Delivered exactly on the day scheduled - kept well informed - arrived early in the day to let me get on with things.

I can thoroughly recommend Michael and Now EV who have recently installed 18 solar panels, a Sigenergy battery and gateway. The whole process from initial contact through to installation and handover has been so professional and this is all down to Michael's responsiveness, attention to detail, and his open and friendly communication style.

When I first investigated solar I initially got a quote from my energy supplier who was reasonably responsive and provided a boiler plate proposal. I followed this up with another mainstream solar provider and experienced much the same process. Someone recommended Now EV and I decided to get one more quote. As soon as I got in touch, Michael responded promptly and through email/messaging we progressed a couple of options - Tesla or Sigenergy both at slightly competitive prices compared to my previous quotes. What clinched the deal for me was Michael's willingness to respond to all the questions I had displaying a thorough knowledge of the processes and technology. He applied no pressure when I initially decided to delay.

When I then decided to go ahead, he arranged a site visit and meeting him in person confirmed my view of his professionalism. I had long thought of the difficulties of the cable runs on my particular property but we worked out a neat and least intrusive solution.

Michael and team turned up on the exact day that we had initially scheduled months earlier and completed the installation quickly and professionally. He had previously initiated all the G.99 application process, and within a few days after the installation he provided MPAN number, MCS certificate, and G.99 approval letter. I used these to apply for my export tariff with my provider and within a week I was being paid for all the excess solar energy being generated. Shortly after that I received a complete and comprehensive handover pack.

Bought a Jack Wolfskin jacket at half list price on Boxing Day - arrived a few days later.

After a frustrating week where I was unable to switch my tariff through an email exchange with Octopus support, and also a weird phantom email from Octopus saying I would be charged an amount on 3rd May 2026 (it’s currently December 2025) which which did not relate at all to my current payment or balance, I finally got someone on the support line who gave me everything I needed to make the switch immediately online. Thank you!

Fibre lost signal and I booked an OpenReach engineer to come the next day. Engineer was excellent, diagnosed a fault and pulled a new fibre to the house.

Objective assessment of pre-existing medical conditions and a reasonable quote.

Easy to order at a good price. Able to select next day or alternate day delivery. Kept up to date on delivery schedule. Even though mattress was large and heavy the delivery team was able to get it up to room of choice.

Liked the fact that I now have a new fibre connection to the home. I was a bit disappointed with the finish of the trench across my lawn. Also there was a lack of covers/boxing where the connection was made through the front wall. I had to buy some covers myself and fit them.

Found via Kayak and then picked Crystal. Booked a Virgin Atlantic economy light flight that included a carry on small suitcase. When the confirmation came through it said hand bag only - I was a bit worried so phoned to query. Rebecca got in touch and after a bit of discussion we established that the ticket did indeed include the luggage size (23 x 36 x 56cm) I needed!

Had some initial problems with the comparison website linking me to Peppercorn but tried again later and it worked. Logical set of Q&A that also conveyed key information as it went and asked for a few extra confirmations.

Ordered a 25m Lumos LED light and fixing strips. As it happens the fixing strips didn't suit my installation (though would work in other situations I'm sure) so the light was fitted using a different method. I returned the fixing strips and received a full refund.

I ordered a pair of Merrell boots that I was having trouble sourcing. Hardloop offered a competitive price and though based in France offered a delivery time within a week (even though order placed on a Friday). I received the item on the following Thursday exceeding expectations!

Used this to get a £10 amazon voucher when buying £60 worth from Robert Dyas. All worked fine and pleased to have topped up my Amazon balance!
