Tried to nake a payment if £3.80 on line for panadol extra. They blocked my payment.most embarrassing. They were checking for fraud! No chance of verifying. I often buy things from Amazon as I am disabled..poor service and very embarrassing.

This Bank, this Lloyds Bank, they clearly have no interest in resolving my dispute with them, this Bank, this Lloyds Bank, thye are absolutely shameless !
No matter how much I try to shame them, and ashamed they should be, they just ignore my reviews of then as if they don't care and I truly think that is the case.
Each time I comment with a further review they just repeat what they had said previously without ever trying to explain why the major security beach on my Lloyds Bank account happened.
So here we go again, I will not allow them to ignore me and I certainly won't be going away.
The short story in summary, I went in a pub, I purchased a drink for £6.50 and Lloyds Bank allowed that pub to remove £6250 from my Lloyds Bank account, even though my account has a £100 maximum limit on contactless payment, How could this possible happen ! They won't explain.
Its now more than a month since this happened and I still haven't recieved any explanation, even on here, Trust Pilot, where no one wants there name blackened, they continue to be evasive, they are deliberately avoiding giving me an answere.
They allowed £6250 to be removed from my Lloyds Bank account, as I don't even know, maybe they did this deliberately, maybe its fraud, but when a month passes without any explanation you have to think that theres something is seriously wrong !!! maybe its better to call the police ? how long should I wait, what would you do when a major bank, Lloyds Bank refuses to answere questions, any questions, when a large amount is removed from your account and they won't explain, it absolutely beggars belief and I'm astonished at this stand off.
Most of the replies, read them yourself, from Lloyds Bank, on here, are exactly the same, we are sorry, we understand, we sympathize, but they don't, they keep saying have you made a complaint, they know I have, but unbelievable I've recieved no answeres to my questions, no answeres to my complaint, It clearly shows they aren't bothered about anything I'm saying or anything thats written on Trustpilot and I will say it again they are not to be trusted.
Finally as they won't reply, we've taken it to the Financial Ombudsman, We are waiting for a reply from Watchdog, we will post it on our X account, Linkedin, On our Facebook business and personal pages and we continue to grill them on here for however long it takes.

Dear Arlene, Thank you for your response. I am disappointed that Halifax has not addressed my dispute. Instead of investigating the issues I raised, Halifax has simply advised me to contact Lloyds Banking Group Customer Services. This does not answer my complaint or explain why the information reported to my credit file is considered accurate. My dispute concerns the accuracy of the information being reported and I have already raised a formal complaint directly with Halifax. I therefore await Halifax's full written complaint response. Once Halifax has completed its investigation, I ask that Equifax reviews the outcome and updates my credit file should Halifax confirm that any corrections are required. Please retain this correspondence with my dispute records. Yours faithfully, Mohammed Pervaiz

Lloyds Bank will not update your name even after it has been legally updated with an unrolled deed poll.
Monzo did it under 10mins by allowing me to upload my documentation. I will be closing my account and solely using Monzo.
An unenrolled and enrolled deed poll are equivalent and both legally binding.
After travelling 30mins (to a branch that is shutting down soon, I wonder why) and showing them my:
Original birth certificate.
Deed poll 1
Deed poll 2 changing name back to birth certificate.
They refused. They are now storing inaccurate information and will not update it. Which I'm pretty sure is against GDPR.

I went to Lloyd's bank in worthing and saw Beau, I went in to discuss my late father's safe custody, I ended up with a new Ultra Credit Card and a 4.10% ISA. Very good!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Lloyds Bank branch on Oxford Carfax this morning to sort out my finances, and I was assisted by Lucy (Polish lady) who was absolutely fantastic.
Lucy provided outstanding customer service. She was professional, friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for her—no issue was too small or too complicated. She took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me excellent advice, making the whole experience stress-free.
I would highly recommend the Lloyds Oxford Carfax branch, especially if you have the opportunity to be helped by Lucy. She is a real credit to Lloyds Bank, and her exceptional service deserves recognition.

I’ve been fortunate to be served by Sonia on several occasions at the main Leicester City Centre branch. She comes across as exceptionally competent and highly knowledgeable across a wide range of topics within the LBG family product portfolio. Each time we’ve interacted, I’ve felt welcomed and valued as a customer, and completely confident in the service I received, delivered efficiently and effectively. Sonia consistently goes the extra mile and is clearly committed to ensuring customers leave with all their questions answered. She also takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, leaving no confusion nor ambiguity — a very welcome and rewarding 'shopping' experience these days, especially in such a busy environment as Leicester City Centre Branch.

Bury St Edmunds Branch staff especially Hayley and Shelley the manager are so professional kind and supportive . I have needed assistance a few times recently and have always felt listened to understood and valued, customer care like this is exceptional in 2026 but it should be the standard for every customer services department in all businesses.
I hope this branch never closes as the help you get from Lloyds online customer services and fraud department frequently causes issues you then need direct human contact to resolve explain or address .
Thank you to all the lovely staff at BSE branch who do make a difference and that is invaluable and essential.
