The most outstanding customer care I ever experienced.
I wish I could give more stars
repost with the case number at the bottom
Aside from the bugs and short battery life, my Beoplay EX earbuds had excellent sound quality, so I could have given them 3 stars... But that was before I dealt with the disastrous customer service. I filed a warranty claim, they sent me the shipping label, and I followed all the instructions to the letter. After three weeks with no word, I checked the tracking and realized the package had ended up in Italy instead of going to Germany. Maybe it’s DHL’s fault, but it’s still up to B&O to take the necessary steps to resolve the situation in cases like this, since DHL is THEIR partner. Instead of trying to do anything, Bang & Olufsen told me that the shipping label (THEIR OWN!) that I sent them to help resolve the problem was “fraudulent” (what!?) I tried to figure out what that meant, but all I got was, “We are unable to assist you further at this time.” At this day none of this is solved, this warranty request just ended up causing me to lose my earphones.

I first purchased a pair of Bang & Olufsen earphones in 2019 and, unfortunately, I have experienced problems with them ever since. I am now sending them off for repair for the fourth time, which is completely unacceptable for a premium product at this price point.
The recurring issue is that the audio continually cuts in and out in both headphones. Despite multiple repairs, the problem keeps returning. For a brand that markets itself as a luxury audio manufacturer, I would honestly expect far better reliability. In hindsight, I would have been better off buying a much cheaper pair of headphones that simply worked consistently.
My experience with customer service has also been disappointing. Responses to emails were slow, and when DHL failed to collect my parcel, I contacted customer service for assistance but received little help. In the end, I had to phone them myself to get the collection arranged for what are already defective headphones.
Given the high purchase price, poor reliability, and frustrating customer service experience, I would not recommend Bang & Olufsen headphones. Sadly, this experience has also put me off purchasing any other B&O products in the future. Quality and service should match the premium price tag, and in my experience they simply haven't.

I bought a pair of brand new Beolab 8 from Amsterdam B&O, back to Houston, Tx on 13Jun'26. Found 1 speaker with sound distortion, contacted Customer support, and was provided B&O authorize USA repair shop [Adam's electronics] in California.
Its been 2months and I'm still not informed when I'll be returned with a functional product
17Jun - Shipped defective speaker from Houston to California.
19Jun - Adam's electronics received.
24Jun - Called Adam's electronics to ask of status. Was informed cannot find any distortion. i shared video file of the sounds distortion.
26Jun - Called Adam's electronics to ask of status. Was informed require a week to test, and if cannot replicate defect, will be returned to me. I questioned why would it not be Adam's electronics to assess repair support or replacement with B&O, to which they afterward respond they would.
26Jun - I called B&O support to clarify process of repair / replacement policy. And shared sound distortion video file.
28Jun - B&O support replied that my case has been forwarded to B&O technical department for review.
11Jul - I received the speaker back from Adam's electronics with sound distortion not fixed. I informed both B&O support and Adam's electronics with video file proof.
11Jul - Adam's electronics requested the unrepaired defective speaker be returned to Adam's electronics for further repair.
16Jul - B&O support informed me that B&O Customer Care Management has been provided with the information and will ensure my defective speaker is resolve. [ref B&O support ticket 1542451]
18Jul - I wrote to B&O CEO feedback channel, ref 1550435 and narrated the subpar services that I'm experiencing from the global premium brand. I received reply to acknowledge my frustration and was assured that B&O will work directly with Adam's electronics to get the matter resolve.
31Jul - I messaged Adam's electronics to ask of status. Adam's electronics replied that they have exhausted all options but cannot fix the woofer bad seal that's creating the noise. Adam's electronics also said they've initiated communication with B&O on possibility of exchanging the unit.
05Aug - I replied the CEO email trace 1550435 to informed of Adam's pending update from B&O. i received a new support ticket 1555602 replying that they'll check with B&O Customer Care Management team. I've asked for estimate to when i will get a response from B&O Customer Care Management, after few back-forth emails, with much reluctance, B&O support responded to be within 5 business days, but no guarantee.
07Aug - at time of writing. I've begged but still waiting for status of my paid brand new product...

I had an issue with my headphones, and the support I received from Bang & Olufsen was exceptional. The team was easy to communicate with, highly accommodating, and handled everything professionally.
I have rarely experienced customer service of this standard in the consumer electronics industry. Bang & Olufsen products may cost more than comparable alternatives, but the outstanding after-sales service and customer care make the premium feel justified.

Extremely disappointing experience with a £1,450 pair of Beoplay H100 headphones.
I’m honestly at the point where I’ve completely lost patience with Bang & Olufsen.
I bought a £1,450 pair of Beoplay H100 headphones and started the returns process over a month ago. What should have been a really simple return has turned into an absolute nightmare.
I originally sent the headphones back using the return process provided by Bang & Olufsen. The parcel then went missing while it was with UPS and was apparently sitting with them for around 3 weeks. After all that time, instead of being delivered back to Bang & Olufsen, the parcel was eventually returned to me.
At this point, I thought the obvious thing would be for Bang & Olufsen to simply arrange another collection and let me return the headphones again. But apparently not.
Instead, I’m now being told that Bang & Olufsen are investigating why the original return went missing with UPS, and I have to wait for that investigation to be completed before I’m allowed to return the headphones again.
I honestly don’t understand how this makes any sense. The headphones are literally back with me. I have them ready to return. Why am I having to wait for an investigation into what happened to the original parcel before I’m allowed to send them back again?
The whole process has now been going on for well over a month, and I’m still sitting here with a £1,450 pair of headphones that I don’t want, despite having tried to return them weeks ago.
The solution seems incredibly simple: arrange a collection, have the headphones sent back to the warehouse, check them and issue my refund. Instead, I’m being left waiting while Bang & Olufsen and UPS investigate what happened to the original return.
As a first-time Bang & Olufsen customer, this has been a really poor experience, especially after spending £1,450. I genuinely don’t understand how it can take over a month just to return a product, particularly when the product is now back with me and ready to be collected.
This could have been resolved so easily, but instead I’ve been left chasing this for weeks with no clear resolution. Very disappointing experience from a company I expected much better from.

After over 2 weeks of going backwards and forward I am no closer to an acceptable resolution. I basically have a product that has been used 5 times and then put in storage. I went to had it and it’s completely dead. No amount of recharging will make it work. I am really disappointed as I chose B&O as I thought the engineering and components would be far superior. Customer service offered me a 10% discount on another pair of ear buds. I can get 30% from a Independant retailer. I would not recommend this company’s products based on my experience.

This company really miss the whole point. It’s like they are have a scripted reply, and can’t deviate at all from that. There is no mitigating circumstances. It’s pretty poor.

Even though I purchased the earbuds some time ago. They went into storage after about using five times. Come to use them again recently, pristine condition, case still smells of leather. They wouldn’t charge no matter what I tried. Spoke to customer service, didn’t get anywhere and wasted my time. No where on their website or in the instruction does it mention they have to be charged on a regular basis. I thought the engineering and components I was buying would be superior to a £22 pair off of Amazon. I was wrong. Really disappointed with the whole saga. I wouldn’t buy or recommend B&O products. This isn’t sour grapes it’s just truthful facts.

This Beosound Explore is a masterclass in terrible design and userinterface from hell.
The app is completely useless and can’t even show basic Bluetooth battery status unlike bottom-tier speakers manage effortlessly. The button controls make no sense. Having to hold the power button just to turn it off is deeply annoying, and auto-powering on the second you plug it in to charge is just stupid logic.
On top of a garbage user experience, the build quality is trash, I’ve had to send two units back for repairs already. It’s an infuriating, poorly made waste of money. It only looks pretty.

I had a Beoplay A1 from the first generation. The first generation notoriously had a factory defect with the speaker (fartly bass), at least that is what I was told by the salesman when I brought it in store. He advised me to contact the client service, which told me they wouldn't replace my Beoplay A1 because it was not under guarantee anymore. Unbelievable, especially for a so-called high-end brand. B&O doesn't even take responsibility for their factory defects. Only thing I was offered was a 30% voucher to buy a new one... So basically, their product is faulty (and they know it), yet I have to buy it a second time. Long story short, I did not.

I am extremely disappointed with this companies customer after care. I bought Beo Grace earbuds that cos 1K the earbuds them selves are fantastic but the case is made in china that looses battery daily at least 1% I contacted them to ask if I can the free offer they have added after about a month for a free power bank with you Beo Grace order. I was told no. This is a very disappointing service.
These earbuds are extremely expensive in comparison to apple and even their next line of earbuds. I wouldn’t be so disappointed if the case wouldn’t drain so quickly.

I find it extremely disappointing that a pair of headphones which still retail at £300, fail after 3.5 years. Ie 6 months out of warranty. Not good value for money. And then to be offered 30% 0ff a £420 replacement pair. Don't think I'm wasting any more money on B&O.
After posting this review, B&O contacted me for more info, however they have not changed their offer. So my opinion remains unchanged.
To B&O team re latest edit. You have my details. And have made your views very clear - you are not changing your mind . I'm not sure what else there is to say.

A company that takes your money and won’t support you when they sell you expensive products that don’t work, stay away from these overpriced 3rd rate products and rude ignorant sales people
They are great at not owning the issue and basically say bad luck we have your money and don’t care about your situation

I paid retail $3.2k yeah I am a fool for paying this much for headphones but look at IEM high end you are looking at $10k~$20k for custom fit high end and yeah they are worth it. B&O H100 headsets are built with terrible material. 6 months old and look terrible and no I look after my headphones. B&O support just sent them back to me after I complained and wanted a warranty call as I own, from original release, H8i, BeoPlay Portal, HX, Beo Grace and H100. These are ordered by cost. Ever set is B&O and only these sand coloured headphones are terrible. I have the timber coloured HX so waiting for that to fall apart too. Seems black is the only colour that is built right. DO NOT BUY ANY OTHER COLOR THAT BLACK. I can’t upload photos but I wish I could.

My headphone was never delivered after waiting for over two weeks. It’s been 14 business days and the funds have not been returned. Stay away from this brand!
