I am filing this complaint regarding a dining room table purchased through Temu for approximately $250. The product listing contained conflicting specifications regarding the table’s dimensions. After receiving and assembling the table, we discovered that it was significantly shorter than represented. Had the dimensions been accurately and consistently listed, I would not have purchased it.
This is not buyer’s remorse. We relied on Temu’s product listing when making the purchase and spent approximately two hours assembling the table before discovering the problem.
I contacted Temu and requested a refund. Temu directed me to negotiate with the merchant, but the merchant does not respond to buyer questions or my attempts to resolve the issue. Despite the inaccurate listing and unresponsive merchant, Temu has continued to delay a reasonable resolution.
Temu offered only $70.74 back on a table costing approximately $250. This would leave me paying roughly $180 for a table I would never have purchased had it been accurately described.
I have repeatedly offered to RETURN the table. I am not asking to keep the merchandise while receiving a full refund. However, the table is now completely assembled and cannot reasonably be placed back into its original packaging. I should not be required to spend additional hours disassembling and repackaging a large piece of furniture because the product was incorrectly listed.
I have offered to make the assembled table available for pickup. Temu has therefore been provided a reasonable opportunity to recover the merchandise.
I have made a good-faith effort to resolve this directly. I am requesting a full refund of the purchase price. If Temu requires the table returned, I will make the assembled table available for pickup at a mutually arranged time and at no additional cost to me.

My experience with Temu felt more like a casino than a shopping app — flashing offers, countdowns, constant promotions, and fake-feeling urgency everywhere.
I am very careful about fabric and do not buy polyester shirts. I would look at an item, check the fabric, see that it was polyester, and move on. Yet when my orders arrived, I received a couple of 100% polyester shirts that I would never knowingly have purchased. Somehow, simply investigating products seemed to result in purchases I did not intend to make.
The whole process felt confusing and far too easy to make accidental purchases. I deleted the Temu app and will not shop there again.

Temu have great prices but they have a catch when you order and they make a mistake and send you one item and it supposed to be two they refund your money instead of sending you another one you have to reorder and make sure you buy 20 dollars I have been waiting on my car stickers, and this is my third order which is not correct

Mixed feelings: Great for small house items, but watch out for inflated prices and safety risks
I’ve been shopping on Temu frequently—ordering more than 3 times a month—and honestly, they have some surprisingly decent-quality products. When I moved into my new home, I bought all my home decor, plants, and beauty items here, and those were super. Returning things that don’t fit expectations is also quite easy.
However, things are getting out of hand. Prices have been hiked up so much lately that it’s often not even worth buying anymore The prices of many items on your platform are simply laughable. Take a look at the UK prices on other platforms – you can find the exact same items on AliExpress or Shein for £4–£6 cheaper! And when you buy more, those amounts really add up. I always compare prices, and very often I find the exact same items much cheaper elsewhere with just a few days delivery. What’s the point then?
Also, their so-called "gift promos" are a complete joke. Those are NOT gifts—people actually pay for them through heavily inflated list prices! Don't treat people like fools; you are paying for those "gifts" yourself. Since I track prices closely, it’s completely obvious how much those list prices are jacked up beforehand. Not fair at all.
The worst part was buying furniture. I received a broken table that cost £60. After long discussions and arguing with agents about 10 times over 2 weeks, I was only offered a partial refund—meaning I still lost £18 of my own hard-earned money for their defective product! I never even used the table, it went straight outside to the trash.
On top of that, I bought socks. I wore them to work in the morning, and I couldn't focus or work in peace—my feet were itching and burning so badly I couldn't stop scratching. I broke out in red patches and scratched my legs until they bled. It got so bad that I had to take the socks off in the work toilet and spend half the day working without them! What are these even sprayed with?! Are you kidding me? This is completely unsafe. They did refund the money, but all 40 pairs of socks went straight into the trash.
Please, get a stronger buyer protection and safety system in place so customers don't have to lose money or risk their health when buying from you!
It’s a 3-star experience from me: great for small bits, but be very careful with big purchases and safety/pricing tricks.

Temu’s ongoing delivery problems are holding it back. To grow further, the company must significantly improve its delivery system. Otherwise, it risks slowly losing customers—because no price is attractive enough if the goods never arrive. "There is no safe place to leave the package" or " the customer was not at home" not only are lies but when you protest, TEMU SHIFTS ON TO YOU THE PROBLEM."CONTACT THIS, TALK TO THAT" meaning. I-who was the victim of an unprofessional behaviour-have to solve the problem.

I completed the referral challenge by having 4 new users download and register for the app through my direct link. Despite fulfilling every requirement, the system shows 0 new users and refuses to give me the promised rewards.
I contacted customer support multiple times (Ticket with representatives Frank and Elijah), but they keep replying with automated templates, offering useless coupons, or asking me to join their affiliate program instead of giving me what I earned.
This is completely misleading and feels like a scam to get free app downloads. I demand that a manager reviews my account manually and issues the rewards I rightfully earned.

Most of their merchandise is inferior quality and not as described.
I have returned several items and each time Temu have claimed that items are lost or damaged and refused refunds.
Disgraceful customer service, apparently escalated queries are just a way to delay that same refusal outcome.

I could keep this short but id rather include all of the behaviour experienced. If you were a friend id say just dont do it to yourself, its fine to start with but then it changes. The vast majority of items might be ok ,but the reports coming back saying the silvery as they call it is obviously dull due to high lead content. What's that got to do with anything, well its an indication of how they feel about you , if people sell you poisonous silver then they dont care about you in the slightest. Going back to my problems with them I purchased a rocking chair that was inferior in terms of quality and every day since the 28th I've gone to temu robots who send me to the seller then the seller sends me to temu and so on . 3 times on separate days over the last 6 days I've had stupid questions from the seller and deliberately no return every time I ask i get another stupid question, like would I accept a discount and keep it even though it's broken and inferior quality. This morning it was do you think 5 days is acceptable for the return, there just taking the p. Just so you all fully understand the assembly of this rocking chair is with nuts and bolts which are pressed into the end of an extremely thin metal tubes and one nut came lose and 2 metal tubes wer squashed so couldn't slot them together and had to be squashedback . Even though it was constructed it wasn't safe and the cushions were completely flat and you can feel the metal tubes through the lack of padding. Out of all this nonsense its not purchasing it, its putting up with deliberate hindrance from the seller that makes my blood boil so ill say it again if you dont like feeling helpless dont allow them to do this to you . I cant put you in my shoes but trust me I can handle a lot in life like major operations but temu will destroy your buzz its like a legal black market but if you dont believe me do some research and you'll see exactly what I am talking about. All I want from them is my money but they are not giving me it back and stupidly think they can prevent my refund . If you hate telling people things that they dont understand exactly what you are saying then you'll love temu , they typically say I totally understand and yet I just said to them please stop sending me messages till you have my return then they message me saying they understand and several more messages deliberately, and the more I ask them to stop the more they do it . It's like talking to irritating drunks that say they understand but they dont understand anything and then they have the cheek to ask for a rating when they haven't even done anything. And yes I do understand some of them are robots but its just irritating having to listen to the same old rubbish from them and getting nowhere fast . The questions they asked me suggested that they didn't trust me either, saying things like some people purchased and then sent it back but tried to keep the credits that they earned ,as for that promotion I tried it but it was extremely greedy and kept on wanting me to purchase hundreds of pounds worth of items when it distinctly said spend 60 to get back 30 so you cant even trust the promotions . Sadly I cant see the option to show images of the damage to the rocking chair on here for some reason. Temu you had your chance to resolve this but instead I've been subjected to utter nonsense by temu .don't bother sending me anymore messages just get on with my return today .It started on the 28th when I unfortunately took delivery of your rubbish. It would have been returned but someone decided to cancel my return so you can put it back just as quick. Temu needs to refund it I'm not waiting for the seller to wake up and as I keep saying to you I was given a year to live and I've just wasted a week on you strange people

I've lost with temu 93 pounds gbp. Horrible service. Ordered a cupboard, suddenly it was marked as delivered and on photos of delivery there were 2 very small packages photo taken against the grass in unknown place. I never received my cupboard, the package size of it should be obviously much bigger, neither I received any packages on this order. Seller said they refused to refund because order marked as delivered. Nobody cares that packages on delivery photo are extremely smaller than the actual order I bought which was a big cupboard furniture. I've lost 93 pounds. PO-210-06803109950072555

Cheap? May be, low quality, does not refund money, you get a credit on the account, so you forced to buy. Be careful with promotions, they offer 4 free items if you spend enough. These is a very clever, addictive option, you will get useless items but not items that are valuable or that, you really want. I uninstalled the app, no more Temu!

I regret that I cannot rate this company with zero or negative stars. Today, three of my orders were delivered to the wrong address. Despite clear evidence, Temu has refused to process a refund. The delivery photos clearly show my correct address printed on the envelopes, yet the proof-of-delivery pictures show the packages at an entirely different house on a different street. Furthermore, the proof-of-delivery photos showing the incorrect house were briefly removed from the Temu website under my order history. They were only restored after I informed customer service that I had already saved copies of this evidence. In addition to completely ignoring their own Purchase Protection Policy, Temu is actively attempting to deceive customers. I will be reporting this fraudulent behavior to the FTC.

I tried Temu and was happy with the price and what I ordered (over $300 of things) However, some things I ordered did not fit or were not what I thought they would be. I knew that I would only receive one FREE return so I waited until I had received all of my things to make one return with a label. That's when the problem began. First of all, I didn't realize I had to go to the post office instead of UPS like I had done for one item returned with no hassle. I put 14 items in one box and got the label (snipped because it was so small) I took the label to the post office and they couldn't read it because the label was too small. I went to the Temu site and they said I'd have to cancel my 14 item return and return each item separately and pay for each to be shipped back because they couldn't find the label to send to my email. I copied the label I had into the chat along with the 14 items. They had to confirm my identity to send another copy of the label. I went to my email and there was a response but no label I sent a reply back and got a message that this is a no response email! I found the label and will print it at work next week! What a hassle just for the $24 to be refunded to my debit card! I'm happy that I got a lot of items for a really low cost, but the return process is not user friendly, especially if you don't have a printer or are returning more than one item.
Temu also keeps sending you text and emails to give you "credit" for your orders, but you have to have a minimum of $10-$20 to get the credit. They say to choose gifts, but the gifts to choose from are things I already ordered!!! It's like gambling when you spin the wheel. It always lands on one thing, $100 credit and you have to spend that amount to get it! I've learned my lesson. If you are looking for cheap things and have plenty of money, Temu has them all, and it can be addictive! Don't try to return items. It's not worth the hassle. Check carefully before you buy an item in the reviews, size, and description of what it is made of. They're counting on you to just keep what you don't like or donate it! Ask yourself if you really need something. I'm happy that I got some things I really needed for cheap, but I'm not happy about the hassle to return items you don't like!

The clothes look good online. The style and pattern of the material is fine. However when they arrive, you find out they have a very synthetic feel - a bit like a raincoat. Of course, that means they dry really quickly after a wash and don’t need ironing, but they feel swishy and look a bit plastic when you wear them.
