Some difficulties with my original contact with Vidaxl regarding some missing parts but Customer Services contacted me almost immediately to resolve the problem. Following this contact, my issues were resolved quickly and efficiently with regular updates and contact from Customer Services. You need to be an experienced diy to asemble this bed.
I didn't know the bed would be in so many pieces I have never purchased a bed like this before the average person would not beable to assemble it was a 4ft bed base in green velvet.

The cabinet looked lovely
The cabinet looked lovely. It arrived well packaged and was easy to put together with the pieces fitting well and no missing parts. However each main panel had a noticeable split in in. Not a manufacturing fault per se rather the wood used on the doors and drawer front had dried and split. I treated the wood with a wax oil to protect it and add some much needed finish. Disappointing for the money as overall it is a nice piece of furniture. I decided to keep the item as it is not in a prominent place but overall i cant recommend it as quality control appears to be lacking.

Due to the item being delivered to an unknown address they were exceptional in sorting this problem out and a new set of sliding fly screens were delivered promptly without fuss, I would highly recommend this company

LATE/SMASHED/USELESS ROBOT SERVICE
Item was late to start with, tracking didnt work, robot didnt understand when i tried to report the problem, I was just told to wait another week or contact the carrier - there were no contact details for the carrier and no way of getting through to a human, all the responses were automatic and useless. You should monitor your own carriers not ask the customer to do it. Still waiting for a replacement - I hope this one is not smashed

Very good company, very bad communications
I have asked for vidaXL, who appear to be a very good and reliable company, to send me a pack of fixing screws missing from a product box. As is fairly typical its chatbot started well but then it hit a roadblock off its own making when it began going round in circles chasing its own tail. All I wanted was a missing pack of fixing screws. When I asked to speak to a human matters went from bad to worse. So I gave up after 20 minutes after getting nowhere.

ordered 2 planters one came with out base piece, emailed company to be told they don’t have it and i could have £10 back?! they cost me over £40 and was useless with out the missing piece?! ordered again stupidly as i now had one so needed matching and low and behold same thing happened?! it’s £7.99+ to return anything to them! avoid at all cost the customer services are unhelpful and they clearly know they are sending incomplete items out with high return costs! awful company
