Disappointing experience

Disappointing experience. I have a cracked freezer drawer on my AEG 5000 70/30 Fridge Freezer (OSC5S181ES), found broken on delivery in April and reported before the 60-day window AEG later quoted (purchase 27/03/26). I was told the fault must be reported within 60 days of purchase — not delivery or installation — and now have to pay for the replacement part myself.

This is on an order of seven AEG appliances totalling £4,071.97, as part of a full kitchen renovation. A cracked drawer on a brand-new appliance is a manufacturing defect regardless of when it’s reported internally — under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, that’s a quality issue on delivery, not something that should hinge on AEG’s own administrative window. I raised this in May and again in July with no resolution beyond being pointed to a paid spares line.

Appliances themselves are excellent. The support process for a straightforward warranty claim was not.

Great AC that came packaged in a ton of styrofoam, an ecological disaster.
It was impossible to track the delivery or get a confirmation for it.
They gave me a 10h window locking me at home, and failed to deliver it during that time, and it wasn't before late in the day that they warned me the delivery wasn't going to come.

Had numerous problems with a new microwave had pacifica engineers out for one problem the door wouldn't open adjusted the hinge. Then turntable wouldn't work or heated. Controls wouldn't work at all. Another engineer yanked the door open with finger now it wont work unless you hold the door shut. Contacted AEG this problem was caused by there repair team pacifica when it was under warranty. The last visit was there gesture of good will and will not be returning as its out of warranty. Very poor quality of products even worse repair team & customer service. Don't waste your money cheaper lasts longer in this case

Rusty electrical oven

Bought a electrical oven Model: 69476VS-MN at 2013. The oven and its parts started showing signs of rust just in 5 years. Since the, they have become unusable and dangerous for cooking. They cost 150€ to replace with a lead time of 1,5 month.

Registration to extend manufacturer's guarantee has consequences

Registering the guarantee for my cooker was not, as I supposed, a direct contact with AEG itself. Instead, the Call Centre was for Electrolux and Domestic and General. The recorded message before the call centre operative engaged told me that by contacting them I had agreed to receive advertising from the above parties by phone, text, email etc, but could opt out by telling the operative. After giving the details of the serial number, etc, I had to listen while the advisor read out a long script of what was essentially an attempt to get me to sign up to Domestic and General insurance for the appliance. When I declined, I was asked why. Although I fail to see why I needed to justify myself, I did give an answer, after which was another attempt to get me take on D&G insurance, by comparing a call out fees to their monthly insurance plan and other tactics. I felt the attitude of the operator change, and I did apologise that he would not get commission on a sale this time. In my annoyance, I forgot to tell him that I wanted to opt out of the advertising.
I do think that this was pressurised selling, and fail to see why a company such as AEG should engage in this kind of practice when all I wanted to do was register a guarantee.

Worse experience and costumer service :(

I honestly can’t believe how stressful and disappointing this whole experience has been. I ordered a washing machine and tumble dryer from AEG, and it’s been nothing but chaos from the start.
The delivery team said they couldn’t fit the appliances through the door and told me they have a policy against going through windows. Because of that, they just cancelled my installation without even asking me — after I had already spent a lot of extra money changing my entire utility room to make it possible for the machines to fit!
I called customer service three times on Monday to explain that I did want the installation, and they said they would sort it out. Later that night, I received an email saying my refund for the installation was being processed — the exact opposite of what I asked for.
After several more phone calls (and being late to work because of it), they told me both items would be delivered this Friday. When I called the delivery company to confirm, they said they only have the washing machine — no dryer! At this point, I honestly don’t even know what happened to it or where it is.
It’s been a nightmare trying to get any clear answers. No one takes responsibility, and every call ends with “sorry, we can’t help.” I’ve spent so much time, energy, and money trying to fix something that should have been straightforward.
Very sad and frustrating experience — definitely not what you expect from a company like AEG

Defective machine for 4,400 DKK, unreasonable invoice of 1,400 DKK, and illegal reminder fees

I purchased an AEG washer-dryer from Elgiganten for 4,400 DKK. Already after the first wash and dry cycle, my clothes were ruined, coming out covered in lint, even though I ran the CLE program after drying as instructed in the manual.

I contacted Elgiganten, who referred me to AEG/Electrolux. A technician arrived outside the agreed time window, stayed only a few minutes, was aware of the problem, but told me I had not run the CLE program—despite me having just informed him that I had already done so with no effect. He insisted that I run it again, claiming that “the CLE program is responsible for removing lint residues.” I ran it again, and as expected, it had no effect, which I carefully documented. After his brief visit, I received an invoice for 1,400 DKK.

I then contacted AEG, but the communication was completely unhelpful. No matter what I documented with photos and descriptions, I received standard responses stating they were sorry it did not work but maintaining that no fault was found. At one point, I was even told: “The washing machine cannot produce lint on its own” and “I understand you have tried this without success, we can only recommend that you keep trying,” which constitutes unacceptable and arrogant handling of my complaint.

Meanwhile, while my complaint with AEG remained unresolved, they also violated two provisions of the Danish Interest Act § 9 by sending the first reminder with a 200 DKK fee:
1. They issued a reminder before the complaint was resolved (violation of § 9)
2. The fee was 200 DKK—double the maximum allowed 100 DKK (violation of § 9, subsection 2)

I will never purchase a product from AEG or Electrolux again. Their handling is systematically unreasonable, reflecting a practice that effectively prevents buyers from enforcing their rights and can be considered legally and commercially negligent.

Terrible technial support for fault…

Terrible technial support for fault finding on a tumble dryer. Essentially turn it off and on and don't over fill it.
All they want to do is send an engineer out for £165. Which will no doubt spiral.
Thought we had a right to repair.
Would 100% try another brand and hope they're better, judging by other people reviews it looks likely.

Disappointed with Cashback Process & Customer Service

I recently purchased a AEG fridge, partly due to the cashback offer that was advertised. However, my experience in trying to claim this cashback has been nothing short of frustrating.

Despite following all required steps and reaching out multiple times for assistance, the customer service response has been poor. The majority of replies I received seemed automated and did not address my concerns properly. When I tried to escalate the issue, I struggled to get meaningful engagement from the company.

A cashback promotion should be a straightforward process, but instead, this has felt like an uphill battle with minimal support. I’m extremely disappointed with how this has been handled and would caution others considering similar promotions. I expected better service from a reputable brand, and this experience has certainly impacted my trust in the company.

Do not buy AEG ovens

Do not buy AEG ovens, we did for the first time pyrolytic cleaning and our house almost burn down because of product failure, plastic started melting and electricity went down, but AEG customer service is telling that our warranty is over ( we bought 3 years ago) and we will need to pay for repair self.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could, they didn't deliver my washing machine so I cancelled the order. I have still not received a refund for the washing machine they did not deliver. I cannot get through on the phone and no one replies to e-mails. I now have the hassle of chasing this payment through my bank. Avoid this company at all costs. I am so surprised I though AEG was a good company.

Do not buy any appliance from AEG m

Do not buy any appliance from AEG m. We bought a $3000 dishwasher and in four years. I had four major problems and now it’s not working at all four days before Christmas and AEG refuses to replace it. They want to take it away for multiple weeks and try and repair it in their workshop. Buy Meile or Bosch

Dishonest Company

Horrendous customer service.
Faulty fridge freezer and paid £169 as a fixed fee repair. No repairs were made. Electrolux and Pacifica undertaking the repairs have LIED from start to finish. Engineer who visited was intimidating. Still waiting for a refund which I requested 3 weeks ago. Give me my money back!
Will be taking this matter further.
Worst experience ever.

Very unprofessional and no customer service

They are very unprofessional, acting worse than amateurs.

I was waiting for their support for more than one hour, and still, they did not pick up, even though the waiting time was "@10 minutes". No customer service or support.

I have sent an email, and there is no answer from them, completely ignoring.

They are a joke.
