My father is very happy with his visits, both short ones and 24 hour ones. He hasn't reported any problems and likes his carers. Wow !!

Professional, helpful and supportive service. As the daughter of a care user I am always able to communicate with staff regarding changes to visits etc. Communications are always dealt with promptly and efficiently. Carers are kind, caring and always strive to meet my dad's needs. During last winter there was a power cut in my dad's village, the local carer turned up with hot water and food for my dad. Checked on him regularly until power was restored. Always go beyond what is required.

As both a son-in-law and the owner of a care company in Bristol, I'm in a unique position to recognise truly high-quality care when I see it.

My mother-in-law has been receiving support from Visiting Angels since January, and we have been consistently impressed by the standard of care provided. The carers are compassionate, reliable, professional, and genuinely committed to enhancing her quality of life. They treat her with dignity, respect, and kindness, while providing invaluable reassurance to the wider family.

Before engaging Visiting Angels, my partner and I found ourselves flying up almost every week to visit and support my mother-in-law, simply to ensure she was safe, well, and receiving the support she needed. Since Visiting Angels became involved, that worry has been lifted significantly. We now only feel the need to make the trip every couple of months, knowing she is receiving excellent care and support in our absence. The peace of mind this has given us is priceless.

One particularly valuable aspect of the service is access to the care plan and daily care notes. Being able to see what support has been provided, how my mother-in-law is doing, and any updates from the carers has greatly improved communication between us and her. It means our conversations are more meaningful and informed because we have a better understanding of her day-to-day activities, wellbeing, and any support she may need. This level of transparency gives the whole family additional confidence that she is receiving the care and support she needs.

From a personal perspective, it is hugely reassuring to know she is in such capable and caring hands. The team communicates well, responds positively to changing needs, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure she remains comfortable, independent, and valued.

From a professional perspective as a care provider, I understand the challenges involved in delivering consistently excellent care. Visiting Angels demonstrates the professionalism, values, and person-centred approach that we all strive for in the sector. We have been very impressed by the high quality of care and the warm friendly atmosphere that is created. The carers are skilled, trustworthy and genuinely supportive, going out of their way to make each visit a positive experience. It is easy to get in touch with the management and they are unfailingly helpful and considerate. For the person who is cared for, consistency is a key aspect that gives reassurance and helps to foster excellent rapport: the organisation of the care to maintain consistency of carers and cultivate warm reliable relationships has been outstanding.

When Visiting Angels came into our lives, things were at an all time low for my dad. Through kindness, empathy and patience they were able to make him feel safe and make him laugh again. They slowly built up his confidence and helped him leave the house after a long time even taking him to see his beloved football team one last time. The girls were able to re-ignite his spark and helped enable his wish of staying in his own home. During his final days they treated him with the utmost respect and dignity and became part of our family. I can never thank them enough for what they did for my dad.

My mum has been cared for by VA over the past 2 years. The team highly professional, a can do attitude, going above and beyond. Every ask met with yes, we can do it. Carers and management team provide friendly, engaging, communicative, responsive and proactive care. Ensuring all needs and wants provided during care visits and offering support during medical emergencies, dealing with pharmacy, GP and shopping visits. Each visit’s observations and care plan tasks documented on line so all the family can see how things are going after each visit. My mum looked after, not only her care needs met but always an engaging and interested chat with a wonderful care team. I can’t thank or recommend Visiting Angels enough.

Visiting Angels currently look after my dad. They come and take him out for a few hours to either the shops or sometimes for a tea or coffee. The Carer are always so good with my dad. The cares are also so vigilant, and will report anything back straight away. He looks forward to the days they take him out. As a family it has helped us by Knowing he is looked after and he is getting to continue to keep his independence by going to the shops and choosing what he wants.

Yes , very professional,friendly, organised and experienced. Dad is happy going for his regular walks and Mum gets a well needed respite from caring. Very happy I found you for them! I find the app very useful as I live a long way away but it's good to still see how the sessions go. Dad can be stubborn so the fact he's going with you is very good!
