My response
Dear Customer Service,
I am extremely frustrated with the way this matter has been handled. I have sent the requested link and documents many times, yet I continue to receive the same responses without any clear explanation.
I have attached the link again to this email. Please confirm that you have received it and review it properly.
I want to know exactly what is going on with my case. Why is this still not resolved? I have followed every instruction and provided everything you asked for. There is no reason for these repeated delays.
I have had enough. I expect a clear explanation and a final resolution without any further excuses or requests for information that I have already submitted multiple times.
I look forward to your prompt response.
I recommend that no one deal with AliExpress again. Their customer service has not resolved my issue despite all the evidence and repeated follow-ups. This has been an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience
Kind regards,
Hewida
"Be extremely careful with AliExpress tax calculations! I placed 2 separate orders containing 4 items (total 2 distinct product categories/HS codes). The platform consolidated all items into ONE single package. Under EU/IOSS customs rules, import fees should be calculated per product category (€3 x 2 = 6€). Instead, now i paid €3 for every single physical item as Aliexpress raised prises because they included flat 3€custom duty on all products (€3 x4 = 12€), meaning i paid 6€ custom duty more than i should have.
To make matters worse, their customer support is a complete brick wall. Because the package was pre-paid via IOSS, it cleared customs automatically without local documentation. Yet, support repeatedly demands 'official local customs release invoices' that literally do not exist for automated IOSS imports. You are trapped in an endless automated loop being asked to prove taxes that were collected directly by AliExpress in the first place
Whether this is a gross deliberate tactic to pocket extra fees or pure platform incompetence: If their system miscalculates your tax, getting a refund is near impossible. Buyers beware!"
I bought an item that was listed as brand new and described as being in stock, with 992 units available. I trusted the seller and purchased it for £145, plus shipping.
Unfortunately, the item I received was faulty. It also showed clear signs of having been previously used and repaired. Although I was still able to use it to some extent, it was essentially scrap and certainly not a new product.
I contacted the seller several times and also reported the issue to AliExpress through multiple levels of their dispute and reporting process. However, my claim was rejected. AliExpress replied that the listing did not violate their platform policies.
This means that, according to AliExpress's decision, sellers can advertise an item as brand new while supplying a used, repaired, or faulty product without the listing being considered a violation of the platform's rules.
The new tax rules from 1st of July are meant to mislead. Some arbitrary amount is taken, called duties. Not broken down. Also it's almost double the amount of the products in my experience. Customer service assures you can easily apply for refund if you overpaid. And then when I did it was very frustrating and they asked me for 3 documents (they know) I don't have. To top it of, each time an interaction with customer service happens they have a manipulative policy to beg for a good review, because they trust I am a 'kindhearted customer'. And there is no distinction of whether I'm rating the agent or AliExpress. I suspect it's the latter, which is how they get the high scores in the first place. I think it's best to stay clear of AliExpress.
I ordered a Redmi Pad Pro 2 two days ago from Ireland. Unfortunately I have a second delivery address registered with them in Spain and I requested delivery to that address in error. I spent at least 8 hours online trying to change this and later cancel the order, speaking to a number of AliExpress and Simgrity agents by chat.
Having 'cancelled' twice I then get an email from Ali advising the item will arrive in 2 days.
I now wonder if Ali Express is too large and lost control of it's systems. I will avoid them in future( and Simgrity, their supplier).
limiting purchases to just 1 per customer. POINTLESS USING THIS SITE NOW. I dont want a reply aliexpress
Products are ok but aliexpress now charges 2 euro extra for each item, justifying that it's the surcharge imposed by the Netherlands government. That surcharge was never passed by dutch law, however customer service asks to send invoice and customs paperwork, which ironically is all handled by them and their own carrier. Do not buy products with delivery to The Netherlands as you will get hidden charges besides the 3 euro surcharge imposed by the EU starting July 1st 2026
They don t respect customers. If the seller tricks and is ruud, they must make right if they want to have a good business but only they play games with people.
I have dispute files more than 30 and still they don t pay me back partial refund 23 euro and to keep the item.I had paid 42 euro for poor quality
I purchased a splash guard for my 2023 Hyundai Sonata for nearly $80.00. When it arrived it was totally wrong. Did not fit at all. I contacted the company, submitted pictures of the purchase and the rep verified the wrong product sent. She submitted a request for return and refund. Request approved. I had to return the splash guard at my expense, despite their error via a non-commercial carrier. When the splash guard is over 14 pounds in weight it was too expensive. I took a partial refund of just over $21.00. This experience is discracedul. Do they do this deliberately? I do not know but their return policy is discracedul. I would never buy from them again or recommend this company to anyone else. Be warned. Steer clear.
So tired of trying to purchase a product and always getting that product incomplete or AliExpress using subpar delivery companies that don't do their job right and customer service with Ali they makes it almost impossible get a refund, and they don't want to hold their sellers accountable for misleading details on their products

I have three items sitting in my cart and I simply want to add a pack of iPhone screen protectors to my order.
Instead, EVERY SINGLE screen protector listing forces this stupid "Buy It Now" / "Special Offer" promotion. It refuses to let me add the item to my basket and forces me into a completely separate checkout where I’m expected to pay separate postage costs!!!
I’m not playing these stupid games. I am not checking out twice and paying extra shipping fees just because your system blocks the cart button to pull a cheap trick.
I just want to add some iPhone screen protectors to the rest of my order ans checkout.
Because of this anti-consumer nonsense, you aren't just losing the screen protector sale you are losing the whole £20 order, I’m not buying a single thing from my basket until you fix this ridiculous system and let customers actually use normal shopping cart (and if you challenge this review, I will never purchase anything from you again)

2 months ago I bought a decharger for my BYD Atto 3 but it doesn't give power, and there's a little blue button, which is probably for checking, and it doesn't light up either.
I wrote to Aliexpress, who asked me to send a video as proof, but how on earth do you use a video to confirm that there's no power?

ALIEXPRESS is definitely one site to avoid.
I bought a lithium battery, and the package arrived empty.(even though the bubble wrap where the battery should have been was there).
I opened a dispute on July 7, 2026, including a video of me opening the empty package and the weight of the package, and photos of the empty sealed package. ALIEXPRESS said they would resolve it before July 14, 2026, yet today—July 23, 2026—I am still waiting for a resolution to the dispute and a refund for the item that never arrived.
There is a difference of only 8g between the weight I measured on an old scale and the shipping weight. A 1200mAh battery should weigh much more than that.
ALIEXPRESS won't resolve the issue, even with photos, videos, and weight measurements.

I ordered some pvc foam board. It came damaged. Item was returned free of charge and refunded. I reordered the same pvc foam board. I was sent styrene sheet. AliExpress refuse to refund without me paying for a return. This is clearly unacceptable.
This is the kind of risk you take with AliExpress, it is only fit for purchasing low value items which you are prepared to write off if something goes wrong.

Faulty product delivered and despite 2 attempts my attempt to return it was denied. Luckily there are plenty of other sites that want my coin

My item never arrived, and AliExpress has refused to refund me. Their chat agents keep repeating the same scripted lines, pretending to “check the system” and claiming they have “escalated the case” when they haven’t. They then close the chat so you can’t push further.
My order page shows no dispute button, no appeal option, nothing. AliExpress is blocking me from using Buyer Protection and refusing to deal with a clear non‑delivery.
Buyers need to be aware: if something goes wrong, AliExpress will stall, ignore you, and shut down chat instead of resolving the issue. I will be reporting this to Trading Standards.

One total scam. Customer service terrible will take your money and lie to you stating parcels on way with no tracking. Only to discover that you order was cancelled 10 days after ordering. A month later no item no refund and denying to bank that the order is cancelled. Avoid and shop elsewhere

$382 in product never shipped. Claimed it was the wrong address. I confirmed the address. Still wouldn't ship. I gave a different address. "Couldn't ship" to that one either. Both are big office buildings that receive packages all the time. Nothing unusual. Asked for a refund and he just kept saying "Sorry friend" and not refunding. Filled a dispute with PayPal. Seller told paypal it did ship and gave a fake tracking number that couldn't be located. Seller told me to cancel the dispute and he would refund the money. No way! Finally got my refund from paypal today 5 weeks later.
