Have used this company since we moved to Suffolk nearly 7 years ago, using oil was a totally new experience for us but we've managed. The staff on the phone and drivers are friendly and informed website easy to use, always deliver earlier than estimated,wouldn't use anyone else.

We used CPS fuels in our last home and always an excellent service.
This time one of their delivery lorries accidentally did some slight damage to our front verge. A quick phone call to report it and it has all been put right - in fact better than it was before. Thank you very much.

I ordered 500 ltrs of oil, which I paid for as per quote. The driver delivered 600 ltrs for some reason. I have since been chased for an outstanding amount to be paid for that I did not ask for. I called them and they said these things sometimes happen.. which they don't and never have in 20 years. They asked me to pay half.. again I didn't order 600 ltrs so why should I. They are now going to send someone round to remove 100 ltrs. Smells a bit fishy to me to be honest.. and i would going elsewhere from now on. Suppose they need to make up the cheaper prices somehow..
Edit.. after CPS Fuels reached out to write off the extra 100 LTRs I have adjusted my review. Still should not have happened but it's a good gesture from the company. I will add there was an original message on here which got deleted after the writer seen their arse as they say.. Hopefully if I need to use CPS again it will be a better experience. Pretty quick delivery too..

This was the first time I used CPS Fuels. I had so many problems with other fuel suppliers just turning up and not notifying me that my order was going to be delivered. I was sick of it, something as simple as informing a customer when the tanker would arrive is not difficult one would think, not for CPS Fuels, dilatory staff who must have trouble getting dressed in the morning their memory is that bad.

Order placed Tuesday, no text telephone call or email saying that my oil will be delivered

No business acumen whatsoever.

Tanker driver arrives unannounced to deliver my oil.

I was on a call at the time and had to drop it and move vehicles and open two gates to allow the tanker access.

Now if CPS fuels had done what they should have and notified me in advance I would have known the delivery was coming and prepared for its arrival.

What I have established is the oil companies are “Cowboys” we had Cowboy Builders now we have Cowboy Oil companies who could not care less about their customers, why should they when they know we need the oil so they don't care how they behave and now they treat customers.

This sector needs regulating and rogue oil companies like CPS punished.

I telephoned CPS explained what has happened and was told it was caused because a box was not ticked by CPS staff. So why does a box need to be ticked to do something so simple as keep a customer informed?

I asked how CPS intended to compensate me and they were not one bit interested, if they had any business acumen whosoever they could have offered me 30 litres of free fuel on my next order, yet they did not bother, “Cowboys” could not care less.

I will never use CPS again and the sooner rogue companies like this go out of business the better.

It was my first experience of having oil delivered, moved from mains gas.
Online ordering was simple, delivery came on time. The driver was pleasant and helpful!

I was out when the lorry came.

The driver managed on his own.

I was dead chuffed when I saw that he had resurrected the fence which screens the tank.

Great service, always on time with no fuss.

Easy to order and easy delivery . The oil price was the best around.

Very friends driver helpful polite excellent.

Oil arrived within the timeframe promised and I like getting that reminder the day before delivery. Helps that you can see the price before delivery so you know what to expect.
