Avoid MailerLite at all costs. They charged us a substantial subscription fee upfront, allowed us to send just one email, and completely terminated our account on our second send without prior warning or valid evidence. They offer zero fair appeal, shut off support, and keep your payment without delivering the service you paid for. An extremely unfair platform that takes your money and locks you out. Do not waste your budget here.
I'm so happy I moved back to MailerLite. I had switched to a competitor a few years ago because they had a lot of landing page templates. But after they hiked their prices without offering more value, I came back. MailerLite is so much better for managing my list and sending emails, and their support team is always super helpful.
I have a new small business with a very small, fully legitimate email list. I set up my first campaign today and, after the system was wasting my time for HOURS saying it was in "review", the system came back and said it was terminating my account for violation of service terms. It is completely nonsensical - I have actual email sign-ups (only 127!!) and a normal email blast to them - yet MailerLite has flagged me as a spammer - which I am definitely not - and terminated my account. I wasted a whole day on them trying to get this email sent. Find a different email service - this one is garbage with no actual brain behind it.

They will terminate you without asking for proof.
We have legitimately gathered our subscription list (mind you, merely 200 from our entire company). Essentially just because it was not using mailerlite subscription module, our account got banned.

If you are a business owner relying on MailerLite to build and host your landing pages, be warned: this platform can silently change its URL routing structure overnight, severing your links, killing your traffic, and destroying years of hard work without any advance notice or automated fallback.
Here is what happened to my business: Since September 2020, I meticulously built a comprehensive network of landing pages hosted on MailerLite’s default URL structure (subscribepage*io/slug.
These links were indexed by search engines, embedded across media outlets, and shared across external content and client networks.
Recently, MailerLite unilaterally changed their system's URL structure to account-based subdomains. Instead of setting up simple 301 server-side redirects to preserve historical traffic, they completely killed the original links. Every single link I built over the past 6 years began serving a 404 "Page Not Found" error, driving away clients and causing massive financial and reputational damage.
When I contacted their customer support expecting a technical resolution, the experience was appalling:
Deflecting Responsibility:
Support agents repeatedly tried to claim no changes occurred on their end, ignoring direct evidence that their own servers were returning 404 pages on subscribepage.io.
Zero Technical Understanding:
They suggested I edit DNS records at my own domain registrar for subscribepage.io—a domain that they own and control, which is technically impossible for a client to do. Aggressive Upselling During a Crisis:
Their "solution" to fix the broken infrastructure they caused was telling me to upgrade to a paid subscription to publish multiple pages and manually fix the routing.
If a platform can casually invalidate primary URLs without notice, force users into months of agony trying to manually track down broken links, and then attempt to monetize the disaster they created, it is definitely not a place where business owners can rely on or entrust their business to - even for landing pages that are otherwise easily replaceable.
Free tier users are future paying customers, but MailerLite’s complete lack of accountability, inconsistent practices, and total disregard for user trust make them utterly unreliable.
Proceed with extreme caution if you care about your business continuity—or simply choose any other email provider.
Terrible customer service. Good luck trying to get a human.
I was about to upgrade my subscriber package when the card I had was declined. I tried to resolve it and Mailer Lie shut me out and I have not been able to contact anyone since.
What a joke!
Going back to Mailchimp. At least I know I can contact a human there.

I accidentally messed up our whole email list trying to send out a shop update the other day... but their chat support had it restored in like ten minutes. It is just a massive relief to finally get past an automated bot and talk to a real guy (Marvin) who actually gave me the fix. Good honest tool for a mom and pop trying to reach the Locals without crazy overhead.

Their customer service is top notch. I emailed them a question I had and they emailed back so quickly and Diego helped resolve my issue. After having issues with other companies customer service to no avail, it was so nice to have a fast response that really helped.

Great for starting out easy, simple to us with loads of great features that look good and great customer support

Decent UI, its main quality. Inaccurately identified unsubscribes and hard bounces and removed them from our list (our list very high quality opt-in only). Support is quick to provide inaccurate information and lecture customers on email hygiene, and must be pushed to actually address isses of any complexity.

MailerLite is super responsive any time I’ve needed support. I usually hear back with a few hours and they are efficient in troubleshooting and solving issues. Great customer service!
I had a great experience with MailerLite's support team. We accidentally deleted a large number of subscribers during an active ad campaign, and Kiks and Jordi were incredibly helpful throughout the process. They restored all of our deleted subscribers and clearly explained what would happen with our custom fields, UTM data, group assignments, and contacts who had re-subscribed in the meantime.
The communication was clear, friendly, and reassuring, and most importantly, they solved the issue successfully. I really appreciate the care they took with data that was very important to us. Thank you so much for the support!

MailerLite utilized a major bait and switch with their long term clients, and no one is fooled by this "loyalty 30 day trial" where they can get what they used to get for what they used to get it for before they start being billed more or receive 1/4 the amount of service for the same price or higher. The irony is in calling this a "loyalty" thing - they realize their clients have been loyal, are taking advantage of that, and are showing no loyalty of their own TOWARD their customer. Loyalty goes both ways. If the customers relationship is how the owner of this company treats his/her marriage, I would image they have cheat on their spouse regularly while expecting their spouse to be faithful to them. This is no way to treat long term customers and may as well be spitting in their face while pretending you're doing them a favor. Really poor move there.

This used to be the best EMS around. Originally, they gave you unlimited automations and sign-ups and up to 1000 subscribers for free and their customer service was great. I was happy to pay the low fee when my list was over 1000.
But when my list dropped below 1000, I decided to switch back to free and everything was fine.
Then Mailerlite did their rug-pull.
First, the free subscriber limit went from 1000 to 500. Okay, sucks. But I rolled with it.
Before I had a chance to process this change, they did ANOTHER rug-pull. And they halved the free subscriber limit again. From 500 to 250.
And what are they giving us in exchange? A bunch of AI crap no one asked for and no one wants.
What's worse, is they also removed the automations. So now when I'm trying to migrate to another place, they've made it so I can't even ACCESS my automations.
Go with Sender or Kit. Both offer FAR more generous free plans.
The philanthropy where I have volunteered for over 10 years has a MailerLite free account which I manage. We have a free account because we cannot afford to pay recurring fees. Today, I discovered that ML had (yet again) reduced the number of subscribers allowed for a free account. So I thought, OK, I will pay for the account out of my own pocket. So I did that, via PayPal. First MailerLite accepted my payment. Then they decided, for reasons unknown, to completely shut me out of the account that I and I alone, have personally managed for over 10 years. What is with these people? They don't want you to have a free account and they don't want you to pay for the same account. Customer service???? Forget it. There is absolutely positively no way on earth to contact anyone to resolve an issue. These people have taken the NO SERVICE mantra and raised it to a fine art.
The program itself is very easy to learn. We love using it for newsletters for our quilt guild. And if ever we need help someone usually answers my email in a day or two. And price is very reasonable too.
