Not had any problems before but…
Not had any problems before with delivery but, on the last delivery, the driver arrived at 8 a.m. and decided the road was dangerous and he wouldn’t pull onto the lane (which other drivers have always done ). We were at home at the time so he could have knocked or phoned and we could have moved one of two cars that were the ‘problem’.
Having paid for a delivery by the Friday, I was first offered a delivery on Tuesday of the following week! In the event, I stayed in all day for a next day delivery which was promised for midday but actually tagged on to a driver’s last delivery of the day.
I told the second driver of the failed delivery and he was astounded. He said this was one of the easier ones!
What I specifically found irksome was being told repeatedly by Goff Oil that the first delivery was dangerous when I disputed this. I took photos of an empty road and an empty lane off it which I didn’t forward, but maybe should have! I spoke to neighbours further down the lane who said they too have oil delivered without any problems of access.
