Terrible customer service. Cant get through on phone, Whatsapp chats give you additional phone numbers that have you in endless queues. Still not actually been able to speak to anyone. Had a sainsbury... See more

Living in 2001!
All I want to do is pay mt credit card online with a debit card..... Apparently, in 2025, thats not thing!! Are you kidding me? Talk about actively trying to make things difficult for customers!
Did the switch over to NatWest from…
Did the switch over to NatWest from Barclays. They assured me everything would be sent across. BUT NO gets to pay day & my salary is not paid into my account. Payments are being declined AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHERE MY MONEY IS. AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE.
Not a bad bank really
Not a bad bank really.
Once again the fraud team at this bank wanted to block my card so I done bank switch. The bank was quick to unblock my card but I'm already moved and thank you for the inconvenience, by david
Have you tried the app!!!
Have you tried the app!!!
What about confirming a payment through the app!
NatWest is fine so long as you have no important transactions to make.
By far the worst banking app to use
By far the worst banking app to use, and I found the whole company a total waste of time from start to finish
Cora & auto robot phone service number awful..
Tried to just check an entry on my account but I faced appalling service from cora, and then I tried the automated phone number that was absolutely poor, it asks questions that irrelevant. It does not allow to skip and allow to talk to a human it just very very poor.
Poor online services
The chat with Cora does not solve queries then when get put through to an agent waiting 5 hrs for them to reply I have waited 4 hrs I can’t be bothered. My other bank account is online only with someone else and talking to an agent is within minutes such a better service than NatWest online. They can’t be that busy as so many go over to other online banks now not the walk in ones. Which I will need too do, walk in too NatWest to get face to face help as online is appauling .Get with it NatWest
This bank has cause me more mental…
This bank has cause me more mental health and anxiety everyday I ring for a update on my complaint and they make things worse and lie to me and my anxiety is getting worse and I hate my life atm
Very weak security
Made complaint about sending new card and pin to my communal flat that arrived at same time, bank said it’s not there error, blamed post office ? Wow, banked at Nat west for 45 years, pass the book attitude, very weak security exposing me to another fraud.so I think sadly it’s time to move banks.
I'm a new customer regret
I'm a new customer ( 6 weeks). Decided to transfer my credit card to the NatWest because I was given a good deal BUT my word the online banking and the app is the stuff of nightmares.
Trying to make additional payments is horrendous. Its in built payment system doesn't support the Co op bank?? What that about? So I have to transfer money from Co Op to a NatWest account and sort code but the Co Op says NatWest wont verify when I send the money....Going to switch my credit card to the Co Op just to make life easy...the app maybe simple but at least its straight forward.
Awful
Sold a packaged account many years ago. Never used the benefits but the account came with a £100 overdraft facility. Paid over £20 per month for the account and then about 3 years ago, called to see if I could downgrade account as unaffordable. Was told no as I was using overdraft. Recently found out I could have downloaded so raised a complaint to be told they have no record of me calling so won't uphold the complaint. Now having to contact phone company and try and prove I called them, absolutely disgraceful.
I hold a Sainsbury’s credit card
I hold a Sainsbury’s credit card, which has now moved over to NatWest. I had no problem with downloading the App or logging on to check my account now it is with NatWest. I notice that I can see all previous statements for previous year, even though Sainsbury’s advise that I should download them before downloading their App. The problem I had was that i was owing 2 refunds from Amazon, and could not see them in my transactions. I tried using Cora their AI customer helper which was a waste of time, phoning them on the customer helpline you just keep holding on. But what i found was that when calling request a call back, (not hang on). 30 minutes later i received a call back and the staff member checked the account and advise me where to look on the app statements. She was very helpful and polite, whilst mentioning that they were still learning how the transfer and different ways between the Sainsbury’s and NatWest accounts are. So suggest NatWest re look at their so called online help Cora and improve their response time on the phone the 4 stars would have been 5.
Poor service
25 minute wait to talk to a member of the telephone banking team today, 15 minute wait last week.
Ongoing issues with payments using my debit card, they are happy as its their automated fraud system but offer no real help in making payments other than say to use a different payment method.
Based on the time to get through and the lack of solutions you get the distinct feeling they don,t want to talk to anyone.
10 days to deliver a debit card!!???
In this day and age they still need 10 (!!!) days to deliver a card!! How is this even possible? How do they think people can survive without a card for 10 days?? In most shops it we can't pay in cash anymore. This is pathetic! I will move to another bank!
Awful customer services
Awful customer services. Waited 30 minutes to speak to an advisor, then gave up. I will be moving away from NatWest, this is not acceptable.
I would have rated them 0 but I…
I would have rated them 0 but I couldn’t. The worse customer service I’ve ever had. On the phone to them over 3 days and each day I was in a queue for over an hour and half each day in the end I gave up trying to get through to someone to speak to. Absolutely no clue about customer service. I will close my accounts.
Awful closing all the accounts…
The NatWest blocked my credit card while I was on holiday in Thailand, even though I had reported my travel dates and location before my departure specifically to avoid this kind of problem. While in Thailand, I was simply trying to top up my SIM card with some credit when I received a notification in the NatWest app asking me to approve the transaction. I approved it, but despite that, the card was immediately blocked. Strangely, the card account also disappeared from my NatWest app.
There are important transactions I need to retrieve, but I can’t call or receive calls on my UK number while I’m in Thailand. I tried to contact customer service through the app — what a waste of time. They kept telling me to call customer service in the UK, even after I explained several times that I cannot make or receive calls here. My chat sessions were repeatedly closed without any help at all.
As a result, I’ve been left in Thailand with only a small amount of cash. So far, I’ve managed to raise a formal complaint, but this experience has been beyond frustrating. Once I return, I’ll be closing my account — I’ve had enough of this bunch of puppets. Simply disgusting.
Court order for statements. Shocking service
I need historical bank statements from Natwest. I spent two days trying to get through on the phone. My weight dropped, I became dehydrated and had the first stirrings of malnutrition. I attempted to go online but that was like The Bermuda Triangle-both deeply unfathomable and troubling to boot. It made my nerves bad, I spent 2 days in bed after that. Don't name your first born Cora.
I spent two mornings on field trips to down to the Margate branch in Kent. The staff there (to my astonishment) were impotent and moribund. They can't: ring, get in touch or email head office for me nor can they order bank statements. I thought it was the law? All the other banks have done it for me. I now have to pay for a court order to get them and last but not least. Who has ever tried to complain? Who needs the fat-jab? I spent...sorry, wasted 4 hours trying to find a way to complain. It is totally frustratingly, futile. I shifted a stone at least in frustration.. If NatWest were a beer it'd be urine.
50 minutes being passed around to…
50 minutes being passed around to update a telephone number. Can't take a payment over the phone. Laughable. Closed my account.
