I can thoroughly recommend Michael and Now EV who have recently installed 18 solar panels, a Sigenergy battery and gateway. The whole process from initial contact through to installation and handover has been so professional and this is all down to Michael's responsiveness, attention to detail, and his open and friendly communication style.

When I first investigated solar I initially got a quote from my energy supplier who was reasonably responsive and provided a boiler plate proposal. I followed this up with another mainstream solar provider and experienced much the same process. Someone recommended Now EV and I decided to get one more quote. As soon as I got in touch, Michael responded promptly and through email/messaging we progressed a couple of options - Tesla or Sigenergy both at slightly competitive prices compared to my previous quotes. What clinched the deal for me was Michael's willingness to respond to all the questions I had displaying a thorough knowledge of the processes and technology. He applied no pressure when I initially decided to delay.

When I then decided to go ahead, he arranged a site visit and meeting him in person confirmed my view of his professionalism. I had long thought of the difficulties of the cable runs on my particular property but we worked out a neat and least intrusive solution.

Michael and team turned up on the exact day that we had initially scheduled months earlier and completed the installation quickly and professionally. He had previously initiated all the G.99 application process, and within a few days after the installation he provided MPAN number, MCS certificate, and G.99 approval letter. I used these to apply for my export tariff with my provider and within a week I was being paid for all the excess solar energy being generated. Shortly after that I received a complete and comprehensive handover pack.

Like I said, I thoroughly recommend Michael and Now EV - a refreshing customer experience!

I am always a little suspicious when I see companies with nothing but 5 star reviews. However, after seeing Michael's work I can absolutely see why and they are completely justified.

I had been interested in purchasing a home battery system for a long time in order to run my home on off-peak electricity during the day. Now EV are very local to me so I thought I would approach them for a quote. Although there are many horror stories online about various installers (both large and small companies) I figured that given that they are based around the corner from me they were worth a go.

Initially I was enquiring based on a Tesla Powerwall system. Michael actually listened to what I was asking about but advised me to go with a Sigenergy system and also to add solar panels and I am so glad he did. The system he proposed wasn't the cheapest out there but it was certainly the best value for money. That is the best thing about speaking to a smaller company, the service is much more personal and you will get what you actually need instead of having them just selling the systems they want to sell.

The system has been in place for almost a month now and although I am yet to receive my first bill, I already know it is going to be practically zero, probably even negative. Granted, it is July but I have been able to run my home purely on solar all month and with my export tariff just going live a few days ago, I have already earned enough back to cover the standing charges. The feeling of having a zero bills home is absolutely amazing!

As for Michael's work, he took care of the entire G99 application himself including chasing the DNO without prompting, the installation was as non-intrusive as possible and the cable runs were extremely neat. Obviously the power had to go off at some point but it was only for a few minutes and plenty of warning was given as my wife and I both work from home.

I am already considering expanding the system and will have no hesitation in going straight back to Michael when the time comes to do so.

From start to finish, Now EV were exceptional.

I carried out extensive research and asked a great many questions before committing to the project, and Michael was always patient, knowledgeable, and diligent in answering every one of them.

This was far from a straightforward installation. The system included solar PV across three roof elevations, battery storage and a gateway located in a remote garage requiring cable trenches, and an EV charger supplied via a separate new electrical feed. Despite the complexity, the project was scheduled around eight weeks in advance and I was advised that all works would be completed within four days.

True to their word, the installation team arrived at 8:00am on day one, with scaffolding erected and work commencing immediately. Four days later, the installation was fully complete. The scaffolding was removed on day five, and my MCS certification arrived on day six.

I can genuinely say that, of all the contractors I have used, Now EV have been the best. The standard of workmanship was first-class throughout, communication was excellent, and everything was left immaculate and tidy at the end of each day.

I would not hesitate to recommend Now EV to anyone considering solar PV, battery storage, or EV charging installations.

For context, I obtained five quotations before proceeding. Now EV were the second-lowest priced, yet in my view represented outstanding value for money and were worth every penny.

Excellent service from Now EV. We used them for both our solar installation and EV charger, and the whole experience was prompt, professional, and faultless. The cabling and trunking, were finished to a very high standard, and everything was installed with real care. they even fixed a couple of tiles and our broken drainpipe, neither of which were broken by them. So went above and beyond what was required. We would definitely recommend them.

They installed our electric charger efficiently, did a great job, and checked in afterwards to make sure everything was working properly and that we were happy. Would definitely recommend!
