After you have already decided to purchase an expensive item "what is 10% more?". Might be an accident, but when accidents are that self-serving I count that as a difference without distinction.

Hopeless customer service
Hopeless customer service! I ordered a UTi712S temperature camera on 18th of march, which finally arrived one full month later. Upon arrival the unit didn't boot up as expected, so I started a process with CS Megastore to get it fixed. I sent it back, and got informed that it needed to be shipped to the producer. One month later I get notified that it is received and in proess. Then another month passes, and i get notified on 26th of june that they have received another type of temperature camera from me than the one I originally ordered, and thus they cannot help me. They also decline my wish to cancel the buy.
Ridiculous slow customer service where I on top of that find myself without any rights whatsoever.
My advice? Stay clear, theres a lot of other shops out there that actually understand basic customer service. CS Megastore seems helpless.

Thank you for sharing your experience.
I would like to start by apologising that this has turned into such a poor experience for you. This is certainly not our intention.
I would also like to explain the process in this case. When we received the product, we forwarded it directly to the service centre appointed by the manufacturer, as we knew in advance that this type of product must be handled by them. We did not inspect the product ourselves before sending it on, as we naturally trusted that the correct product had been returned to us for the warranty claim.
When the service centre inspected the product, they informed us that the camera received was a different model from the one we had originally sent you and expected to receive back for the warranty claim. The product was then returned to us, and we simply forwarded it to you. I have to agree with you that we should have taken the initiative and contacted you at that point, rather than waiting until you had received the product back. This is why the process has taken so long.
I can see that you are currently in contact with our customer service team, as we are still missing some information from you in order to investigate the matter further and move forward with the case.
We apologise again for the long processing time and hope we can find a solution as soon as possible.
