I ordered a Novum machine from GUR mainly because I had bought a Novum machine from them before.
This one was faulty as from the outset the stitch was erratic and then after about 20 mins it stopped working altogether. I informed the company who asked me to return it making sure the machine was insured for the full value.
When they received it they told me that their engineer had found no fault but refunded my credit card for the cost of the machine but this left me out of pocket for £27 for the cost of postage. Beware that if you are not happy with your order the cost of return can be expensive.

Material order was as expected so description was accurate. Pattern a fun print!

Bought a Janome overlocker at a fantastic price. Arrived the next day with free postage- just great service! Hasn’t been used yet as a birthday present for my daughter but would definitely use this company again!

Bought 2 items in the sale. A Brother Wide Table with nearly 50% reduction on the RRP and reduced Maderia Stabiliser which just tipped the balance for free delivery. Easy to use website, delivery prompt, no issues. Would recommend and will use again.

Great company to deal with, the table with sewing machine was broken. A replacement was sent out immediately.

I ordered a small part for my machine and it turned out not to be the right one—possibly my mistake, as the model differences are quite subtle.
What impressed me was how the company handled it. They responded quickly, identified the issue straight away, and arranged for the correct part to be ordered and sent out at no extra cost. They also told me not to worry about returning the original item, which made things very straightforward.
Communication throughout was clear and courteous, including updates when there was a delay due to a supplier stock take.
Although the original part was low value, the overall service was excellent. I felt well looked after and would happily use them again.
