advised me to create a new advert with a daily budget of £57, explaining that I could pause the advert at any time and that it would generate relevant candidates.
Unfortunately, the outcome was very different. In less than 24 hours, I was charged £120, so I paused the advert immediately and contacted support. Despite this, I was charged a further £161.80 for a single CV that was not relevant to the role.
I found the support I received to be poor, and my concerns about the billing were not properly addressed. I felt that the costs escalated far beyond what I had been led to expect, and I am still seeking a full explanation and resolution.
Based on my experience, I would advise other employers to monitor their spending closely, carefully review the relevance of the CVs they are being charged for, and ensure they fully understand the billing process before committing to a sponsored advert.
