absolute rip off do not use i went online to post a parcel was charged £14.58 once i paid it said download and print label (who has no access to a printer) so i decided to cancel and take it to the post office this was all done within minutes of placing the order at no point was it clear that you needed a printer to get the label i was refunded £4.02 i will never ever use these shysters again buyer beware!!!!!
3 weeks after I had a parcel delivered with no real notice ParcelHero took an additional £75 payment claiming my parcel was over the size. My account on their website showed no history so I could not check the info and after 3days!!! they finally replied to my emails. They asked for evidence of the box that was delivered 3 weeks earlier it was long gone. They did not care leaving me with no choice but to accept that they had stolen £75. Never ever using again!!!
Ordered a delivery to the EU via ParcelHero through UPS - upon delivery, the customer was charged tax/handling fees. Apparently, ParcelHero send all parcels as DDU - this is despite no warnings throughout the process and asking for customs info and IOSS numbers. When providing these details, particularly EORI and IOSS numbers it sets an expectation that the service will be DDP.
Took days of replies for them to admit this. Hugely frustrating.
Apparently they themselves charge an up front deposit of £25 and you have to contact them afterwards to change to DDP - information that is not presented ANYWHERE during the purchasing process.
Easy to get what I needed, especially as I wasn't sure how the parcel should be sent.
Timing for pickup was good..no problems at all

Can you provide a contact number to contact your company on please as I can seem to find a correct number online. Used your service few weeks ago and only to check my account to see I’ve been charged 3x the original amount which I paid to deliver an item. this is illegal!!!!!!!
Scheduled an Evri collection through ParcelHero on Monday and it’s now Wednesday and the package is still sat in my porch way waiting to be collected and I’m on the verge of having to refund the buyer for the item I’m posting, and I’m £25 down for postage. Shambolic service. I’ve attempted to contact ParcelHero 3 times with zero response despite being told I’d receive a response within 4 hours via their website, so hopefully this review will prompt them to reach out and sort this issue. Won’t be using this company again and would advise you don’t either.

I honestly don’t know how ParcelHero are still trading.
First, they attempted to scam me with an undisclosed surcharge pulled completely out of thin air. When I challenged it, they admitted they have no audit record, no proof, no photographs, no re-measurement scan, no contractual basis and no calculation from UPS (their own words!). Yet they happily take the money anyway. How is that even legal?
Then I discovered my sister was scammed by them too — out of £826 for a bogus “oversize” charge, again with ZERO EVIDENCE. Her bank eventually refunded her after a formal dispute because ParcelHero could not supply a single shred of proof. That tells you everything.
They even made her send photos before shipping a rug, which magically turned out to be the exact same measurements she booked it as — funny that. Yet they still tried to get more money.
Their entire business model seems to revolve around:
✅ taking payment
✅ inventing random surcharges afterwards
✅ providing no evidence whatsoever
✅ hoping you won’t fight it
Every complaint is answered by the same person — a “Kevin” — who repeats the same script like a bot. It’s either wildly understaffed or deliberately set up to stonewall customers.
This company desperately needs to be investigated by:
• Trading Standards
• The FCA
• The payment processors
• The banks
It is NOT normal for a courier broker to charge customers with no audit trail, then shrug and say the courier won’t give them the data. If UPS genuinely applied the charge, ParcelHero are legally obligated to obtain the evidence before billing their customer. Instead, they lean on intimidation and hope you’ll go away.
Do yourself a favour:
• Use literally ANY other courier broker.
• NEVER allow this company to retain your card details.
• If you have already been charged without evidence, dispute it with your bank — you will likely win, because ParcelHero have nothing.
At this point, I’m convinced their revenue model relies on:
💰 bogus surcharges
💬 copy-paste emails
🙈 zero transparency
I’ve never experienced anything like it.
Avoid, avoid, AVOID.
Excellent all-round experience - Parcelhero is now my go-to carrier - very reasonable on price too

Very good all done as arranged
The only comment I had to ask the company you were picking up from to print the labels
As it happened they did it for me but I’m sure others would not

Absolutely disgusting customer service; if I could give minus stars, I would! I sold an expensive item online and shipped it abroad, received confirmation of delivery by Fed Ex and photos showing parcel was in hand from the recipient, but three months later £500 was charged to my card as the recipient had apparently refused to pay the customs charge. I tried calling Parcel Hero to dispute the charge as how could the recipient have refused to pay the customs charge but still have the package in hand?? But their number was disconnected (first red flag) so I submitted their online query form and received an automated reply that I would hear from them in four working hours, but surprise surprise I did not hear back. I then submitted a second online query form, but again did not hear back. As such, I contacted my bank regarding the unauthorised charge but they have informed me that my fraud claim will take up to three weeks to investigate, so I am now out £500 for at least three weeks. This company is outrageous and they are scamming customers, and I will never ever be using their services again!

DREADFUL SERVICE. ITEM WASN'T COLLECTED, WEBSITE GAVE NO OPTIONS TO RESCHEDULE COLLECTION. ONLY CHOICE WAS TO CANCEL, AND FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF DOING SO I WAS CHARGED £6.00
I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN SCAMMED. PARCELZERO MORE LIKE.

AVOID COMPLETELY
I left my phone in turkey and tried to get it sent back to myself by using this company. I ended up having to talk to fedex directly as they had been assigned my package. It didnt get picked up until 3 weeks later and now, two further weeks have passed and I have been left out of pocket and my parcel has not been delivered. I have received email from fedex saying it is being returned to the original location and that I cannot find out why as it was done through parcel hero. I have sent fedex details of contents and battery safety info required.
At no point have parcelhero attempted to help and it was them who advised me to contact fedex directly.
If I could give a zero I would
